Meet Mrs. Evans: Glee Casts Sam's Mom
Glee has found a wife for John Schneider.
A few days after that actor was tabbed as Sam's father, and scheduled to appear on the December 6 episode, Entertainment Weekly confirms that former Guiding Light star Tanya Clarke will also come on board as Sam's mother, Mary.
She will also debut on December 6 and may stick around beyond that, as Chord Overstreet is signed for multiple episodes this winter. It's unknown at this time what brings the family back in to town, after Gleeks were told on the third season premiere that Mr. Evans took a job elsewhere.

whoo hoo sam's coming back and, finchel and klaine are getting tog. my dreams come true. now we DO need either Quinn/Sam or Quinn/Puck -- bit behind, just finished watching s2 and really looking forward to catching up on s3. episodes look really good!
