I watched this episode 3 times last night! I LOVED IT! Everything! I don't know what you people are talking about! It was great! CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE NEXT WEEK! I WISH that they would continue through the winter months I would keep HBO. I only get it for True Blood!!!!!

The best part IMO was Antonie giving that guy High-Five, Lala's "Marnie just puked a bitch out" & Badass Eric & Jess, Bill, Pam and Eric doing the creep because of that spell. I had to laugh.

Am I, the only one actually really enjoyed this episode??? I love, that Eric (and Bill... and I am no Bill-Fan)showed their love for Sookie without getting naked. I love the looks they shared with each other. I love that we get to see a whole bunch of emotions without a lot of action or talk between Sookie, Eric and Bill. And YES, it is cheesy that Eric and Bill agreed to die for her, and YES it is irrational and mean that Eric casts Pam out the way he did and YES I would have preferred a couple episodes, "Sookie-Eric-as a real couple" with out Bill in the picture... BUT, wouldn´t we all die for someone who would die for us?!?!? Or for someone who puts us first, before friends and family? Or for not one but two men who are royally and madly in love with us?? And as this is "only" fiction, I very much enjoy that this show doesn´t make sense a lot, or is over the top or cheesy or ridiculous... I just sit back and enjoy the ride!

I've been watching this season and there is something that has happened that has my curiosity going.
Back when Jason was envolved with Amy Burley and both were doing 'V', when they would make love there was the light that passed between them that both couldn't explain. After that was when we were introduced to Sookies 'light' and her powers. Could Jason be maybe a 'lesser' Fey? Could he have some of the fairie blood passed to him from their grandfather and Jason being Jason hasn't figured it out?

Love the fact that viking Eric is really back, sucking blood straight from the heart was probably one of the most memorable scenes this season! I also liked Jesus' dark side showing up and Pams wisecracking. I'm not sure about Andy's fairylove-storyline. I just hope it's going somewhere, not like Jasons hotshot-story. I still don't get the purpose of that, since it seems to be completely forgotten. I think Alcide, instead of Sam, killing Marcus will have some serious consequences. Marcus was packmaster, and I have a feeling that Alcide automatically will become Shreveports new packmaster by killing the previouse one..

lots of thrills, action, emotions, why people don't like the episode? i mean the episode is well structured, well directed and for once, the acting is really good, many goodlines like "gasp in a sundress", "marnie just pucked a bitch out" and more, which gives to the episode a comic relief, common guys i was dissapointed by the beggining of the season because it was too much slow driven but this episode, i enjoyed every moment of it but i guess the fans are never satisfied, but what you were complaining in the beginning was eric is too gentle we want old eric back, and you got it, him sucking the blood of the wicken's heart, you were complaining about the storylines going nowhere, but they all had a proper ending and the finale i think they are going to be all one, like in season 2, common guys you have to say that this episode is the best one, fast driven that's what we wanted because season's 3 finale was dumb, it was not like they promised you things, they had all these storylines t

didn't you see last episode - Eric has his memory back

Suckin blood out of the heart like a hot cherry sundae and that side look glance that makes Eric worth every minute of bad "love" with Sookie. I am dissapointed with this season. And what happened to Jesus being so cute? He doesn't look the same as he did last year? Old love syndrom and he's not "trying so hard" to keep Lafyette around? Who really could have dome so much more this season. But I like Tara hasn't been around much and that Sookie kept her clothes on, but things need to heat up a bit or it's bye bye for me.

I for one was very disappointed tonight. And that is a rare feeling for me with True Blood. I try not to nit pick but tonite was just way over the top with inconsistencies for my taste. This time it was Soookie with the amnesia- she forgets to read Marnie's mind CONSTANTLY...why trust her for even a half a second? She forgets to use her power to help out Eric & Bill during their RIDICULOUS suicide pact. She cries like a little baby forgetting her fierce Louisiana Bayou babe roots. I mean this is the first time she just FALLS APART and does not react in some proactive way other than the one circle incident with her hand mojo.

Some Good points for me tonite : watching the Northman get his warrior 'I will not only kill you but I will suck the last drop of blood outta your heart using an aorta as a straw' groove back. Bye bye 'Uncle Tom'. Watching Alcide FINALLY grow a pair, Jesus braving his dark side to save the day. (But watching Lafayette dither was annoying- work with the man

As much as I enjoyed this episode, I was really pissed off at the fact Eric told Pam to "leave or I'll kill you". Honestly, he's choosing Sookie, some girl he's known for barely even half a year (not including the year long jump between seasons 3 and 4) over Pam - his protegee he's known for well over 100. I get that he's in love, but there is a lot of love between these two.
As for the ending, I saw Marnie's spirit coming back. I was just expecting it to be in Jesus - not Lafyette!
As for Sookie's love triangle, this is just really confusing. I've always wanted her to end up with Bill, but Eric's grown on me severely this season.

    I ♥ ERIC

THE scene that made my week was most definetly ERIC RIPPING OUT THAT WICCAN HEART AND DRINKING FROM IT. Loved it. So him!

That's all I gotta say about this episode. Oh, and for a quick moment there, I tought Jessica was going to burst into flames during the incantation.

TB, for some reason, makes little sense when watched episode by episode, but makes excellent viewing when watched it large chunks of, say, 3 hours (or as full seasons on DVD or, better yet Blu-Ray - with enhanced commentary, a BD exclusive)

Why didn't she just run through the fire? Quickly Macguyver style. Or, no wait... Sookie is officially the most distressed damsel in existence.
One of the best episodes of the season though, except the manly suicide pact was idiotic. Probably Eric could have shot Bill and changed his mind afterwards, but for Eric to volunteer to go first? While being the newly re-juiced Eric? That's just too much OOC-ness from Eric. The thing with Pam after is even worse.
Eric is still plummeting down this "Love lift us up where we belong" shtick and it's starting to put a bad, assy taste in my mouth.
Otherwise, Bill was excellent, despite his regression.
Andy, forgiven for wasting so much time last episode by doing something interesting in this one.
    Gansta Sam reappeared!!! Holla!!!

I did not like this episode as much as last week's. A lot of insanity went on in today's episode. And Eric is not referring to Bill as "His King"? What? Didn't Eric regain his memory? And it was kind of ridiculous that Eric just kneeled in front of Bill suddenly giving his life away for Sookie without even trying to think of a good plan to fight off Antonia. A lot of ridiculous plots in this episode, I was kind of disappointed. The only one that made sense was Alcide. And Andy with a fairy? Why even go that way. They are introducing a lot of new storylines at the end of the season, when they should be just wrapping up them. And Marnie is not gone yet? Whatever, they should just concentrate on Sookie, Eric and Bill.

I really enjoyed this weeks episode.. knew something more had to happen once it seemed all "suddenly resolved". My only thing is, Marnie was only strong because she had antonia... she was not that strong on her own, so I dont understand how she can be all that strong now that she's taken over Lafayette, unless they make that whole halloween play apart and give her the strength she needs to take out her revenge (again this is just a hunch)..and i totally agree that that was the worst cgi fire lol infact it shouldve burned sookie a bit more, she shouldve needed to heal after being stuck in the circle of fire for a few mins

this was a good episode and looking very much forward to the finale. one because the preview looked awesome, two because it is a halloween episode and that is my favorite holiday.
