NCIS Episode Preview: Who is Gibbs' Ideal Woman?

at . Comments

When a coast guard officer is gunned down on a cargo vessel, NCIS searches for the killer, putting the agents smack in the middle of a deadly terrorist plot and an international diplomatic quagmire.

That's coming up next week on NCIS, as Gibbs teams with CGIS investigate a murder and in the process uncover a family seeking political asylum. Working with CGIS, of course, means Abby's back.

Not Abby Scuito, the focal point of last night's outstanding episode (see our NCIS review from earlier), but Special Agent Abigail Borin, the redheaded, CGIS Gibbs counterpart played by Diane Neal.

Also intriguing? CBS' official press release for the episode says that "Tony and McGee try and find the perfect woman for Gibbs." What do you think that entails exactly - and is it next Tuesday yet?

Here's a promo for "Safe Harbor," in which SecNav Jarvis (Matt Craven) returns as well:

why not have him hook up with Kate sister :)

Do. Not. Go. There.

I'd like to see him with someone NOT in law enforcement or in any way connected to the job. With all of the others, Mann, Borin and that annoying lawyer, none took Gibbs out of his element.

so far, best suited for gibbs is-was hollis mann. character-wise she had the background to get where he was coming from, and having worked with him directly, enforced that. actor-wise.. she had enough presence to hold a scene with/against him, hold her own... when they had scenes together, the interest was divided equally, rather than just a focus on what gibbs reaction/ response etc would be.

lol Janet. But I like Abigail Borian too she seems right for him.

i think gibbs ideal woman is me haha just joking the coast guard agent abigail borin seems perfect for gibbs.

Tony: One other question, I know you're an expert in English history. And I was just wondering, have you ever heard of Archibald Drummond, the 17th Earl of Trent?
Ducky: The Earl of Trent. No, I can't say I have. Why?
Tony: I was just wondering. Thanks.

McGee: All right. Well you should probably know that Abby and I used to date?
Bishop: Ew. Like, each other?
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: Wait - isn't that a violation of rule 12, never date a....
McGee: It was a long time ago. After we'd broken up, one night I went to her lab. Found a scribbled piece paper; a list. Potential boyfriends had to fulfill certain conditions by a pre-arranged date or else, goodbye.
Bishop: Such as.
McGee: Things started off relatively normal: opening the door for her, flowers, putting the seat down. Then around number 8, it gets uh...
Bishop: What?
McGee: Does she know you have these?
Bishop: Does she know you have these?
McGee: Yeah she wasn't happy when she found out.
Bishop: These are all very specific.
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: These ideas apply to you?
McGee: No those rules weren't in place when we were together. At least I don't think so.
Bishop: What's with the two month cutoff? Abby's sabotaging herself. I've seen stuff like this before. We have to talk to her.
