Chair are so boring. i really liked them at first, but after 5 series of ridiculous obstacles, it's just dull.
i quite like dair, they're a lot more believable and realistic

@BetteMary Blair was already pathetic in Season 3 when the writers reduced her into a whiny, pathetic, drama inducing headache.
@Chiara They don't understand, that's why the writing is so terrible and they're so incompetent that they have to pile on ridiculous storylines 1 after another.
@tarra I wouldn't be surprised, the writers are terrible, all they do is ruin characters and relationships.
@ggfans They're a bunch of hypocrites, they'll keep quiet once the writers feed them scraps of shipper scenes, it's kind of pathetic really.

It really annoys me that this whole show has come down to who's dating who. Will Blair pick Chuck, Louis, or Dan? Will Dan return Serena's love? Will Nate date whoever? etc etc. What happened to when Blair wanted to become an influencial woman (back when she was in college)? And Dan's writing only comes up as a plot point to his relationships.
I really liked the changes Chuck made in his life and how he was acting so its disappointing to see him return to his evil ways. This show has really gotten so disappointing this year because its got character bipolar syndrome. All the characters completely change their personalities from episode to episode where in earlier seasons they remained in character unless there was a legit reasons for their change.
It will be interesting to see Lily living in Brooklyn but I somehow doubt she'll stay for long. Her former stepson owns a classy hotel if all else fails!

DAIR has amazing chemistry. Four months now, I have had to endure the same boring love conversations b/w Chuck and Blair. If they really loved each other passionately, they wouldn't be able to stay apart. Their chemistry faded substantially for me over the past 2 seasons. I love DAIR and think that there are hot and steamy scenes ahead.

did anyone notice that the final dan and blair scene was mirroring the chuck and blair scene where chuck finally said I love you in season 2. Blair finally said "Dan" and he kept saying "say it again, again, again" JUST Like when Blair was asking just to "say it again, again, again" when Chuck said I love you......sad that Dair can't get their own unique scenes and they have to rip off the Chair scenes

They don't LOOK good together like Seth and Summer did. This is Gossip Girl anyway, not the O.C. I don't think they suddenly suit each other because a bitch and a loser got together and had bad sex like Seth and Summer.
I think Chair and Derena are more of a reflection of the types of relationships that would happen on the Upper East side, which is why they went on for seasons, whether they were off or on.

Dair is boring. They will be over before season 5 ends. Because by then we will realize just how forced and boring and they are. They don't actually have much in common, if you notice it has always been Dan COPING with Blair's ways. Well, pretty soon it will be snooze and snore, enjoy Dair while it lasts. p/s i know it's trivial but Dan is too ugly for Blair, even for Serena. Maybe a match for Vanessa or Georgina. haha. might be just me. peace :p

I loved The O.C. back in the day but I wouldn't want that the TV couple of another show tried to copy the magic of Seth and Summer or Ryan and Marissa. Each of those couples had its own magic and try to force it on another couple just doesn't make sense to me. To each their own, obviously GG writers think this makes sense, not that their logic is normal in any way.
