90210 is taking a break this week from airing new episodes, but not from delivering casting scoop:

Michelle Hurd (The Glades, Gossip Girl, ER and Law & Order: SVU) has nabbed a recurring role on this CW drama. Look for the actress to debut in December as Colleen Manus, an event planner “with a lucrative proposition,” according to casting notes. Take your best guess as to what that means.

In other exciting casting news: Arielle Kebbel, formerly of The Vampire Diaries, will strike up a relationship with one of the show's male leads later this season.
