ok putting aside any ships people....dair happening would honestly make no sense. blair has repeatedly told chuck how much she is in love with him and she was about to break off her wedding for him a few episodes ago. i don't know why people think that because she left with him that means that dair is happening. louis said it himself dan is her best friend. she was hurt and needed her best friend to help her out (serena doesn't seem as if she would be helpful in the situation). i would lose all respect for blairs character if she all of a sudden ends up with dan. she hasn't expressed any romantic feelings towards him, i mean hello they kissed and nothing ever came out of it. just because dan is in love with her doesn't mean she needs to be in love with him that isn't how real life works.

@dover I was really looking forward to reading your comment and I wasn't disappointed;-)What you wrote about Blair and Chuck, I agree with you 100%. I can't stand this version of Blair and I don't even care about her anymore. Did she really believe that Louis would still love her after she humiliated him a thousand times? Louis is not Dan. I think Louis being evil could be an interesting storyline and maybe Chuck and Blair could plot together against the Grimaldi family like in old days. Apart from that I don't like Blair at all now. She is just annoying and I don't care who she chooses to be with. She accused Chuck for ruining her life, when Blair' s the one who is doing that to herself. I just hope that the writers give Chuck happier storylines. I don't want to see him miserable for the rest of the season.

Also, I never cared much for Dair but this episode really made me hate this ship. The old Blair would have started a take-down the moment Louis finished his evil speech but now her answer to every problem seems to run and hide in Brooklyn. The writers are rushing into things and ruining Blair and the show along in the process. The concept of Dair may be all cute and dandy but instead of developing the relationship properly, they just come up with stupid and contrived storylines to tease fans (Dan writes Louis´ vows, Blair runs away with him). In the process they quite purposefully ruined Chair, but now they don´t even bother to make Dair´s progression believable? In this episode I felt most for Serena and Chuck who in my opinion deserve better then Dan and Blair. Those two were the worst and most unlikeable characters on the show lately. And leave it to Dan to use his power of judging and immediately blame Chuck for the gg blast.

The episode was entertaining, funny at times, made me feel nostalgic and melancholic. But I really dread the things to come. I am tired of the Dair-Chair melodrama dragging out. I am so, so tired of BLAIR. I just don´t care about her anymore. Despite the things he´s done to her in the past Chuck deserves better then being dragged along by a woman who marries one guy, tells another that she loves him and then runs away with the third option. I´m just sick of seeing Chuck, who´s been a good guy this whole season, being miserable and lonely. I cheered when Chuck tricked Cavalia and was happy that he didn´t purposefully ruin Blair´s wedding but he´s lost his flare. I want the writers to prove that a good guy can also be a badass and stop Chuck´s “love-sick, miserable puppy” act. The only thing that keeps me watching is the possibility of the NJBC (+ Jack!) vs. the Grimaldi family. And of course I hope Chuck will rise to his former glory and finally find some happiness!

Does anyone know if B is wearing the Erickson Beamon neckless at the wedding?

I absolutely loved that Eleanor went to get Chuck because it perfectly showed how much her and Blair´s relationship has evolved since the pilot. Eleanor never objected and even encouraged Blair and Nate´s relationship and was totally unaware or didn´t even care that her daughter was unhappy. Now she just needed a few moments with Blair to understand how miserable her daughter was and that she wasn´t marrying the guy she loved. In season 1 Eleanor was all about appearance but now she is willing to cause a major scandal so her kid would have a shot at happiness.

I liked the episode itself. There were moments which I truly loved and I even gasped a few times. I almost cheered when Louis revealed his darker side. I officially love him now. He just seems like this type of guy. Cute, loving and charming when happy, but a cruel and heartless asshole when hurt. I believe that because he was so open and vulnerable towards Blair and even loved her, when she hurt and humiliated him so much, he just lashed out and wanted to hurt her as much as possible. Such people do exist and I love to see such a character on the show.

Dan as well as Nate have been in and out of love with most of the female characters on GG. Chuck on the other hand has been in love with Blair ever since the first time they hooked up and as for Blair the love has been mutual.

  9. New In Town

Savage is quick to point out that Chuck and Blair had "some great great moments in tonight's episode and there are many more to come ... they are not by any means done!"

well, well, I gotta feeling that we have CHAIR as our endgame!!!

  10. dan whoooo???

OMG YOU FUCKIN DAIR FANS ANNOY MEEEEEE!!!!
ITS GONNA BE CHAIR & DERENA IN THE END.....

  11. danielle grey

did blair have the erickson beaman neckless on at the wedding that chuck gave her for her birthday in season 1?

I didn't like that sissy prince from the very beginning!
And I think that this between Dan and Blair is just a friend thing, because she knows she can rely on him... They're friends, as much as he wanted something more!
The girl has just admitted that she loves Chuck, every day more and more. For heaven's sake you even have it recorder =P

Why don't i get all this furstration and the storm of complaints... It was a fine episode and i ,as a Chair shipper, am perfectly happy with it.
-> Yes Blair did go through with a loveless and pointless marriage...But now that Louis is a scheming and munipulative bastard we can finally have some fun! some drama!
-> The Chair scenes were amazing...Nothing was missing, except for Blair's senses...But the love was there and Ed and Leigh were beautiful together as always!
-> Asking Dan's help was expected from Blair. He's sb she can trust. But she said it...She loves Chuck more as days pass and she did embrace Serena's feelings for Dan and told her to go for it! So...i think the plot might be heading to the right direction.

Anyone else love the scene where Blair asked Cyrus to escort her as well?

  15. Cathy

I must say what was not said through that entire article, for someone who is about to become a princess, she sure had a bad, very bad hair style. They should have done better. Serena's was nice, I really liked the "hair bow" in the back.
I want Dan and Blair together. I think they are a good fit. He makes her human.

  16. Lisa

"From Dair and Chair, to Blouis and Derena, this episode gave fans on every side..." WHAT?!?!?! every side?!?! You can not have serena end up with her brother! Unless Rufus and Lily break up, Serena and Dan together would be disgusting! Come on- they are step siblings. Serenas end game should without doubt be NATE!! Nate and Serena, that's mythic. Blair even said so herself.

They may as well call Gossip Girl "Blair Waldorf & Her Complicated Love Life Which Isn't Complacated At All." Blair has become the most annoying character on the show, no you read that correctly. She's more annoying than Serena now, Blair now IS the old Serena. Blair used to be ambitious, intelligent and strong. I miss her. R.I.P Queen B, you're officially gone. Nate and Serena are background characters with little to no story line, Chuck and Dan just lust after Blair although Dan does a much better job of hiding it. I feel as this show sinks lower with each episode. The only highlight of this episode was Georgina and the last 5 minutes with Louis showing his true colours and Blair running off with Dan. The writers need to make Dair happen now or this show is going under.

Yeah I agree with you people on here who are Dair fans cause so I am, it was more than friendship when she called Dan she could have called anyone else but she chose Dan I think that means something. Chuck and Blair just aren't meant to be together sorry people but that's how I feel, and the ending was perfect for Dair fans. DAIR FOREVER

  21. toohip

I dont understand why everyone thinks Blair is going to Dan when all she did was get in a car with him? I maybe wrong but I sitll think its a friend thing. So she called him, he has been there alot for her that does not mean she is jumping on the Dan train. I think there maybe more to come..

  22. Pat

I'm not sure Blair calling Dan means anything beyond friendship. Yes she could have called Serena but I have never thought Serena or Chuck that dependable (and I'm a diehard Chair fan). I think Dan is a good choice because he will just listen. Serena is always forcing people to talk and Chuck obviously has an agenda in this situation.

  23. Observer

    Louis is badass!

  24. Lil J

It's hilarious to see all the chair fans react from 100th episode. Butthurt much? Sorry your arguments are so invalid. Chuck and Blair are forever? Lol, your kidding me right?

  25. joyce

I like that episode, to be honest I loved it. Had funny scenes, exciting, romantic, memorable, and many of them took my breath away. In particular, the scene that Blair takes the phone and talk to someone then shows Chuck, then I thought, Chuck... again, please don't, but then Chuck asks for her as she runs to the car and Dan is standing there waiting for her, was amazing... I mean, she could talk to Serena, Chuck was dying to see her leave Louis, Nate surely help her escape, Eleanor, Cyrus, Dorota, Herold, Rufus, Lily, they all help her if she ask... But she called DAN. And That was perfect.
