It makes no sense that GG is Dan. GG has been blogging since before his arrival in the pilot. Dan had no concept of the UES prior to the pilot, and now, he's this omnipresent force that's been around secretly blogging about S and B all this time? Does Lonely Boy really have that many resources?
And if Dan was GG, why would he need Georgina to write a tell-all about the real UES? Wouldn't he have it already?
For me Gossip Girl has had its series finale in 5x18. Dair was great while it lasted and was frankly the only thing that made me watch GG for a long time after the disasters of S3. I thank the writers for creating such a fabulous couple, its just too bad that they didn't nurture it. My only regret is the way they ended Dair but i guess to expect anything else from them was wishful thinking. I don't know when GG became my bad habit but I can gladly say that after 5 years, I am happy to put an end to it.

i liked this episode. but i'm pretty upset that they reverted serena back to her old ways. but i think this finale is a great setup for the final season. i wish we fans get a full season though. Dan should've believed vanessa last year when she said that he couldn't be in the crowd to create great art but he has to be on the outside to observe the crowd. and it is me or i think jenny will be back next year. because when eleanor said blair should find a great designer to take over, the first name that came to me was jenny.

This episode was probably the best to come out of this season. The Dair arc is over. For good. Finally. And they set it up nicely for the final season. Literally, all that's left to do is tie up loose ends. So well done to the boys/girls

Hopefully Rufus finds him self a wordy wife!
Serena! I always saw her as an auto destructive person with possible suicide attempt! So it would be a huge exit for the show that UES isn't all Happily ever after!
Ivy! Fingers crossed she gets some focus back! She is a good actress! And she will play a nasty game with Lilly and it could be a good story for S6
Nate and GG! Is GG a man! Isn't it IRONIC!?He was boring as always but I would love to see him hunt down GG!
I really beg the NEW SHOW RUNNER! To don't make things end up Happily ever after! It's a CRUEL world and the UES is so be CRUEL! :D

I can't believe the CW cancelled TSC in favor of keeping this show on the air. This was the worst season finale I have ever seen. This show has been going down hill for a while now and it just keep getting worst and worst. I think this was it for me where GG is concerned.

i just watched the whole episode and it was a good finale but some not so sure Future Goals!
Dan! he can blame S how much he wants but he cheated on B before he knew that B chose C! I expected Dark and Twisted Dan at begging of last season, they talked like he would be isolated but he wasn't! He has the great Partner of G.G.02
Blair!Coward was the word I would never use for D! But she really is! She should've first clear thing with D and than kiss chuck! But I would be satisfied with a flashback fight in 6x01
Chuck and Bart are so boring to me so I won't comment them at all. Lilly came out a Slu* but that is who she always was a women who wants to take someone DOWN!

this was a fucking terrible episode. i thought the writers grew some balls but just like the modern day parents of today, gave into their kids (chuckistans) when they had their tanties and gave them what they wanted. Ratings will be the worst in television history in season 6. I'm going to watch a really inspiring and awesome tv show now with writers who know how to write a script. It's call Game of Thrones.

The episode was very confusing. It seems to me that the chapter was hastily rewritten by people who did not know the characters. This was very, very sad.
O-M-GG.
This was definitely one of this seasons stronger episodes (if not the strongest). I'm keen to see if the next season will be like the old days where the drama made sense and all was exciting. I even thought that Georgina was Vanessa (not that i'm not happy to see Georgina .. the bitch is back! - again). And poor S, I hope she sorts things out before it's too late!

I liked it. It felt like Gossip Girl to me. I feel like maybe the writers were trying to fix the clusterfuck that was season five. It really does feel like the whole season was pointless. The whole Louis marriage fiasco was just a mess. I feel for Serena so much. She used to be my least favorite character and now I like her the most. Now that all of these loose ends are tied up lets hope next year will have more continuity and the characters will not be quite so OOC. While I hated the Dair arc so much, you have to feel for the Dair fans. They were totally screwed in this episode. Sometimes crackships need to stay that way.
to join forces with Bart for making Chuck vulnerable around Blair so iceberg get's his way, it'll be so sad!
Ah Blair! She's all in :) I hope Chuck wants her back after all.

Which makes me come to Chuck. He should have punched Bart REALLY HARD for screwing him over, after the press conference! And he let Bart just play him all over and have somewhat respect for him, because he doesn't want to be Mister Blair Waldorf. Recycled storyline #2. And he runs off after an ILY. Aweful writing, horrible episode. So many plotholes the whole season. Season 5 was horrible, as was Season 4. I am not watching anymore.
Ok, I actually thought this season finale was a total anti climax.
I can't believe Serena hasn't learned anything in the 6 years that have passed. Why trying to get back with Dan in such a horrible manner? She could've done a better try here. And now she goes back to her Savannah and Svetlana ways and days. She suddenly has an urge to use drugs after what happened to her..Juliet, when someone died in her hands while using it.. An unbelievable turn as for she has overcome a lot more the past years, Dan not wanting her and losing Blair is like nothing.
Goodbye Lola! Welcome back, Ivy.again. I've seen no fulfilling character in them and Lola giving Ivy the money and scheming together to bring down Lily Bass van der Woodsen isn't something I am interested in to see. Recycled storyline #1

There is no character development in this show, for anyone. Everybody has become so despicable.
I was not a fan of how they handled Blair and Dan's relationship, the anticipation was much better, but now, the ending was sooo bad, the way Blair treats others makes her deserve the worse. I can't stand her anymore. She is so weak, she runs from man to man, never knows what she wants.

Really disappointed in this review. Even the CHAIR fans are fully acknowledging the utter failure on part of the writers. What a pathetic excuse for a finale - or even an EPISODE. Bad taste all around. So sad.
Finally Blair and Chuck back together. With them learning from their mistakes. I'm glad Blair knows Bass enough to know he doesn't mean what he says and that his father has a bad influence. I'm glad she fight for him. I want them fighting side by side. Finally no more Dan. What I don't understand is the reaction of Serena. Why is she going back to her old habits.

This should have been the series finale. It was so badly written. The acting was incredible. The Powers that Be only were right to order only 11 episodes next season. Let's hope that there are quality writing in those episodes. Else they would be a waste of everyone's time.

Here are three elements in this season's finale that really disappointed me:
1. Serena: Blair has always been my favorite female character but I don't know why the writers have worked so hard this season on making Serena so despicable. I've never adored her character but now they made us all hate her and I really do not believe that it is a good thing considering that she's one of the major characters.... It would be a shame for the series to end with the fans feeling this way about her but something tells me that it's going to be hard for us to forgive her behavior of the past season regardless of what will happen to her character in the next one. `
2. Dair: indeed Dair deserved a better ending. I have always been a Chair fan but I also admit that a break from those two was refreshing and necessary because it seemed like the writers no longer knew what to do with them. I therefore enjoyed the Dan and Blair relationship even though I knew that ultimately I wanted to see Chuck and B

Why should it always be about B?! How about Serena? Drugs, seriously??? Should she always be miserable and left alone? That is so not fair!!! She has always loved B and would do anything for her, B on the other hand has always been acting so high school, having petty fights with S and hasn't left her insecurities with the "It Girl" of the Upper East Side. I mean... C'mon!! Oh, and please, stop the craziness of Serena over Dan. He's so not worth her love.
