This season they're bringing back Kate's sister...that is cool. Jenny will not be back. I hate to say it...does it seem like the writers are wrapping up loose ends because the contracts are up in the next two years? I HOPE NOT, but just food for thought.

Anything that brings Mike Franks back into an episode is a good thing. It was really something to show his mortality when he was killed by the Port to Port killer, and also the letter to Gibbs telling him he had lung cancer. I was really sorry to see him leave the show. He has always been Gibbs rock and mentor. There has to be a way to bring his ghost back into Gibbs life.

I think there should be a story line with Ziva being taken hostage and having Damon Werth, Former Marine find out who are the people who did this but having Ziva stopping him from killing her captures from what she learned from Gibbs. Then have them spin him off to a new NCIS series in Chicago, at the Glenview Navel Air station (NCIS: Training Station) more of a psychological thing with Melinda Clarke as his boss.

I can't wait for Palmer's wedding. The cast never is seen in a social environment, a wedding with the gang in attendance could be quite funny.

NCIS is a fascinating program that continues to have the characters evolve and grow. I enjoy the back stories of each character and hope to see more of that this season. It seems that we are getting to know them as individual members of the team. I was really sorry when Tony lost the doctor because of her father (several seasons ago). Whatever happened to her? They had a wonderful relationship and steady commitment to one amother despite Tony being undercover. How did Ziva's romance start with Ray? He seemed to suddenly just be there. Mcgee is one of mya favorite characters. It's been fun to watch him develop. The innuendos between Tim and Abby are so mysterious that it makes me want to see them together. I've always loved Abby's interaction with Gibbs. He treats her like a daughter which shows a tender side to him. Like everyone else, I am looking forward to this new season!

Ziva's boyfriend received a text in the final episode of last season. I could not read what it said when it flashed on the screen. Did anyone catch what was on the text screen?

We've seen how Gibbs and Tony came to join NCIS but not Abby. That would have to be an interesting story.

I think tony and ziva should break rule number 12 and get together....the obiviously have feeling for each other y not!!! Also mcGee and Abby should do the same..Gibbs should finally find him a love intrest..and there should be an episode with gibs FBI Buddy

challon it would obviously be impossible to bring kate todd back as she was shot straight through the head but there is a small posibility they could do it because kate had a sister and she could have been the one who got shot

Agree with you on many points Darlene. Ever since they wrote Ziva's betrayal and rescue in Aliyah and Truth or Consequences, it seems like they've been trying to repair her by ramping up her skills to cartoon caricature abilities (stupid writing like in Jack Knife, where she stood firm as an out of control truck careened toward her - not brave and cool, just ridiculous) or they turn her in to a victim, with all these overly tragic secrets and soapish dramas. The character has lost all its fun. They've also dumbed Tony down in order to highlight her desirability and superiority, and shoved a daddy Gibbs/Ziva relationship, again I think to show us how important she is since Gibbs now seems to favor her. They did her character a disservice in the Aliyah arc what with the lies, violence toward Tony, and disloyalty. Still - it's time to move on with the character. What's done is done. No more tragic/super Ziva, dumb Tony, or daddy Gibbs. Back to DPB's characters please. It would be

I agree that Ziva had a lot of screen time last season that seemed to go nowhere. Seems like ever since they rescued her they haven't been able to write a decent script for her based on the original Ziva character - tough, confident, yet somewhat vunerable. Hoping that she gets better scripts and there is more McGee and Abbey centric episodes. I still love the Tiva concept but doubt that it will every happen. I think they should do ala the end of 'Alias'...have them get married move away to some remote place and call them out whenever a super tough assignment comes along.

Ik a lot of the episodes are gibbs related but I would really like to see an episode flashing back before gibbs wife and daughter were killed. I agree with Michael i would also like to see how the team started out together.

We certainly love Robert Wagner as Denosso's dad. Considering the Sr life style and acquaintences always travelling. Could he also be some kind of undercover goverment agent. It certainly could fit.
