NCIS: Heading to Florida For Palmer's Wedding!

Jimmy Palmer’s much-awaited nuptials now have a destination on NCIS: Florida!

“Breena’s character is from Florida, so the plan is to have this wedding in Florida,” NCIS executive producer and show-runner Gary Glasberg reveals to EW. “The whole team will, in theory, all head down for that."

"At the same time," he says of Palmer's wedding, which has been teased here and there since "Newborn King" in December, "there will be some significant stuff back in D.C. It’ll be a juggling act between the two.”

Still in the process of being written, the ninth season finale this May will pit the team against a “unique” adversary that will challenge the team in a way we haven’t seen before, Glasberg adds.

”[This episode] will be a little bit different because it’s going to be more focused on the Navy and more about the fleet. Someone’s targeting Navy ships,” he says. “I like to pull things back periodically."

"I don’t want to forget that NCIS is a Navy-related show. I know that that’s important to our military overseas and a lot of our viewers. I think they’ll enjoy this sort of twist in the storyline.”

Details remain scarce, but he goes on to say, “There’s some danger involved and we’ll have to see where that puts our team. There’ll be a cliffhanger and we’ll see what’s left when we come back.”

Tony: One other question, I know you're an expert in English history. And I was just wondering, have you ever heard of Archibald Drummond, the 17th Earl of Trent?
Ducky: The Earl of Trent. No, I can't say I have. Why?
Tony: I was just wondering. Thanks.

[voiceover] Anyone can achieve their fullest potential, who we are might be predetermined, but the path we follow is always of our own choosing. We should never allow our fears or the expectations of others to set the frontiers of our destiny. Your destiny can't be changed but, it can be challenged. Every man is born as many men and dies as a single one.
