@Walter.....There is a Army-Navy Academy in Carlsbad, California which is near San Diego. Its a college preparatory school. He was 16 so he was sent there because he is not old enough to go to the other academy. They also mentioned that he would only be a couple hours away from his sister, who was sent to Los Angeles, which is about 2 hrs from the Carlsbad/San Diego area.

@amazingalex: You're right, it did feel like a S1 episode again. We had Steve and Danny being friends and partners again, we had some humor, and we had Steve, Chin and Kono giving us some kick-ass action.
Joe said his piece yet again about everyone Steve cares about being in danger. I'm really hoping that this means we're going to see Wo Fat targetting a member of Steve's team - no guesses for who would be my prime candidate for getting taken out... but of course, this may be why they're bringing Catherine and Mary back for an episode each...

I enjoyed this epi very much. i guessed shelburne was joe all along so if he is telling the truth which I think he is then at least I got something right. I thought there was a great balance with the story and they made sure to pair steve and danny again. I think they are actually listening to the fans cause lori was in the background which is where she should be. It felt like season 1 in alot of ways and lori not acting like the leader and being in every scene gave it the old feel again. If they insist on keeping her then I can handle it if they keep it this way. Kono is the girl and I love that they had her inthe forefront again.
My only complaint was I could do without the subway sandwich commercial in the middle of what was a great epi. That scene should never have made it in the final cut. Other then that great epi. I personally will miss joe though.

@Jim - Congrats for the review, on most of the points I agree with you, although I'm not angry about the Shalburn matter, I'm rather happy it's over and finally we can move on.
It was good to see Kamekona again, it was good to see San Ming, it was good to see Kono in action instead of Lori :), it was good to see Adam Noshimori and finally it was good to see Alex in a better shape. It was a really good episode.

I'm sorry. I have lost all interest in the Wo Fat/Joe/Yakuza/Steve's Father story line. It makes no sense. In the flashback Steve says he's just beginning his junior year, so the flashback is the fall of 1992, so Steve graduates from high school June of 1994.At least we know Steve will be 36 this year. And what was this "Army-Navy Academy" that Uncle Joe got Steve in while still in high school? Kinda hard to play the annual Army-Navy football game with one team.

ok, i hope to hear Rachel tell danny that the baby is his, but she is not going to know yet! we an only hope
as for steve, i do not think that is the end of the issue with Joe, remember Joe has told Steve thinks he "Wants to Hear" which sometimes does not seem right. we just need to wait to see wha the rest of the season brings.
as for 2 weeks cold turkey, what is CBS thinking?????
@Hollz.....That's because we have another break again we get two weeks of repeats that means the show will be back February 6 with 2.15!

I totally loved this episode, (even though there were a few minor bumps), but the relationship between Danny and Rachel, (and Grace), in those hospital scenes was awesome. I can only hope for more! Plus, the bit about Danny's nose at the end, in relation to the baby, was hilarious...maybe a hint at what is to come...? *fangirl moment* OH - PLEASE SAY THE BABY IS REALLY HIS! XD
Anyway, the episode must have taken my fancy because like the past two episodes, (which I thought really dragged), this episode flew over and I wanted more! :D
Does anyone know what next weeks episode is called? I can't find anything on Wiki, and when I type season 2 episode 15 into google, it doesn't show any results about the episode name? THANKS!

I thank you JIM because thanks to you, I know why, I like Hawaii five o and I have thank God another brain to think and as long as this brain will work you always find "resentful" people, it’s not my word but you. I wish so much that she leaves even the end of season 2, you dont know how i wish, so thanks for us.
Thank you for this nice and brave recap.
ps : sorry for the first comment, it was such a shock to read you that I lost my words

Personally I'm not convinced that Joe was telling the truth about Shelburne. I think he may have said what he said just to try and throw Steve off the scent. After all, who did he talk to about moving them when he had Hiro in the trunk of the car a few episodes back? I can't believe they've cut the whole Shelburne thing off just like that.
It was good to have Steve and Danny back feeling like friends and partners again, even though Danny was at the hospital for most of the episode. For me, that feeling that they've got one another's backs has been missing for much of this season. Maybe now that Joe's gone we'll get some more of it.
My only comment on Lori is that she's more bearable when she stays in the van and doesn't try to run with weapons...

KONO works well with any member of the team, me not to say so many LORIE WESTON about it. And if for you not liked lorie is a crime and indeed I am guilty.
The next time when you will make a recap, try to include everybody. You speak constantly about Lorie because it deprives you that we do not like her, the last week kono was fantastic with steve (it’s not the only episode), were are you?
I had forgotten, lorie succeeded stopped 15-year-old kid, which exploit, the real warrior when it is a question of stopping children.

I grant it to you Jim. G, all this mystery around shelbourne to come there, it is disappointing but let us pass. As I said it, the intrigues around the season 1 were sharply better.
Let us speak about Rachel and about her baby, devil why make her come so that Dany attends his childbirth while the baby is not his. Let us pass, Peter LENKOV or the scriptwriters should be more coherent, but let us pass.
Then, I do not know if you are bitter or if it is the fact of seeing the reality opposite that hurts you, but why to use you the term "to hate" every time. It is not because we do not love somebody that we hate him. It is just that her character brings nothing and if at the end of 14 episode, it manages to express things and very fortunately. Shit since the beginning, which has made? You find her constantly gifts or qualities, it’s your rights but I see you to us not making so many eulogies on KONO who by far surpasses her.
