Question: Where is Katherine???
I am obviously missing something, but wasn't the last time we saw her when she handed Elena the vial of Klaus's blood for Damon at the end of the season finale? Or am I completely crazy and have major long-term memory loss?

I think That Vampires cannot be turned to hybrids because they are already dead,you have to die with vampire blood in your system to come back a Vampire
While werewolves are living entities,they are only cursed, not undead creatures
So Klaus feed them with his blood, cause apparently only his blood seem to do the trick, kill them and they come back, and as they already have the werewolves they get only the vampire part. and A + B = Hybrid.
(my personal guess about the whole stuff)

I was expecting the werewolves to put up some fight before getting drunk and murdered by Klaus. I mean there were like 10 werewolves out there, and together they might have kicked some ass.
Vampires can't be turned into hybrids because werewolf blood will probably kill them, and they can't be brought back from the dead using the fancy neck-snapping technique.

Great episode I nearly felt sorry for Klaus and his plan going down the drain. Good banter btw Elena and Damon and Alaric.
Looks like Caroline is in for a suprise from Daddy!!

I liked tihs episode but I'm confused about some tihngs.
1st Stefan: he's supposed to be a ripper and a kind of bloodaholic, he gave his life away to Klaus but he still cares about his brother and his girlfriend, calling her and trying to protect them from Klaus. I'm disappointed because he's not really the bad guy they told us he could be, he's just "playing" the ripper and feeling sorry deep down.
2nd Klaus: how could he not smell, see or hear Alaric, Elena and Damon when Stefan and Ray did? Also I can't believe a guy that old and that powerful doesn't have at least one or two friends or whatever people ready to do all he wants to.
3rd Damon: he stands in a very uncomfortable place. Elena and he are closer than ever, teaming up to bring Stefan back. Stefan being absent is good for whatever is growing between them but in the same time, it's the worst moment to get Elena to admit that she has feelings for him because they are both tied up by their loyalty to stefan. I love the show. Couples wise I don't ship but I admit to wanting damon to wind up with Elena. I'm sure shell change and so will he over the course of several seasons and the beauty of it is the journey not the ship! Let Williamson and co tell the story of the vampires. Note that this isn't the story of stelena as some irrational stelena shippers love to profess. Stop fighting all of you. Fast out of gate means you've lost the race already. Slow and steady wins every single time.

I agree w lilouuh. I think damon and elena r perfect 4 each other. Damon puts her in her place when needed and is also her night and shinning armour. He doesn't feel a need 2 pretend, he say and does what he wants. Stephan trys 2 hard 2 be a good guy and is a pusy around elena at times. Remember stephan was a evil vamp when katherine 1st turned him but later turned from the dark side 2 the good side when his friend lexy came in the picture. He was bad way b4 damon ever wa and has always had that evil inside. We caught a glimpse of this when elena gave him her blood and he got the taste 4 human blood again. In the other hand damon i always felt was being evil 4 the sake of revenge, out of spite in other words annoying his bro 4 being w katherine. He has always loved his bro stephan even when stephan tried 2 get ride of him anyway possible. I'm delena also and its not cuz I think damons good looking. MANTY people have other opinions then u. Were not wrong ur just out numbered and taking it badly. I like who I like and so do u. I think, but don;t quote me on this, that werewolves are born and not made whereas for vampires it's the other way round. Klaus biting a vampire would not turn the vampire into a hybrid, just infect said vampire with the poisonous werewolf bite thus; no hybrid. At least, that's how I understood it.
Anyhow, loved the episode, for me the best bit was actually the Stefan-Damon moment. As much as I love Delena, I love the Stefan-Damon even more...

Well, I think stefan makes katherine to a better person and otherwise elena does this with damon. And even if they look like one egg to the other, they are totally different persons. That brings us to a fundamental point. What makes love come true? Is it the look, the beauty of somebody ? I don`t think so. It`s about the heart and the mind. Maybe we get interested with the eyes, but we just love with the heart. Okay, i must admit it`s kind of easier if you look as handsome as Damon or Stefan, what or whoever you prefer.
But i think it`s pointless that we make the decisions. I hope the show will give us the answer about which endcouple it will be in her own entertaining way.
For me, and i read all the dumb books, there is in the last one a really sweet was to make elena happy, because she don`t wanna be a vampire at all.
(And i adore her for this anti-bella-attitude)
In this book, damon gets human again, so why not stick them together than and let them grow old together..

Great episode.
I really adore the show for turning from a highschooldrama with vampire-touch into a show with fantastic storylines.
Love Damon and Stefan together. It´s the same hate-love-thing we all share with our siblings. But without all this hate-attitude they are deeply sweet together with this little sarcastic touch because they both wanna hide their true feelings.
I think the show is much more the the question "should delena or stelena end up together". There are so many great storylines, and i`m really looking forward to Elijah`s coming back, and maybe the rest of the originals.
And Delena or Stelena, well, i really hope that kevin williams won`t screw it up like he did with joey and pacey in dawson`s creek. In all 6 seasons he make this triangle mainpart of the show, and even that he let end up joey and pacey together, he screw it up because he make such a drama out of it. Put them together really sweet, and than tear them apart really unrealistic and i stop watchin the

I thought it was obvious why vampires can't be made hybrid, a werewolf bite kills them (well as much as you can die when you're dead) and werewolves are human so they can take the vampire blood and die like any other human. I wasn't confused about that part but I was surprised by Caroline's dad!!! Although once again he has been mentioned in the past, he's gay and living elsewhere with his lover!!! I just didn't realize he was in the counsel but it's not a huge leap!!! If you marry a person in the counsel it's not a huge stretch that you also become a counsel member. Great episode as usual and giving the fact that Elena was to die for his power to be fully explored has set up a whole new thing which excites me!!! I'm just looking forward to the rest of the originals to be free!!! Okay, just Elijah because I love him and miss him!!! :) !!!!

I'm going to throw you a curve ball. I think Katherine and Stefan will get together and Damon and Elena will get together. Go ahead throw oranges at me but why else should the writers continually express Katherine's love for Stefan and this would be somewhat of a satisfying ending. Remember Stefan was fascinated with Elena because she looked like Katherine. He carried her picture for a century. He denies he loves her because she isn't good and he wants to be good so very much and Elena fits that mold, helps to keep him in denial. I think a bad girl like Katherine and a conscientious guy like Stefan makes an interesting mix; I love it. And of course Katherine will have to go through the whole redemption process (just like Damon has) before she will merit Stefan's love (and he already loves her people). In the books girls and boys Elena admits she loves them both and has done so on the show by her actions so don't be mad Stelenas, I love Stefan too and will be happy if they end up

Caroline's dad: I did not see that coming either! Jack Coleman will always be Claire's daddy but it's cool to see him. Poor Care but I know see where this "romeo & juliet" comes from now! It's gonna be mamma Lockwood against daddy Forbes, even if the latter seems pretty determined to kill his own daughter for the moment. I guess Liz will also come around at some point. But anyway, I was thinking about Caroline the all the episode! I mean I know Tyler cares for her and it was the full moon soon and he wanted to show it to his mum but all I was thinking was "quick! What about Caroline?! That guy wants to kill her! Hurry!" Even if I knew she couldn't possibly die when no one notice, it would be so sad and very unfair.

You can only make hybrids out of werewolves because to be a werewolf you need to have werewolf blood and kill someone, vampires don't have werewolf blood ergo they can't become a werewolf. (I can't believe how many times I wrote the word werewolf)

I actually thought that Bill will be Caroline's father, when I saw Jack Coleman. I just can't forget him as the man with the horn-rimmed glasses who wants to save his daughter but ends her putting in harm's way. Still, it is surprising to know that he is actually Caroline's father, and is still willing to whatever he has to do with his vampire daughter.
Overall, for me a great episode.
