I loved Dan and Serena in this episode. I hope the point of this story is for Serena to learn to appreciate Dan. Blair is never going to love Dan the way Serena does. She just needs to grow up to deserve him. I also love what they are doing with Chuck this season. I just want this stupid wedding episode to be over with soon. So boring.

Derena and chair might be back on? Urgh. Thank god the Diana/ivy story line is picking up. That is seriously the best story line now as we don't really know what could happen. As of this episode the other plots have become predictable and border lining on boredom.
Let's hope the much hyped episode in 2 weeks will actually shock us as far as the Blair/chuck/dan/serena drama goes. Though if they just give us an hour of Diana and her story I'd be fine with that too.

chuck slayed me in this episode great acting especially at the end wit the phone call..i loved chuck's line that the dog collar would look good on a girl lol... also i don't think the psychologist had ties to louis rather than he saw that chuck had ran into her on gossip girl so louis contacted her

I know they are not blood-related. But to me, the whole sharing parents thing doesn't do it. It's odd. It's just my personal opinion. And it doesn't help that Derena had reached a point where you just wanted it to end and never ever be back in the previous seasons. They now bore me and frankly, I don't know in what way they could make it interesting again. I like Serena as a friend and I like when Dan and her are on good terms, but not as a couple.
Actually I want Carter back because she had tons of chemistry with him (or was it just me?) :-P

Dan and Serena are NOT siblings. Yes, their parents are married.
But Dan and Serena did not grow up in the same household together as step siblings. They do not have that type of relationship. They met and dated before their parents did. There is nothing gross or wrong about it because of that.
I do think Dan has feelings for Serena. You don't go from loving her to Blair being the love of your life in six months, especially when they haven't even dated.

i'm sad for Chuck Bass, he's my favorite one and it's obvious that Blair is not happy with Louis... and honestly i can't stand seeing my Chuck Bass... i just hope all this drama is worth it, I want Chuck and Blair happy with their beautiful baby Bass!

I wasn't entirely into this episode (the obvious lack of Dair is one reason) but what I liked is:
-Chuck! I like his scenes. I love to see him become more mature and I do feel bad for him. I sincerely hope this psychologist isn't in for something big. My thoughts are, Louis has hired her before to bump into Chuck in that dog park so that they meet. Then, she would get him in therapy and extract from him the confession that he and Blair had sex while she was with Louis.
-Serena being a better person. Or not entirely. She did go behind Dan's back and use him to get what she wants. It was nice to see her finally value something, even if it meant a little backstabbing. Her tete-a-tete with Dan was sincere. I did not feel like Dan had any romantic feelings for her (especially when he said that thing about being old before deciding who the love of your life is, which to me seemed like he meant Blair). I would like for them to be friends, but please NO Derena. They are siblings and they jus

Dan was the love of her life but other than the multitude of guest stars she dated, she couldn't choose between Nate and him. And the whole time she thought she was the love of his life? And she didn't mind flaunting her relationship with Ben at his loft? So basically, she thought he was a fool that no matter what she did, no matter how much she took him for granted, he would always love her and be there for her. This is GG so I expect them to reunite now that she's threatened by his feelings for Blair and wants him again. But outside of GG, I would say, you snooze, you lose. She doesn't deserve to get him back and instead, this should just be a life lesson for her to treasure those around her.
On a good show, she and Chuck would definitely end up alone. But on GG, they will end up with their so-called loves.

okay, another thing i want to bring up is that in spite of what you said about how that blair is going to be a wonderful mom, i totally digress on that one.
i have watched friends and family members go through pregnancies and during those pregnancies, all they could talk about was baby related stuff and how they were going to raise that baby. it got annoying at times, but still, you felt that they truly loved that child and were thrilled about it.
blair barely talks about the baby itself and when she does, it's like she's talking about a dog. and speaking of dogs, in ten seconds, chuck showed more love, affection, and paternal instinct to monkey than blair has shown to the child she's carrying for the entirety of this season.
and um, is it just me or would it totally be depressing to know you're carrying the offspring of louis? he is so boring and feminine (let's face the music...he's blair's bitch)

@ Ashley: what you say about Louis is indeed possible, because he did spoke with familiarity to her, but if this the case I hope the writers give us a good explanation of such a plan because right now I don't see it as a logical one. What guarantee did Louis and the psychiatrist had that Chuck would notice her and pursuit her with such insistence? That's why I don't think this was planned, but this show is so crazy, who knows, but if it was planned I want a logical explanation.
Also, I saw too what you say about Dan but the whole thing still bugged me. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to say Dan and Serena don't have a shot, like you I believe that at least now we are starting with something. It just bugged me that he wasn't more sensitive to Serena's feelings in general. I don't think he forgot all they had, but he has a certain detachment to it that bugs me. Maybe is a little her fault, after all her flings maybe he thought he wasn't so important to her or that what they

Okay, this episode was good, but full of holes. For one, HOW int the WORLD did they get LEGAL documents drawn up in the space of fifteen minutes to an hour or two, while never leaving the Waldorfs? I understand that they're royalty, but with how many pages and clauses there were, that would have taken HOURS.
It's not the only hole I found, but I don't have enough time to list them all, and I'm sure the round table will mention them tomorrow. Not the best episode, but better than last week's.

i think dan should end up alone. his lonely puppy dog routine is cute, but not when he's tried it already on like 5 girls on the show. blair deserves better.
team louis and blair! yes, they are clearly doomed, but louis treats blair right. louis may not be what we want, but he is exactly what blair needs. come on guys, she is having a baby. you think some emotional support would be necessary.

The reason I assumed that Louis had a previous arrangement with the psychologist was the way he talked to her on the phone. It's like he knew her.
And about Dan, I see what you're saying about what he said. But he did say Serena inspired him from the beginning also, and that he trusts her. That's a start. I think he'll get his crap together eventually.

The best thing about this episode was Chuck realizing he needs therapy, and Eleanor hugging Blair. Other than that it was too slow for my taste. I don't care for how Blair is conducting herself; she has almost forgotten who she is. Still don’t like Louis even though he seems to have grown a new pair when it comes to his family. I see now that his insecurity is what will bring him down. Manipulating Chuck through this shrink will lead to Louis' demise IMO. Blair, even in her given state, would never accept that. Louis is more like the bad Chuck than I anticipated. It seems he will have the shrink help convince Chuck to stay away from Blair for his own good. Anyhow, I am looking forward to upcoming Chair scenes. I'm convinced that these encounters will lead Blair and Chuck back to each other.
Really enjoyed Dan and Serena scenes and glad Rufus contacted Dan so they could repair their relationship. Though now I believe the upcoming kiss episode won't be them. Probably will be Ivy

Third, Chuck Bass, I believe in you! Team #DevilRedeemed!
Fourth, Dan, stop double-dipping! Pick one and run with it.
Fifth, why can't Blair realize that she's being WEAK right now? Blair, remember when you wouldn't let Gossip Girl be right about calling you "weak" with Chuck? Screw Princess Blair, I want Queen B back!

Its not like Serena and Dan haven't dated other people though. They've had other relationships and been apart. Same with Chuck and Blair. Serena and Dan have always had that conneciton. Even when they weren't together they always were there for each other. I feel like people can grow up without growing apart or their connection fading, and I think that's the case with Dan and Serena and Chuck and Blair.

I'm gonna try to be fast, wish me luck:
I didn't find the episode boring but it was less exciting than the previous ones. I hated 2 things about this episode:
One, Blair was being childlish. What was that when Blair basically told Serena she should quit her job because her boss was bad and then go grab lunch together? Blair acted like a child, and although Serena later admitted her attitude towards Blair had to do with jealousy, even if Serena had reacted differently the point remains Blair acted completely inmature, even more when she didn't get her way and decided to move to Monaco because of it. Beatrice can be a villain, but she had a point when she was signaling Blair's behaviour whenever she doesn't get her way. You can say Beatrice was finding Blair's weak points and was exploiting them, and Blair wasn't even aware. And yes Beatrice was being better in Blair's Modus Operandi than Blair. Also I found upseting that only Serena had to apologize to Blair, yes Serena had

All I can say is how many people think their high school boyfriend is the love of their life? Just because the show started with Dan and Serena doesn't mean the writers have to stay there. People grow up. I like that these characters change, I don't want to see them with the same people or that would be boring. I would like to see Dan with Blair just to see what it would be like.
