Gossip Girl Promo: "It Girl, Interrupted"

by at . Comments

Gossip Girl kicked off its spring run Monday with an episode that wasn't too exciting, but set plenty of storylines in motion. Follow this link to read our official Gossip Girl review and sound off on the events of "Con Heir."

Looking head to our next chapter, it seems like things are going to get interesting as:

  • Serena decides she is ready to relinquish the spotlight and sets out to make a reluctant Lola the next “It Girl” of the Upper East Side, starting with modeling at a Kiki de Montparnasse lingerie show.
  • Diana's return to The Spectator ignites a power struggle with Nate.
  • Chuck reaches out to Blair, of all people, for advice about his past.

Here's a look at the promo for next week's episode, "It Girl, Interrupted" ...

The van der woodsen drama is the only thing that's actually close to the real gossip girl with the scheming and power. the rest is just a delusion created by the desperate writers of the show running out of real creative juice so they decide to try to mess up with some of the elements (cos its the only way they can live with their personal goals). change is ok but a lot of shows do change some elements of the plot without messing up the dynamics of what makes a show, THE SHOW.
Pretty little liars for example. they strayed from the book but did not mess up the dynamics of the characters and the plot. of course theyd tell you its growth but the only thing i see growing in this is the loss of interest among the viewers. i feel like they went to the wrong direction with this show after season 2. they only brought gossip girl recently back. technically, the episode prior to december were barely about gossip girl yet they still call the show gossip girl. LMAO

Isn't it sad that if they aren't posts about either Chair or Dair, there are just a few comments? Or is it just my impression?
By the way, I guess that all this Van der Woodsen's storyline is the only reason why I can watch Gossip Girl. I really like Lola's character, and mostly, I love the drama she and Ivy bring. That's what actually spices up the whole show. I also think that it is almost the only storyline that is true to what Gossip Girl was before: twists, drama and scheming! Not just Blair's relationships with men! I mean, I really like Blair, but now she is too whiny, in my opinion. She needs to find herself again, preferably by being alone, in order to become the powerful woman she wanted to be!

LOL come now dair fans.. i love them too... but we just got one WHOLE episode on them... GG writers do need to focus on other characters... we'll see more of dair soon no doubt. Chuck needs to focus on his present and future... get him out of the past and into Eva's arms (coughcough)
