I was underwhelmed. TOO many unanswered questions at the end; HATED EJ - really believe she is dirty. Why wasn't Ziva at Franks' funeral? And Cobbs death was boring.

Not as epic as I hoped it would be, but the worst thing is...it looks like EJ will be back. I really, really, really do NOT like her....the character AND the actress. Yuck! The moment I hated most? When EJ said she'd be hanging in DC for awhile and when Tony said maybe they'd bump into each other sometime....double, triple. quadruple yuck!

reading the comments about people asking for a more serious Tony and not the funny Tony I have something to add. I remember in previous episodes I think with Franks where Franks (or another agent I dont remember exactly) was asked by Tony how Gibbs was when he started. Franks said he was a lot like DiNozzo, fun, upbeat, and a prankster. Then Gibbs became serious and his current state over the years. I think Tony is going thru the same process. Since Tony sees Gibbs as his Mentor and Gibbs sees Tony has himself and lots of mutual respect we can see that Tony is become more like Gibbs as he gets older. I m not saying youll see Tony in his basement with a borbon building a boat anytime soon, but you can see how he is progressing as an agent.
Just my two cents...

I would think it had to be Ray in the folder Tony got (which would also suggest that the text Ray got was from the bad guys he's involved with who want him to kill Kort ... and the message that he's in Tel Aviv could also explain Ray's involvement with Ziva). The thing is, if it is Ray, Ziva will really flip out on Tony. What a conflict that would turn out to be!

Well...that was disappointing.
Sometimes it feels like the writers of one episode don't bother to read the scripts from the others. Why was Tony suddenly over EJ (not that I mind...sorry, but she's a terrible actress and I never want to see her again)? Why did Ziva suddenly forgive Ray? An empty box, Ray, really? Why did SecNav suddenly develop a conscience? Did he figure out that with the body count, his nepotism really did look...bad? Why only one guard in the elevator? Why that elevator, which is taken by civilians?
Hardly anything from McGee. Too much running around reacting to the killer, who frankly, didn't seem all that threatening in person.
In short, too many notes.

If Ducky did the autopsy would he has seen that mark. And he should of been able to know it was just made and not in the shot out. Why wasnt that mentioned. Plus EJ saw Gayne last.
I thinks its EJ. After all she saw or knew that there was something in Gaynes wrist. And didn't tell anyone. That automatically makes her look/seem bad or hiding something. I just hope this new Assignment of Tony "s doesn't do anything to or with the team. They are stronger know. The don't need secrets from each other. Poor Tony hes back to being used again. i though he was done doing that. How can he do this again. And want to keep it from Gibbs. I don't think there relationship is back to being 100% b/c of EJ. The last thing Tony needs is to lose and respect or trust from Gibbs.
I am so looking forward to next season. I want to know what Tonys going to be doing. Or more importantly who is going to be looking at.

hi editor yes your right Ej is hated by most fans so i think we can say bye bye big mouth,as for tony he makes the show with his silliness dont know how anybody can dislike him as for ray never trusted him but i have a feeling tony will be investigating him,and dont worry there will always be tiva some episodes more than others and they will be together in the end thats for sure. and tony will be getting head slaps again you can bet on it.its going to be a long wait till september.

First How Sweet was EJ last night man she was totally in her game I hope she comes back next season
Ziva and Ray are perfect for each other and I do hope Ray and her get married that way we all get what we want Ziva happy and Tony can be with someone who see him as a person not a child.
I got to say with Plamer said he was getting married in the spring I though he was going to die still think he should of Ducky really does not need him.

Gibbs building Mike Franks Coffen was so sweet and Powerfully I could see him building a boat next season with Mike Franks name on it and I could also see his Goddaurther and her mother moving in with him.

Hi Janet. I agree with you - an awful lot to be in 43 minutes. Don't get me wrong. I love my darling Tony. Happy, sad, serious, funny, sexy (well, not in the shower scene) but any way at all. But some people don't like his humour and silly side and have taken a dislike to him because of it. That is my favourite part of him - oh ya - besides his sexy smile!!! I think that stupid Barrett will NOT be back because she was soooo not liked by the fans - including me. I need them to get back into the bullpen and joke and fool and chat and work on a murder case together again. Those were my favourite shows by far. And I can not wait for Gibbs to give Tony one good head slap so Tony will know that Gibbs has forgiven him and his affection for him is back!! Can't wait for that in Season 9. CIRay is history too - off to Tel Aviv and very forgetable by the way. And yes, I agree, I liked Swan Song better. The reality has now hit me - we will never see Mike Franks again - ahh makes me sad

Yes Cobb's demise was anticlimatic but that's a red flag in my mind. I am sure we will learn more next season about what he did and his 'legacy'. My guess? He left something or said something or contacted Gibbs in some way and didn't put up a fight on purpose. He knew he was going to die in there- felt more like a suicide than anything else.

I really enjoyed the show. I do hope that EJ won't be back. They can wrap up her part without her. I love all aspects of Tony. The fun loving man and the serious man. We have seen him serious before. Can't we all be funny one minute and serious the next?
Who could be selling NCIS secrets? Has to be someone high. I'm wishing it is VANCE.
And when someone is dead, do they bleed? I thought not, but what do I know.

hi editor well it wasnt what i expected thats for sure it was too much cramed into 43minutes it should of been 2hours finale,dont know if Ej will be back i dont think so,will ray be back i dont know.tony going undercover again that should be exiting who is he investigating either Ej or ray is my bet wont be gibbs or i think tony would refuse.it was a good episode but i liked swan song better.as for tony being serious never he will always be the tony that we love and to all my friends who sends comments have a good summer and take carexxxxxx

I was suprised at the ending. I really wanted EJ to die. I knew she was related to someone and that was how she was getting some of her help with cases. I think that she already knew the thing was in Gayle's arm and that is why she went down to get it not because she really cared about anything. That is why she is staying in DC, she has unfinished buisness. I think Kort is loosing his edge and that Ray is going to take care of him.
On a happier note I am glad that they did not kill off any of the regulars. I was very afraid that Palmer was going to get it when Cobb had him last night but he did not and was very relieved. I liked the wood work that Gibbs made for Franks coffin it was beautiful. I look forward to next season.

I hardly know what to say!!! Nothing like I expected for sure!!! Janet and Tiva - I think you will agree with this. The one person I loathe, abhor, despise the most - may, could, might be back!!! Rats... If Barrett does return in Season 9 - I won't be watching. I hate the sight of her and having her in soooo many scenes last night and just walk away like she did nothing wrong since her first appearance just made me want to throw something at the TV ...her arrogance shines through if nothing else. She just went from one bad thing to the next saying how she "screwed up" and then just continued "screwing up" plus she is sneaky and I don't care if Gibbs now likes her!! I do not!!!! And I have to say, I am a bit annoyed at Ziva too. Ziva, who I have loved since the day she walked into the NCIS squadroom. Ziva, who has been through so much. Ziva, who just the week before "didn't think she could take it anymore"!!! The scene with her and CIRay and the empty ring box - hated that so much.

The season finale for me left alot of unanswered questions. Was finally hoping that McGee would tell Abby how he really felt about her & wondering back to Season 2(I think) when Gibbs asked McGee if he slept at Abby's house & in the coffin. McGee says you let me sleep in a coffin & Abby says Thats not all you did. Who texted CIA Ray to tell him Cort was in Tel Aviv plus thinking that it has something to do with Ziva's father since Ziva's father had texted Vance saying He found him meaning the P2P killer maybe. CIA Ray going to Tel Aviv to handle it meaning kill Cort. EJ cuts Gayle's wrist cuz she felt something in it so what did she do with it & what was that green stuff. Thinking that even though the P2P killer is dead that somehow CIA Ray is involved in it. Gibbs telling Cort that if anything happened to Ziva Cort would answer to Gibbs. What did Gibbs whisper to Mike's daughter in law. Don't want Tony to have another Tony/Jeanne thing going. Tony looking in the folder
