According to TV Line, Anders will take part in the same episode that brings Jeffrey Wright to Princeton Plainsboro, portraying the Patient of the Week (Audrey Marie Anderson will play his wife), but not just any Patient of the Week.

“David’s presence will change the course of the season,” says producer Greg Yaitanes. “We are all fans of his work here at House and excited he is lending his talent to such a significant episode of our series.”

How do you not mention Heroes as one of his credits?!

Change the course of the Season? I think it may leading to him taking over the show from Season 9.

An amazing actor who deserves his own show, as Ruthie has said. I love Anders since I first saw him as Sark in Alias.
