Just watched a sneak peek of Grey's Anatomy Season 8.01, Chief Webber the Hospital board met and said Meredith's suspension wasn't enough so they fired her instead.
Now I am more then ready for Season 8 to start.

I want to see Izzie back, but only if it ends happily for her and Alex.. I don't want to see him hurt again.

I LOVE them as a couple. It was refreshing to watch them fall in love and see that they struggled like everyone else at the same time. Bring her back!!!!

Izzy's a major character of grey's...she has to come back for the season finale...because everyone is leaving this year and this cicle should be closed so that another opens(if grey's continues with the new characters)....(which i wont watch)...

Alex and Izzie were always meant to be and I am so happy that Justin Chambers thinks so too. They could do one of two things to get the two back together. Since Justing Chambers may not renew his contract, I think it would be great if Izzie came back for the last episode and asked Alex to move back home with her. Or, If Katherine Heigl really refuses to come back, Alex could simply end the show by packing all of his stuff and saying that he was going to get Izzie back and that he wasn't letting her go this time. Seriously, that would make me love Grey's Anatomy again.
I originally loved the shows because of the characters and how much you got wrapped up in them. The newer characters aren't quite the same. We know nothing about their past or who they are as a person. That's why I can't quite make my self like April (and because she's annoying) and why I can't like Jackson who had alot of potential after the season 6 finale. But SR made him that 'pretty boy' this season. I used to hate

I believe Greys wanted to keep racheal Taylor but the Charlies angels reboot got in the way hence why she's gone. Would of loved to seen her stay but oh well we move on.

I really think it's time to kill of Izzie's character. If they can make Mer have a hostile womb, Cris have an abortion why can't we hear the news that Izzie's cancer came back?
I was thinking Mr Altman was gonna be gone soon, Altman's love life doesn't interest me. How many more ops is this man gonna need. Will he qualify for the clinical trial still??
But SR has hinted Alex does get his friends back. But I think it'll be intersting to watch him revert back to intern Alex who was so obnoxious. I'll miss the MerAlex brother sister act, they were really great together before the betrayal

No, I don't want to see KH. She left, left in the middle of the season, not caring about her fellow actors, especially Justin, which affected his storyline. I don't want to see her near Grey's. Get rid of April and bring in a normal person, like the peds doctor that went to Charlie's Angel. She was perfect for Alex but of course, Shonda wrote her in and Shonda wrote her out.

i would love to see Izzie back on the show. Alex and Izzie was the best written couple on the show imo. They fight, they had relationships with other people but somehow they always bounce back to each other. They will call on each other's shit but they still have each other's back. I love them.

Please, Please no Izzie, Katherine Heigl was the one who wanted to get away from Greys,firstly be home with her daghter, then we hear she wanted to further her movie career, which didn't happen, why would anyone want her back.
Actually Alex was going to get Chief Resident not Meredith so by shooting hime mouth off he shot himself in the foot. Nobody is saying what Meredith was right, but I understand her logic.

I hope Alex gets back with Izzie. But I know that's not happening. As for Meredith, she shouldn't be the one forgiving Alex. She's the one who messed up and screwed with Alex's job! She was going to get Chief resident when she didn't deserve it, so she should be the one to apologize.

I do NOT want to see Izzie back. Her character was ridiculous with her endless epiphanies and babbling. In my opinion, it made Alex look stupid as a man. GA has evolve into a more mature show during season 6 and 7 and the stories are more credible with the infusion of the new actors.

I'm happy for Teddy, she needs some happiness, I just hope they don't kill Henry off too soon, that would break Teddy's heart after falling in love with her sick husband.
I would love to see Izzie come back, Katherine won't because she is concentrating on her movie career and being a mother, maybe they should just recast the role of Izzie, I can see Ashley Judd portraying Izzie.
And over time Alex will be forgiven for betraying a friends trust and confidence.
Owen will make a great Chief, just watching Season 7 again and there are subtle hints Webber makes to Owen in episode 14 or 15 it was so subtle I almost missed it.
Now I'm really intrigued to see how Season 8 unfolds.

This gives me hope for Alex and Izzie to be together again. The two of them made a great couple and looked very attractive together. Alex has been very mixed up and lost since Izzie left his side. A reunion would be awesome. But then, that's just my opinion.

Of course we want Izzie and Alex back together.
They were meant to be! Even if Izzie came back and they got together and Alex moved to Timbuktu with her, I wouldn't mind, because then I knew that he is finally happy.
Alex's better half is Izzie. There's no doubt about it. And since she's gone he misses her. That's obvious!
I want him to be happy again! Come on Katherine Heigl just come back for a few episodes to give this storyline the end it diserves!

Aries93, i agree with you on this one, Meredith forgives pretty quickly, she can't hold a grudge on somebody, she'll come to her senses and realize she messed up and not Alex

Obviously Meredith will forgive Alex. She was so upset when she walked into his room in the seventh season finale and noticed he was gone. You could see how upset she was.
But I think when it returns, Alex will be the same guy he was in season 1 and the first half of season 2. The only person who was actually good enough to pull him out of that funk was Izzie, and she's gone.
Alex will redeem himself eventually and once he does, he'll need someone in his life that can offer him true love like Izzie. He's gonna need his best friend, which is Meredith.
The absence of Katherine Heigl has ruined Alex's character. I hope for Alex's sake that Izzie will be back one day.

Any news of Alex (especially a pic w/Mer!) makes me happy! As long as SR doesn't saddle him w/Annoying-As-Ever April! He needs a good storyline; one w/Izzy coming back would even be acceptable.

And I think we (or most of us) can agree that Bailey deserves to be chief of surgery. But I guess since Owen has way more experience than her, he is the better candidate.

In the last scene of the finale, it looked like Meredith didn't really want Alex to move out when she went into his room. I think she will forgive Alex sooner than we think. She understands him the most because they are both dark and twisty. What do you guys think?
And I still have hope that Izzie will return. Alex and Izzie were the BEST couple on the show!
