It's not just about endgame. If Chuck and Blair are going to be together, they should also have time for relationship development. Clearly that's not going to happen if their storylines are consumed with swapping partners.
Georgina is floundering as Gossip Girl.
Ivy was the best thing about this episode though it didn't seem that she cared too much about being revealed as an imposter.
Blair is showing low confidence, consistent weakness and indecisiveness on major life issues. These are character traits that should decrease with increased maturity.
There is a major difference between a fiance and a husband. Despite the unfortunate circumstances of Princess B's nuptials, the sanctity of marriage should still be respected. Chair fans weren't rooting for Blair to cheat on Louis while she was engaged; We wanted her to make an honest decision to end it because of her feelings for Chuck.
I don't want Chuck and Blair to be together while she's married. I would think that diar fans wouldn't want to doom their ship either. They're not in isn't high school anymore. She should make a decision

I can't believe they actually did a proper "Dair" kiss. It was mutual and honest and sweet. And I can't believe I liked it. I'm a Chair shipper all the way, but they've actually done a really good job developing Dair. I say give it a chance. Who knows where this is going to go? And I think Derena is out of the question because their related by marriage. Yeah, there's no consanguinity, but still, they're step-siblings. Upper East Siders do not inbreed like that, do they?

@ Coriander : I didn't mean to offend you but I admit I use some stereotypes that are just the consequence of my analysis of the different comments on GG boards, forum, youtube... And I came to the fact that DAIR shippers seem on average older than Chair shippers. It's just an average that makes me generalize, and of course it doesn't mean that there are no mature Chair shippers or Dair lovers kids.

Someone said half the chair fanbase has jumped on the diar wagon,rrrrrrrrriiiight?If 52t plus on facebook(chair fans) alone and 1tplus (dair fans)is half then I don't know anymore,I just wish the writers would have let chuck move on but instead they have blair get in the way and have her profess her love for him over and over.

@Lila Why being so prejudicial with chair fans? Looks like a lot of dair shippers have those pride issues: "we are so smart, which is why we are shipping dair."
I used to be a solid chair shipper until mid-season three. Then I stopped liking what the writers did to the characters. I hoped they would explain somehow their mistakes or give the characters a chance to work them out but they never did - they started a new couple - a new ship. I don't exactly know why, but I am just not into Dair. I'm not a teen or pre-teen; I don't listen to Justin Bieber, and can't call myself immature or unintelligent. I see the chemistry between Dair onscreen, but I don't want to root for them. There is just something missing in this relationship - something that made me want to root for chair in the past. And don't even start with abusive relationships because that's not it.
@pty and dont forget blair is now using him as a rebound and as a last resort.

listen i love chair but the truth is even though chuck has made terrible things in the past he has done a lot of growing up and gone to therapy faced his demons only to find that the girl he has fought for is bringing out the old self he has tried to move past.. chuck and blair should be end game. but blair is so off character and.. i dont think im liking her much..
Second of all, people can change and i don't want blair to be with the old chuck. i want her to be the new chuck the one thats changed and trying to become a better person.

@ Lila: Why would anyone want Dan with a woman who: ignored him before he started dating her BFF, was a dictator with her fellow classmates, specially girls, during most of high school, was willing to reclute his sister as one of said servant girls and teach his sister how to be one of the members of her corrupt world, was willing to throw under a bus said sister more than once and for several reasons raging from high school pettyness to jeaulosy and willing to manipulate both him and his father to achieve that goal if necessary, mocked him constantly while he was dating her BFF and afterwards, fought him ruthlessly a couple of times, was willing to put him down in front of whomever was listening, has called him names like Donut, Toe and Labrador, has pushed him in public to the ground more than once, has used him as his bus boy even after the were officialy friends and throwed a fit over his book without actually finishing it?

No, Dan would've ended up with Vanessa if that were the case.
It's the same tortured soul stuff with a tragic past, and how the girl wants this dark, mysterious person and how she can change him.
Chair is a lot like Twilight, especially with the whole love triangle angle.
They constantly spout out every cheesy romantic fantasy lines at each other when they're proclaiming their love.
1 of them is constantly making excuses for why it's dangerous to be together and why they shouldn't be together while the other 1 is constantly pining for the other 1 and it goes repetitively goes back and forth between each other.
"Oh please, it's the same old, cliche girl meets 'mysterious/bad' boy and the girl believes that she can change his tortured soul."
and oh plz it's the same old cliche with dair trying to make them look like seth and summer from The O.C. but failing .Dan and blair setting around eating pizza together and watching old romance movies together having no sexual chemistry(reminds me of dawson and joey when they watched movies together)there is nothing really special about dair because these things dan could do with vannesa and thats why he's falling for blair its only because of blair intellectual side. he's trying to replace vannesa with blair.
