@Meep and @this.is.she Why not? The writers are trying to put Dan/Serena together and they're half-siblings no matter how much the writers want to try and forget that. Let's throw Chuck/Serena into the mix too.
@Dany Yeah, the ruined their relationship since they put Lily/Rufus together and found out they share a half brother, Scott, not to mention Serena leading both Nate and Dan on and ended up with Ben last season.
