It's official. Bones has been renewed for a seventh season.

A David Boreanaz Tweet confirmed the news, which seemed all but certain for the quirky show that, while criticized of late, remains very popular and well-rated.

Bones creator Hart Hanson has said he's still not sure if or how the show will incorporate Emily Deschanel's pregnancy if a seventh season were green-lighted.

Guess he'll have to write in something good now, although maybe he already has. The Season Six finale, set for May 19, is called "The Change in the Game."

A pregnant Brennan would be a big change. Just saying ...
