They could easily have made a play on 'Five reasons to love Five-0' and they didn't, which is indeed very hopeful. Unless they're messing with our heads, of course...
This promo also focuses heavily on the Steve/Danny partnership and banter, which has been missing a bit so far this season, and which was one of the things that made last season great. This is hopeful because it suggests that TPTB have been taking notice of some of the feedback they've been getting.
I'm really wondering if Lori has been a red shirt all along, but that things have backfired a bit because we were supposed to love her so much that we'd be crushed if anything happened to her...

@zia...two things struck me about this promo. They made a point of saying four reasons and they did not have to do that, and then went and showed the four in separate scenes to make the point even further and #2 the fact that lenkov posted it. He is the most stubborn when it comes to accepting that lori is not liked by the majority. I think it is huge that he promoted the promo. Why would they spend money on promoting a character that is temporary? If they were gonna add her to the opening or add her on permanently she would be in all the promos.
I personally think this is quite the good sign indeed. Fingers crossed!

@Jschoi.....I know the one you are talking about. That was done in the summer before Lori appeared. I do see it every once in a while still. When Steve was being sworn in by the 1st governor over the phone in his father's garage, and the others with a voice over swearing in. That's a good one.
@Amazingalex......I don't know if it means anything, but to point out 4 ways to say "O" is a little suspicious. They aren't going to say either way, I'll adjust no matter what.

@Zia... that was a good one, but not the one I saw. The one I saw looked like a flashback to ep 2 from last season with dialog added, each one of them telling why they became cops, and Lori wasn't in it at all, might not mean a thing, but hoping. On the west coast it showed around 5 or 5:30pm

Great promo!!!! I do believe it means something for sure!! How can it not? They must know something we are not privy to as of yet. It gives me hope! Just a glimmer of hope but hope nonetheless!!!

I don't know if this is the same that Jschoi was talking about, but Plenkov tweeted a new promo, you can also go onto Youtube and put in the search, "New Hawaii five o four reasons" and it will come up. Lori is only in the scene when they are walking all together, otherwise its just the core 4. Four reasons to say "O". I don't know if its something that means anything, but Lori's absence does make you wonder. Unless they are still just playing with our heads.

I just saw a promo on tv, just a generic one as no new ep tonight. I featured Steve. Danny, Chin and Kono each very prominently and no Lori to be seen anywhere. Hope it means something.

@lena..everyone is saying it is katherine but man if that is her she looks completely different. I mean it is a bit blurry but not that much. I guess it makes sense. I am so happy if it is her cause steve needs some lovin!!!
I would not be happy if I were scotts GF. I did not know he had one. LG is no dummy apparently. If you are in with one of the leads of the show your job is probably safer.

@Lena....Yes, you are probably right. The sweeps ending dates for both February and May end on a Wednsday. I doubt they are going to show a new one when everyone else has ended. I remember, not too long ago when the network series would end in June, not May. Pretty soon it will be April. It all a money thing.
By the way, ladies, that is not Autumn Reeser in the 2.16 episode photo. Look her up on google. It definitely is not Gabby, Danny's new girlfriend, who I think had reddish/blond hair in the introduction. Its probably Michelle Borth in the picture and the picture is too far and with the change in her hair style it has thrown us off. Besides, Catherine is scheduled for this episode, and Autumn Reeser is suppose to make an appearance before the end of the season according to PLenkov, but he has not said when.

@Zia ....Last year the finale was aired May 16 so I expect the finale this year also half May.
@amazingalex.. I really hope it is Catherine and that Steve finally introduce her to the team It's about time and if so then she will stay dor good but the pic is a bit blurry it also could be Gabby Danny's Girlfriend in the serie.
About Scott dating Lauren I know Scott has a girlfriend who he is with for quit some time now she also works behind the scene's on H5O but I understand your thinking if I was his girlfriend I would not be happy that they hang out with each other so much! looks very weird and they always are together on pics and why have Lori her hand round his shoulder Ugh!!

It was written that Teilor Grubbs who plays Grace, was only scheduled to be in 2 episodes this season. So I guess a lot of what we get, even from CBS, can be changed. I'm glad to see Grace and Rachel back, 2 episodes in a row. I was wondering why they would leave them out of this one,(2.15) since it has to do with Danny's past.

I'm preparing for the fact she may stay. At least if they keep her role as last ep it would be tolerable. Wouldn't be happy but can't always have it my way.
Adding to what I said about GP leaving on her terms, that also goes for AOL, DDK and SC. the 4 of them are the heart of the show and would not be the same without them.

@zia...so we can blame scott for this mess?? ha ha!! I wish they would to but I am just telling myself she is staying so I am prepared. I cannot guarantee I will watch forever if she does but for now I am hanging in there. At least they are not going with the steve and lori romance like they originally intended. That would have guaranteed that I take the show off my dvr. So at least in some ways we are being heard.
I think the pic was posted by the guy who plays the new governor. That is what it said on the facebook page anyway.

@Amazingalex......"job security" LOL....I don't know about them dating, they look cozy. I read that Scott has a girlfriend, but who knows if thats true or if its still going on. I remember someone saying that he was the one who took her under his wing and they became friends, again who knows for sure. I just wish they would say she stays or goes, so we can all move on and/or adjust.
It looks as though the picture was taken with a phone camera.

@zia..it is hard to tell but to me she looks totally different. I dont know that a haircut would change her that much but it is possible the quality of the pic is throwing us off.
Hey I am as thrilled as you that katherine is back. I dont want him available for another female who seems to have her eyes on him. You know who I mean!:) And if that is katherine, to have her around his team means it is getting more serious. Woo hoo!! Well as serious as it can get with two people who's jobs leave them on opposite sides of the world most of the time.
Does anyone else think that LG and SC are dating in real life??? They seem awfully close in that pic!! Can you say job security?

@amazingalex......It's really hard to tell isn't it? I know she is only about 5'3", so the height looks right with her heels, same coloring. The picture is taken from far away so they could get everyone in. The haircut makes her look different. I guess we will see when 2.16 comes out. If it is, its nice to know Steve introduced her to the team. I hope this means she will continue as his girlfriend.

@Zia...I agree, different show different time, can't compare them.
@Chris...Kono is not going anywhere unless she decides to leave. Peter Lenkov is Canadian, Kono is Canadian and we Canadians stick together. That is the last I have to say on the subject of Lori/Kono. The decision has already been made and nothing we can do will change it, we will all find out at the same time. If she stays so be it, my life will not change.

According to Nielsen ratings, the sweeps dates for February and May are,
2/2/12 thru 2/29/12, and 4/26/12 thru 5/23/12. So you are right, Jschoi, we will get at least 8 more re-runs before the end of the season, starting with tonight's 2.2 re-run.
Thanks for looking that up about the original Kono. The original is a little ahead of me, but I do remember re-runs of the original, and I don't remember Kono only being on there for 4 yrs, but I was a kid. It was a different show and time, so its not going to be the same 30 yrs later, and I wish people would stop comparing.

If the season ends the 3rd mon in May, like if think it did last season, their are 18 weeks left in the season and 10 more eps, so lots of reruns to come.
The original H50 was way before my time but I looked it up and Kono was on for 4 years, so 2 more years at least.

On AOL Rocks they are saying that CBS tweeting James Caan will be in an episode in February is incorrect. He will be filming in February and more then likely the episode of 2.18 will not be shown in February. This is site is usually pretty reliable, and since they just started 2.16 on Friday, according to AOL rocks, then I guess we won't get 4 new ones in a row. I hate re-runs.
