Of course people would be complaining... I don't understand why it is so hard to like Dair. I liked Chair before and Serenate and now they are over but it doesn't mean I get obssessively angry. It's a show, a very bad one most of the time, but still a show. And the way I see it, Dair is a storyline that needed to be explored to add another level of drama. Just enjoy the ride. I know people have different opinions but I really just don't get how you can hate Dair with a passion. I can understand dislike but those two look nothing short but adorable and happy with each other. If it were a bad couple with no chemistry I would get it but Penn and Leighton seriously bring it to the screen. You can see that they enjoy playing those scenes. And that kiss was wonderful!!!

Anonymous stop insulting all of us by saying we're immature. I don't understand why you're sitting here reading our "whiny" comments and responding to each and every one of them. It really doesn't make sense to me.
And the Serena thing! I don't know, can Serena really be the new Gossip Girl? Its not very interesting to me to be honest. That idea has become a little repetitive this season. Though I must admit its my own personal bias because I'm admittedly addicted to Chuck's story-lines most of the time. I can't wait to see him do something or hear him speak. He's such a bipolar character, you don't never know what to expect.

@Lame Blame the writers, they've piled on obstacles on them that were permanently damaging and they never let them recover.
Chuck sleeping around won't solve anything, except maybe he'll finally move on.

@db Blame the writers for making it revolve around relationship drama. That's why we're left with people like Where's Waldorf and V.

And here it is, the episode that destroyed the best relationship on televison (according to me). I'm also really disappointed with how they did it and I dont want Chuck-Blair to be end-game after this, it's dead after this.
I have my fingers crossed for Serena going after Chuck as revenge and that Chuck seduces Jenny one more time :)

@Where's Waldorf Well, seeing as how you're the one throwing a tantrum over your precious relationship, it's kind of obvious.

can we all stop arguing about chair, dair, terrible writing etc. Let's talk about the other possible twist the episode gave us. Like how serena will possibly be the new gossip girl, the fact the G might have included the secret about lola's real father, what could G want in return from blair.the episode gave us a lot to look forward to come april 2

@V It's been declining in Season 6.
It's not the displeasure part, it's fans whining and throwing a tantrum when something doesn't go their way, that's why people call them immature.
@chucks girl Blair was already a weakling when she was traded for a hotel and almost got punched in the face. She has no self respect for herself and is just a pathetic, weak-willed person, it's sad.

Lets discuss Jack and Diana. That's going to work well as something that leads into the next season. I'm intrigued! Honestly if Gossip Girl ends next season I won't mind as long as Chuck and Blair are together by the end. I liked what BetteMary said about Chair being unique and not a copy of another show. This weeks episode had little hints that suggested that we give Chair some time, and that things change so you don't know how long Dair can last really anyway. I really hope I'm not the only person who thinks Chair still have a shot. Also, I kind of sympathized with Ivy this episode. The writers actually found a way to make her be able to stay as a permanent character. She's now rich and she was deeply connected to someone rich. It really is the only way to stay on this show.

@BetteMary They're not only ruining the relationships, they're ruining the characters.
@V It's not your place to tell me what to do. I was just encouraging the people who are threatening to leave in the 1st place.
@Where's Waldorf I'm not instructing them.
Look at the comments, it's Chair fans whining and having meltdowns because things aren't going their way.
Chuck did cheat on Blair, you might not think so, but it's cheating. He tried to propose to Blair after this too.
Not only did he stand her up, but she needed someone he flat out turned her down.
Season 4 ending was not bittersweet, it was the start of Blair cheating on Louis and starting all of the unnecessary drama in Season 5.
At least other Chair fans have actually put forth explanations instead of dismissing everything they don't agree with.
@Jarrod Mitchell It's hypocrisy, the fans just don't like it when things don't go their way.

I like Dair as friends that's all. Them together I find gross. I am sorry but there scenes together doesn't do anything for me. It doesn't even seam real. I think that if they were going to bring them together they should have waited until Blair was single and done with Chuck for good. C'mon she use to be Queen B now her character is a "weakling" like GG said on graduation.
V
February 28th, 2012 9:48 AM
@ Where's Waldorf You got that right. I don't understand why people should be curtailed from airing their displeasure over a show gone sour especially since some of them (like you and I) still intend to keep watching the show. The simple fact there was a dip during the second half of the show makes it quite obvious some fans of the show quit watching without needing instructions from anyone. Why this anonymous character feels like its opinion matters is beyond me.

I honestly don't understand how people are calling Blair a "slut" and "bad friend to Serena" when the show began with the drama of Serena sleeping with Nate and taking his virginity. I don't wanna hear the excuse "they were both drunk", because "drunk" can accommodate for ALL of the horrible mistakes Chuck Bass has made.
Blair CONSIDERED Nate her soulmate when she was with him in season one and even when they briefly got back together at the end of season two. Nate and Blair were even considering marriage at one stage. Serena has gone back and fourth with Dan that's it gotten as worse as Blair and Chuck.
Let's not forget that Serena had more than half a season relationship with Nate back in season 3 and that she got with Nate's cousin WHO was married at the time. So I don't see how you can all judge Blair on her actions when MAJORITY of these characters are filled with flaws.
@Anonymous: Read more carefully. I wrote I won’t stop watching GG because there are reasons to continue.
I loved Chair because they were unique (and not a copy of a couple of another show) and I’m sad they killed them off. I also don’t want Chair to get back together now. I do realize they’re over.
I’m just writing my opinion, like everyone else here. Did I write GG is bullshit? I did NOT. I don’t like Dair but i won’t stop watching because of them. I’ve been annoyed of charcters or couples in other shows too, but still watched them.
God, people please grow up.
I just realized this show can’t be about shipping couples b/c no GG relationships is going to last.
From now on, I will watch the show because of the characters I love.

@V I know ! I don't understand why this person is even commenting. The people that comment here clearly just want to keep watching and discussing. If they don't, they leave one comment saying its over for them and never comment again. No one needs you to instruct them?
Where's Waldorf
February 28th, 2012 9:33 AM
I'm whining because I wish people would stop pressuring the writers to keep Dair because its new and "sweet".
First of all Chuck did not cheat on Blair with Jenny. Blair had made it clear to Chuck that she didn't love him at that point. He was reasonably miserable and lost.
Second of all, I was talking about the romantic moments, not the sad ones. In season 1, the fire was redeveloped in a really romantic moment in the finale and even if Chuck stood her up, the ground was set for Chair to continue in the next season. Even the bittersweet ending to the season 4 finale left us wanting more Chair.
I can see quite a lot of criticism towards Chuck considering we have been on the journey with him all along and we know why he is the way he is. He isn't a monster deep down, its his self-esteem that is his core problem.

@Anonymous Once again I still say it is not your place to instruct fans who are upset and decide to voice it on a social network to quit watching the show just because you consider it whinny! I think you have a problem if you feel self important enough to tell people you don't know to quit watching a show from the blanket of your anonymity. Wait for your kids (if/when u do have them) to whine about something then throw them out of the house cos you don't want to hear it but as far as this forum is concerned, air your views and let others do same cos the same way you find some of them irritating is the same way they may find you irritating. Live and let live!

@Dina, @chrissy2911, and @Bronte Abell Then stop watching the show and drop it.
@Where's Waldorf You just said it was temporary, why are you whining, then?
Everyone has baggage, by that logic no one would be able to get together because of their pasts.
Gossip Girl was supposed to be about the 'scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite' but turning it into a relationship drama wrecked the show in Season 3 and it's only gotten worse because of it.
They don't care about viewers, they don't even care bout the fans.
@Madeleine and @toohip If anything it's the writers pissing off Chair fans.
