@ Jeffrey. Diane said the family is sitting Shiva for the week when she was telling Will that he died.

In terms of the shiva, I thought the food gifts were all rather tellingly oblivious to Jewish culture. It was one of those moments when people you work with, kind of miss who the person is in there home. As in fact, most people we work with are. Most of the Shivas I have been to the surplus item was Rugelach. Very rarely has potato made an appearance - cole slaw maybe. Maybe it is different in Chicago. also, @ Jeffery, I agree with Dana.
@Dana My intention wasn't to be disrespectful. I did not know there was a specific name for the service in Jewish culture. If it was indicated in the show, clearly I missed it. I hope the rest of the review was satisfactory.

@Jake and Jeffrey,
No, it's not. The purpose is the same, but the customs are different. Show a little respect.

@ Jake. Didn't mean to criticize your review. Your review is great. But, I'm Jewish, and no jew calls it a wake.

where can a person get the talking-lion telephone on the " A New, New Day" episode? Who makes it?
Veronica: Do you love my daughter? Will: I'm sorry? Veronica: Because if you do it's time to stop being polite about it, You have a window, but it's closing....

@lexi Wake, shiva, memorial service - all names for the same thing.
If that's your only criticism I'd say I'm doing pretty well. :-)

It's not a wake. It's called Shiva. He's Jewish. Do your research.
