Look guys, just because you're telling me the writers said it and when they said it doesn't prove they said it. I want a tweet, I want a quote. You have no proof. I liked Dair and Duck friendships. They were fun and they were able to discuss culture which matches the whole New York setting.

I think what they are trying to do is show the Characters grwoing up, so in that regard you are not going to get the same drama. Shows change just the way it is.

This is just a TV show, so the convoluted stuff is plausible to some extent. They will explore all sorts of stuff and it will get incestuous. Big deal they paired Blair and Dan together I think it's kinda cute but I do think Chuck and Blair are end game but for the mean while sit down _/ and enjoy 'Dair'
Plus yes the characters have changed, when it first started out they were 15/16. As you grow older you change, it's pretty much a fact of life. So naturally the characters will change too they're 21 now? It makes sense.
So stop making a big deal out of it.
If you don't like it simply don't watch..
On another thing who the hell is Diana? Jack rang Diana but Lily said Jack gave the blood transfusion? And her photo was in the file from the VDW safe.

Sorry but Gossip Girl isn't about watching "sweet" people. Its also not about watching awkward sex. There are some things about this show you just shouldn't compromise to bring new ideas to viewers.
'Anonymous' is going to tell me to stop watching. Well I'm not going to stop watching! The drama is perfect and entertaining this season in general. I liked seeing Dan and Chuck become friends too! Dair cannot possibly last longer than this season so I'm willing to see past them.
What I am hoping is that people stop using the argument that Dair is good because its different and new to make the writers want to keep them! Who cares about that when the show stops becoming sexy, dark and wild. I don't want to watch Blair crying on Dan's shoulder. I want to see her doing take downs and seducing Chuck. Sorry if that's old news to you, but at least it sticks to what Gossip Girl is about.

@Simona Saying 'I love you' is meaningless, the same goes for Blair and her supposed proclamation of love.
@kavern I guess it's because they're half-siblings thanks to the writers.
@Jay The video was absolutely pointless and Chair fans were chanting the end of them too.

@dmkb They don't care about ratings, the CW might force another season on us.

the line he said "say it again" was that not the same line when Chuck told Blair I love you??? That is what I thought of when they showed that and @ soso made me think of that. Pretty lame if you ask me how they did that one.

I can no longer watch GG due to this stupid relationship. DAIR disgusts me, I cannot even look at them anymore so I am saying goodbye to GG until they fix this huge mistake. And it is a mistake. CHAIR forever

Please explain and give proof of how Dair have been planned since season 1? Because they bonded over both having bad mothers in episode 4? Dan did that for Serena's sake. They only ever bond over something to do with Serena. That's how they began in the first place.
They have too much baggage from their exes and its not light baggage that comes from exes like Olivia or Marcus. Serena and Chuck consider Dan and Blair the loves of their lives. That can't just float around in the past?

Wow just because there was "a say it again" line it does not mean Dair is a pale copy of Chair ...ugh it hurt me to write that ! Dair is all different and toi me like a new refrshing breeze on the UES! There is nothing newxyou can bring to Chair, so maybe the writers will reunite them at the end to please a certain 55% majority. But in the meantime im so enjoying Dan and Blair as the sweetest relationship this show has ever had. These 2 brunettes together are just too much !
But def, the writers need to give volume and consistent content to the other characters /storylines ...and despite the bad writing in last night episode, it throwed a lot of good intrigues ahead ...jack bass return ? Lily taking shelter in Brooklyn ? Serena's family new scandal ?
Im looking forward for next episodes, and of course for more Dair hilarious and cute moments, as the preview suggest!
