I hate the fans tha only complain about the few things that the writers did wrong in their eyes, while the writers did great the other 99% of this episode.

I don't like the story line of Tony and EJ but Rule #12 would also remove any possibility of Tony and Ziva getting together...
I would think that if it was a known dead agent, such as Jenny, they would have been removed from active security clearances.
I still wonder about the story line of "The Real Vance" but he is older than his 30's too.
It has to be an active NCIS agent that works out of that location because I would think that only certain people could access that MTAC unit...
The eye could be preserved indefinitely if done correctly.

..Frank and George have written a wonderful show this week but darn that Pauley Perrette! All of my guesses about the eyeball were totally wrong. I thought it was Jeanne Benoit. Totally wrong! Now I'm thinking I'd like to guess Chris Pacci as he had that mysterious death and also he worked just over the "hedge" where that Barrett team is now. Still can't stand the Barrett chick. I thought how odd\rude she was to Tony last night when she said she didn't like his aftershave and why haden't he called her and how long was he with Ziva? And the looks she gives Ziva.Something is just not right with her! Tony can't see it yet. Loved the scene in the basement with Gibbs. Gibbs knows something is not right too. Although I am angry at Tony at the moment for flaunting his latest sexcapade "all over the Navy Yard" as he told dear Timmy and in front of our faces he will sure have a 'lot of 'splanin' to do in Season 9 to win me over again - I did feel a bit sorry for him when he told Giggs he w

I'm disappointed that the writers had Tony and EJ hook up. He should know that it's a bad idea even though he plays around a lot. I like Tony best when he is being highly professional in his job and trusting his instincts. He really comes more alive then. I wish the writers would do more of that with him and less of the immature high school Tony.
And Tony teasing and putting down McGee is getting really really old! I think there should be an episode where Tony gains more respect for McGee as his equal and not some kid he taunts.
And, another thing. The writers missed a really good chance in the scene with Ziva and Tony on stakeout. I expected Tony to advise Ziva not to let Ray go as he did with the woman doctor he fell in love with a couple of years ago.I expected Tony to express regret that he hadn't told her the truth.

Great episode! Alot of wonderful moments, loved Tony saying McAbby! Alot of feelings brought to the table & I'm interested in seeing how the writers will continue playing them out. The scene with Gibbs & Tony was a really good one, I was hoping Gibbs would say something about Ziva.. just something subtle like you have think of your partner or what will your partner think, etc.
As for the eyeball, all my previous guesses were kind of ruled out last night by what we know:
1. Someone we know (& in an interview SJM (I believe) said deep fans would know)
2. Blue eyes
3. Male
4. 30's
5. Can access MTAC
My best guess is Chad Dunham.

Admittedly I saw this on another site so not my original idea, but I like the idea of it being Chris Pacci's eye. He died in season 1, is the reason Tony is now with NCIS and was close to Gibbs. he fits the age & they could have preserved the eyeball until they needed it. Since he's dead and his character was disemboweled it's a good way to tie things together especially considering that the next episode has to do with Tony & his origin story which involves Chris Pacci. I can't be Fornell - He isn't NCIS, so he doesn't have authorization to enter MTAC.
And he is too old. The victim was determined to be mid-30s.
That rules out Morrow, Fornell, Franks and "the real" Vance.
we are then left with:
-Daniel Keating
-Stan Burley
-Chad Dunham
-Nikki Jardine
-Cynthia (Jenny's assistant)
I dont think Chad, Nikki or Cynthia have blue eyes and I don't think Stan makes much sense.
As I said ealier, I think it's Keating.

I'm guessing the eye belongs to Stan Burley. We saw him during one episode in season 1, he is a former agent of Gibbs' team. I liked this episode, and I can't wait to see the next one!
Poor Tony he seems like he has to chose between staying with EJ. Or going behinds Gibbs back and break his dating rule. It must be hard for Tony he look up to Gibbs so much. And doesnt want to lose any respect Gibbs has for him.
I loved the basement scene. it was something i finally wanted to see. The relationship between Tony and Gibbs. It had its moments good and bad. Especially when Tony was upset that he didnt get a head slap. You can tell b/c of EJ there bond is strained. I hope it gets back on track for both there sakes.

The fact that the owner of the eye has MTAC authorization really limits the possibilities to an active NCIS agent (or that lady with the magic key eyes a few seasons back, but the eye was determined to be male). Remember, its former owner was also in his mid-30s, which Mike Franks and Tom Morrow definitely are not. Daniel Keating is as good a suggestion as any, in my opinion.

I think E.J is the Port ot Port killer, using the baby doll is a woman thing to lure men in, she is only out for herself, she is not a team player, yes Jenny's eyes were blue but she has been dead a while so her eyes would have decomposed, this must be someone new, she has a grudge against Gibbs, not sure why.

very interesting episode even had some funny parts, liked how tony went to gibbs and told him in a round about way to stay out of his private life.ziva seems to be a bit jealous and even mgee.liked the plot of this episode mask and all it was different.now we have a 2week break and will have to wait and see who the eye belongs to.and i have a feeling agent barrett will be killed and tony will be unconsolable but we will have to be patient.

I'm guessing former NCIS director Thomas Morrow from Seasons 1 and 2 (played by Alan Dale). Normally I would say he'd no longer have access to MTAC, but he left to take a job as deputy director of Homeland Security so he may still have the clearance to access it.
The only thing that doesn't fit is if the deputy director of HS disappeared, especially one that Gibbs was friends with, wouldn't they have heard about it? Strange...

Yes, but she died a long time ago.
First I thought it might be Mike Franks, but it can't be him. He isn't authorized to enter MTAC. It has to be a current agent, so my guess is Daniel Keating.
