@ilovechair i myself love chair but don't say goodbye to the show just yet. we have to see this thru and believe that chair will be together again eventually. after blair's humphrey episode.
@Anonymous serena and chuck should not hook-up because i love them as brother and sister.
PS i actually liking the sort of ship wars because it just proves that the ratings doesn't reflect the love and passion that gossip girl fans have on the show.
here's hoping for the 6th and final season!!!cheers!!!

@Chair Fan Serena didn't go with either of them, she ended up with Ben, and only when he dumped her did she suddenly go back to Dan.
@lejla Yet Gossip Girl's lowest rated episodes had nothing to do with Dair.
@Dexter Idolizer Nate is just there to sleep with the next female guest star, he's got no real storyline of his own.
@question It's the writers' fault for dragging out this repetitive on/off relationship crap.
@Rosie The writers can only ruin characters and relationships, it's the actors that have to put actual effort into the show.
@Stephanie He didn't seclude her. Blair chose to run away with Dan when Serena was right there. Dan would have to sell Blair out for a book or almost punch her in a drunken stupor before he reaches that low.

The writers really screwed us chair fans over. To let Dan kiss Blair on Valentine's day in Chuck's room was just too much. After Blair told Chuck that she loves him more everyday she kisses Dan in Chuck's room. WTF? And all of a sudden she is in love with Dan? This I cannot believe and I seriously don't want to see a Dair kiss again. I've watched GG mainly because of Chair. They are the heart of the show. But right now they destroyed Blair's character so much, that I don't want Chuck to be with her. When I stop enjoying a show then I stop watching it. It's as simple as that. Maybe it's childish and immature to do that but I don't care. Dair being a couple is gross and I don't want to see that. I will always love Chair and I will always love Ed and Leighton's amazing onscreen chemistry! I'm done with this show. Goodbye GG!

All this because narrow-minded viewers, who are obsessed with a fake-tv show relationship, can't enjoy something different, something new.
If all you want is watching the two same characters over and over again, go on youtube and watch all the Chair tribute videos and stop coming here, insulting people who just wants to be entertained.

@anon Gossip Girl is no Pride and Prejudice, the writers can't even touch Jane Austen.
@GG writers sucks Chuck can only get better when he's not with Blair, he can only 'change' when she's not involved.
@bubumaelou Just dangle another 'nice guy' in front of Serena and she'll fall head over heels like she did last year.
@pty Gossip Girl and religion just doesn't mesh well together, which is part of the reason why it was so ridiculous of Blair to suddenly make a pact to God.

And while DAIR I don't believe carries the show, at least not by itself, it certainly is a catalyst for drama that stirs the pot just enough to keep the ship from sinking.
Is this why the writers have gone completely insane with the overblown plots this season?
Had they developed season 4 DAIR sans Louis, perhaps it wouldn't have been, while great and fun, the pot-stirer it is today. A natural progression from friendship into deep love? No no we can't have that. Let's bring Louis back and make this ship as crazy and overblown to really get the fandom going.

@jsd Except Beverly Hills 90210 had better storylines and didn't constantly ruin their characters and relationships.
@Amandine Tonight? She died when she turned into a pathetic, whiny, needy hoe with Louis and Chuck.
@pty The writers already ruined Derena when they made them step siblings.
@kavern Dan was at the wedding, he obviously knows she's married and so did Blair when she kissed him back.
Chuck and Blair didn't wait, Blair already cheated on Louis when they were engaged, she humiliated him at the altar in front of everyone.

This show will end, not by cancellation, but by finishing out the actors' contracts. The show already hit profitability once it hit its 100th episode, allowing for syndication. A season 6 will allow other networks to be shopped around and it'll end there.
It's rare when a show gets to 100 and then canceled. Even with Buffy, UPN picked it up. The WB recognized that when they canceled Angel, so, it's very very unlikely that whatever viewership decides to abandon GG, syndication will fund season 6 and it'll be done with.
I mean come on, why else reveal Gossip Girl? Granted, she's the "new" Gossip Girl, but it's indication that a planned series finale is in the works and coming by end of season 6.

@question Dair has been jerked around so much (ex. Louis storyline pushing them aside for the stupid love triangle), this is the 1st time they've actually shown a real, 2-sided kiss.
@Alex Yes, at least Pretty Little Liars actually has a mystery going, the characters actually have a life besides a stupid back/forth relationship that's constantly ruined by writers.

Blair isn't herself right now and if she knew everything Dan has been doing she wouldn't see him as a good guy. He will also cause her mother to lose and her to lose everything this isn't a root able couple and it won't end well for them.
Blair will eventually come back to being her true self and will than will go back to Chuck who I hope she has to fight for after she has hurt him and Serena.
Dan's past deeds will come back to haunt him and he will end up alone

@ Dair for ever : amen to that !! Im not a chair shipper at all but I could appreciate their scenes together at some point. But to me something was always missing ...realism maybe I don't know !
But in last night episode...how Blair realized her love for Dan while quoting all the reasons Serena should love him, the change in her voice, in her look, the perceptible envy of Dan looking at her, it was epic ! Loved it!!

But the most entairtaining is that chair fans are accusing Blair about what she ''did'' to Serena.

I thought GG viewers, irrespective of whichever ship, were romantics at heart. And Chair supporters - You see this awesome kiss, the obvious love, respect, caring and passion between Dair, and you are so hell bent on yesterday’s news i.e. Chair, that you cannot appreciate the intensity and romance that is alive between Dair? Shame on you…
I hope the writers never kowtow to this inane need for Chair endgame and I hope they listen to the increasing demand for Dair as end game…
Dair is the stuff that romance and love and companionship are made of…we need more of that in this world please…
Less of the self-harming, hedonistic, full of one-upmanship relationships like Chair was and more of this steadfast, caring, loving, mutually sustaining, deeply passionate relationship that Dair IS.

Dair is the ONLY good thing about this show right now! Besides Dorota, Harold, and Cyrus. I'm so glad the writers are finally giving us the FUN factor! They weren't threatened by crazy fans and took a real risk! And it's really paying off!!!

@S Serena understands that dan is into blair but what she doesn't get is blair since blair hasn't clearly said that she likes dan. what serena knows is that blair wants chuck and then she saw blair and dan kissing that's why she's mad at blair. plus, i think in this episode serena was trying to avoid dan but it was blair who pushed her towards dan then saw them kissing.
