@k Blair's words are meaningless. The writers are just making things up as they go along. They've ruined Chuck and Blair and every episode, they've twisted the knife deeper and deeper, especially with Blair's comments at the end of the episode.

@DairDreamer It's Seth/Summer from The OC, even their positions in bed are the same from the promo.

I'm sorry, but wasn't it a few weeks ago that Blair was telling Chuck she was so in love with him and loved him more and more everyday. And before the winter break about to run away with him? I find it hard to believe that the strong feelings that never went away with Blair for chuck just disappeared within a week. Dan and Blair will never have the amazing chemistry of Chuck and Blair.

Seriously, in my mind... this show ended when Blair and Chuck escaped together in that limo, they crushed and both died.
I can't believe the piece of shit it has become. Over it. Not watching it again... and i was a HUGE GG fan, huge.

so glad Blair told Chuck straight out she wasn't in love with him anymore. now Chair are officially over. Blair was in the wrong for dragging it out so long. but it's easy to forget that all of them are supposed to be 20-21, in their 3rd year of college. usually people are more confused than ever about their feelings at that age especially when they've had a long back n forth history with someone.
i *knew* the writers were going to do the horrible sex storyline with Dair too! (someone else posted this). i remember they did this on another teen show. (Dawsons? One Tree Hill? OC?) one of those. can't wait for the all the awkward funny moments. can Nate have a storyline already?

@Ace Yeah, they're too incompetent to pull it off properly.

Love Dair!!! Still want Chair to be endgame, but I still love Dan and Blair's relationship and chemistry. As for Ivy, she is a bitch just like her fake mother. I love Late (Nate and Lola), but I want Lola to get close to the van der Woodsens, or at least Chuck, Dan and Blair. I pity Chuck, but he needs to grow and have other storylines besides Blair. Also, I wanna c how Lily reacts to the fact that Lola is her stepdaughter as well as her niece.

@nuala cardena
I'd support a spin-off, but it's production staff would need to be overhauled in the most extreme ways. Safran and co. have proven themselves incapable of sustaining any kind of semblance to character development.
It's one cheap lazy plot device after another....

"At least with a sit com, the plot holes wouldn't be so glaring" I honestly couldn't hold in my laughter at that one.

@nuala cardena Gossip Girl threw out logic and development out the window since Season 3.
A spin off would be nice, it would certainly be better than this show.

@BlairlovesBass No clue, nothing about her is genuine. She can say 'I love you' as many times as she wants, it still sounds as hollow and empty as it did tonight.

I agree with kaye ellison. Just spin off a sit com with Dan and Blair. At least with a sit com, the plot holes wouldn't be so glaring. Everything will be tongue in cheek. We expect logic and plot development from this show because it pretends to be a drama, so we expect it to at least approximate real life,

@Penngetaf'inhaircut You might as well have Chuck and Serena.
There seems to be way more obstacles along the way.

So opposed to Dan and Blair. I mean practically everyone has slept with everyone. U might as well have Serena n Chuck do it since he was trying to all through season 1. That would be awesome! But I am sure this whole sex thing will bring conflict to either break them up or move on n wait for the actual obstacle that is suppose to end it.

I'm telling you, they're going to get renewed. They have the television economics on their side, regardless of their decling performance. They'll axe all the other poor showings like Hart of Dixie before they even turn to Gossip Girl.

@Georgie Girl The writers don't care about ratings, they're even considering renewing this for another season for some undeserved reason.
It deserves to be dropped for its' terrible writing, this show shouldn't revolve around relationship drama.
