I know Jessica is sweet we are all lucky to be able to watch But Jessica is way better than beyonce and adele and kelly clarkson she even better than michael Jackson she's just that good i would pay 5,000 a ticket to see her and I think she maybe the first female president of the US we love her my life is Jessica god family life win it all

I agree that Phillip cannot really sing, well not at this level anyway & poor Skylar...she did try but appeared to be doing it with a struggle most of the time, quite unlike Jessica who is on a different planet of course.

I forgot about that week they had said he had gone to the hospital. That really explains so much about him the past couple weeks because he has not had his usual umph you know? I still think he deserves to win. He is the only one different from the others in the group and I personally wouldn't buy Hollie Joshua or Jessica's cds. I would never deny that they are great singers but it really has to do with preference and Phillip is more the type of music I like. Plus he is a much better entertainer. Here's to hoping Phillip can grin and bare for a few more weeks then really get his issues taken care of.

Phillip has been sick since the very beginning. His dad said he had kidney stone surgery 5 times in the past six months.... including once while he was on idol (they put a stent in so kidney stones could pass through him). He needs major surgery - I know, I've had it. Kidney stones are one of the most painful things that people go to the hospital for... for real... nurses will tell you. If you noticed, there were a few weeks where Phillip was clammy and pale, and what we didn't see is that he has occasionally gone off stage during commercials which is highly unusual, he hasn't been in all the ford commercials, and they mentioned him going to get a prescription (I assure you it was narcotics for the pain, which would make him less sparky). So I agree with Jimmy... he is really a fighter, but it is the dream of his life, I'd fight, too. Finally, I'm a pretty accomplished musician. I'm not overly excited about anyone this year. Why is nobody talking about how Jessica acts extremely arrogant and rude when Jimmy and the judges give her constructive advice? She has a distant and cold personality. Also, why is nobody talking about how rude she was on the 5/4/12 result show when they showed her stick her tongue out at Jimmy for saying her dress was too mature? That there, shows her arrogance. She is unfriendly. She is good at ballads but that's it. AMERICAN IDOL IS MORE THAN SINGING! Its the whole package. Jessica needs to learn humility and how to appreciate what has been given to her!

since te start of tis american idol season jessica as garnered possitive praises from te judges and oters.se is young and is not over confident. se is accepting watever is given er way.er voice stands up from te crowd. if se wins tanks god but if se does not tere are lots of opportunity for er everywere.you detractors of er-sut up!

Dee.....you are in the HUGE minority if you think that Jessica is awful. You must know more than all the recording artists that want to record duets with Jessica, or the studio pros that desparately want to signed her, or the millions of fans around the world (she has more fans in Asia than in America), or the millions of YouTube fans that have pumped up the viewing lists into the millions, when some of the other "much better" contestants are only in the tens or hundreds of thousands. Yes......you are the true expert. What were we all thinking?

All Joshua(Mantasia) has proved is that he can scream and wail as good as Fantasia. Waiting to hear him sing Collar Greens and Cornbread lol. And Jessica don't even know who she is, what a Beyonce wanna be lol. We all know she ain't no Tina Turner that's for sure.

Phillip should have been eliminated. He's maxed out on what he can do and now it's boring to listen to him. The 12 year old girls are keeping him in. Go figure! Jessica and Joshua should be in the finale with Jessica as the winner. I hope those that understand talent will get those votes out for Jessica and Joshua.

Sorry Skylar fans. Somebody had to go and I think that Skylar was a little "too country" (like 24/7 hardcore country). A couple of non-twangy songs here and there would have propelled her to the top.
Phillip fans need to take their TVs off of "mute". Are you kidding me? We lost Colton, Elise AND Skylar to Phillip?????? That is a travesty.

I was disappointed that Skylar was eliminated....
@Connie.......If you watched the XFACTOR then you remember that Melanie Amaro was brought back because Simon thought he'd made a mistake(As was done this year on Idol with Jermaine-and look what happened there).......AND she was brought back before the competition really started......
I really can't comment on this weeks performances because I missed Wed. night.....
I will say Hollie has improved SOME..........but still not enough to win this competition.......I still say she's getting by on sympathy votes.
Jessica is over confident and that may end up costing her depending on her song choices in the coming weeks......
Joshua screams too much.........
I like Phillip!
Will 2 be going home next week since the save was used?????

Up until now I rated Joshua & Jessica as pretty much equal but now feel Jessica is most probably number one, after listening to her singing "You are so beautiful" her sensational ability to toy with the notes, low middle & high....you name it she can do it effortlessly....Oh my god can you just imagine what she might be in years to come?

Jessica deserves to win because the judges know best when they saved her . Like Randy says even some singers with 50 years of experience can't do what she did. To win she really needs to pick the right songs .

Hollie is terrible. Sure, she's improved a lot but her vocal talents are far more average than all the other competitors.

I'm sick, neither Skylar or Hollie deserved to be at the bottom. Phillip, I just don't know how he manages to slip through lately. When he sings it looks like he is constipated and that vein in his forhead that pops out drives me crazy. He really seems to work hard to get the song out. I'm NOT a country fan at all but every time Skylar was on the stage she had me hooked.Thankfully there are still some good singers left and with luck one of them will win it all....not Mr. I need to go to the bathroom.

I think that Jessica and joshua are by far the best singers in this competition. Skylar and Hollie as well,they've shown that they are fighters. hollie has inproved a lot and Skylar is such a natural country singer. whereas for philip there hasn't been any changes from the start. Still the same boring stuff. He should be the one leaving. i will miss Skylar!!
