haha, yeah right! Serena and Dan was over when she lied to him about cheating instead of telling him the truth.
Blair and Chuck was over when he traded her and definitely over when he slept with Jenny and a day later was about to propose to Blair. The funny thing is most of you Chair fans miss season 1 Blair, but I know that season 1 Blair would have never forgive Chuck for that trade thing he did in season 3. But I guess she could because apparently she forgave that spineless wimp for comparing her to his father's horse and that he stood her up on their trip to Tuscany. Makes you think, doesn't it?

I do not know why you watch the series, each of us is looking at the different reasons, not all the same. Evolution and change yes if that was season 3, not the end of season 5. It will probably take another season, which will be the final. It is not now time for a change in the series. You do not need to re-look at what's already happened. It is time to end the series as the audience wants: Serena and Dan, and Chuck and Blair together!

For God's sake give it up already. If everyone ended up with the same person that they started out with I'll be the one wondering why the hell I've been watching a show for 5 seasons. Its called evolution and change is a good thing. No one stays the same forever and whats important to people also changes. Who cares if they're opposites. I cannot believe you people want to watch the same repetitive storylines over and over!!

I think that Blair and Dan really lack of spontaneity when they're together, it doesn't feel natural... Blair sounds so different, and so not her. I like them as friends, especially when they were a bit mean to each other, it was really funny, but I think as a couple, they have a total lack of chemistry. There is no passion between them. I'm not a Chair shipper either, I just wish Blair who is supposed to be a strong career woman, could learn how to exist by herself, not always through men. It's like Blair became Serena, and Serena became Blair. Weird.

Do not talk nonsense. Suddenly Dan and Blair are the best couple in the series? But did not! When did you start watching the series, looks from season 5! Play a little over the past 4.5 seasons so you will realize how much Dan and Blair are the opposite. All the sex scenes between Serena and Dan, and between Chuck and Blair are 100 times better than this between Dan and Blair!

You are right. I agree with you. But the producer said last week that Dan and Blair are a couple that will end at the end of the series together. I am a big fan of Serena and Dan, and makes no sense to watch the series when the producer told in advance how it will end!

You are all right. Dan and Blair should be friends first, because of their contradiction, incompatibility and hatred are not the basis of being lovers. During the five seasons they are more hated to finish together. In addition to all Blair's single drove Dan's sister - Jenny and cheated Rufus several times. They just do not need to be together! Series should be completed to be together: Serena and Dan, Chuck and Blair and Nate and Jenny or Charlotte. Thus it only fair to the audience who watching the series for 5 seasons!

It's funny with this moronic Chair fans, before this episode I could predict comments/words like these from you: Forced, no chemistry, awkward, Dan's a douche, they are better as friends, Blair is OCC, Blair and Dan hated each other for 3 seasons. And I predict that these comments/words will come up again after the next episode, no brainer there.

This episode was absolutely brilliant...dair are beautiful, funny, hot, and sexy as hell. Pure entertainment. dair is here to stay.. move on furious chair fans...or enjoy the ride like everybody else. It is just a show after all.

You're wrong. Blame the sex between Nate and Serena in a 1 season is only Nate. Nate used drunk Serena. Nate was first supposed to break with Blair, and then flies to her best friend. So it was Blair why left him. To this I add more, in the 100 episode we watched the scene when Serena says to love Dan. This is exactly the same scene in one episode when Blair declares love to Nate. Both gave the same answer - they were silent! Much of the copy 1, 2 and 3 of the season!

I've been reading comments since I didn't want to watch a DAIR episode. But since so many DAIR fans said the elevator scene was amazing, I watched the clip...sadly it was as horrible and lifeless as other commenters said. DAIR have no chemistry and are boring to watch.ugh......

I really enjoy Dan and Blair as friends, but I simply don't understand why one opposite sex couple on the show couldn't simply remain friends. It was refreshing! Making them a couple seems so forced and out of place given the events of the beginning and middle of the season. Last night's episode did not do the relationship any favors unfortunately. Big sigh. I genuinely liked them as friends and enjoyed watching their friendship grow. Having a platonic relationship between two opposite sex adults on a show was nice and so uncommon on a show like this. I guess that is why it couldn't last.

Bottom line: Dan and Blair as a couple are totally boring. As friends, they were adorable. The writers need to realize that we've waited for years for Chuck and Blair to finally be together. And we want them to be the real Blair and Chuck, Chuck and Blair .... Not the lifeless drones they've turned the characters into this season.

GG is nothing without Chair which is why this season is so low in ratings. With Dair as a couple? The ratings will only keep going down. The elevator sex scene was cheap, uncharactersitic of both of them, made no sense and was excruciating to watch. It's so obvious how awkward the scene was. The writers have really cheapen Blair.

I still cant get over EP 5x17 how they completely ripped 2x25 from us by switching a few lines, disrespect to a whole new level but as much as i would love to bitch about it i have to move on. But for people to actually try and bring 1x07 as a topic against chair fans is just stupid. Im so sick of hearing dair fans say " 4 years in the making, okay thats cool bro. WE OUR 5 YEARS HAPPENING ? " Like our you dair fans really gonna feel that same way when blair cheats on dan with chuck just like she has for every other guy? Do you really wanna see a replay of season 2 were blair thinks she wants the other guy (nate) and she returns to chuck 3-4 episodes later? I love what they are doing with it. The show always gets better right before the season ends...However have you guys forgotten what Serena did to Blair in Season 1 with Nate...Um Hello!!! how is what Blair is doing so much more wrong? if I may say, B and Lonely are drunk just like Serena and Nate were so S has no reason to get angry at that. i think Serena is getting exactly what she deserves..oh poor Serena lol. As for the other things going down, it will probably work out that Diana Payne was the one that gave Chuck blood and that she is actually his real mother...a little stretch but i am sure it will work out that way. Lola, needs to find out the truth and fast or this Ivy chick is really going to take them for a ride...she is an actress after all, she has many "faces".

I agree with most of the comments - theres a forced chemistry between Blair & Dan & what a turnabout...totally in love with 1 man, marries another, gives up on her love & is automatically in love with someone else (knowing it hurts her best friend in the process). What makes all these guys so crazy about Blair - with her manipulating she seems to bring out the worst in a man. What I would like to see is Chuck somehow forging a relationship with Jenny Humphrey, thus bringing a jealous Blair running only for her to bear the brunt of her own callousness. I hope the GG writers will catch a wake-up, the plots are becoming more & more contrived & in true soapie fashion the heroine cannot be happy but has to sleep with every male on the show...please let's have some morality & class.

If it's unwatchable then you have your solution - don't watch!!! That's not rocket science. Look if you are going to bash Dair at least have a reasoned, sensible point instead of the usual pointless, irrelevant rants. Who cares whether Blair was drunk in the limo scene or not. Fact of the matter is Dair is happening so suck it up. The nastiness is just tiresome. Why can't you just take the show as it comes. I like all the characters and find Dair sweet and funny and found Chair intense and passionate and appreciate both. As long as all the characters end up in a happy place when the show finishes I don't care who ends up with whom!
