Can't be Kepner, if she kills herself she goes to hell. Shes too religious to kill herself. Derek would make sense plus it would keep Grey in seattle. Cant be Hunt hes not going anywhere dont think its Mark. So I got to believe it Derek.

Honestly, I hope it's Owen or Mark. Or even Lexie. I will throw a fit if it's anyone else lol.
Owen is starting to drive me crazy. Christina can do much better. She should be with someone who wants, or doesn't want, the same things she does or doesn't.

I think it might be Owen, cause it would solve alot of problems. None of the residents would leave to other hospitals, Derek would be chief of surgery and everything would work out perfectly. Plus Owen is really starting to annoy me...

I 100% agree with this. Everyone expects those in the crash to die, but the shooting already happened and even then Shonda didn't speak out about that episode being this melancholic. It's definitely a suicide. And it's definitely April.

so. if y'all read, Derek says he does NOT want to continue with the series, so OF COURSE he dies, AND i don't want to say it cause i love this girl, but i think lexi dies:(

The spoiler narrows it down to Arizona and Lexie, because Jesse Williams has said there'll be drama to come concerning him and April's relationship, I'm pretty sure. I'm going be so upset if it's Arizona or Lexie, so Shonda Rhimes's aim to "be a sadist" has been fulfilled, IMO.

I think she is going to tease us the whole episode with the deadly doings at the plane crash, maybe even Arizona will flatline, but then she will be miraculously saved and we will find out that while everyone was busy, April committed suicide.

I still think its Izzy somehow. I dont think anyone on the plane dies. thats just what shonda rimes wants us to think. Plus there have been instances of characters "dying" then coming back to life. ex. meredith. We werent so lucky with george tho. anyway, izzy is tied into this somehow.
Hmmm.. hard to say! It's NOT the originals because they have all renewed so who does that leave? It's NOT Teddy because an article quote "Teddy is presented with a tempting offer." so that leaves her out. So I think that leaves Arizona, Lexie and April. I am thinking that Mark will save Lexie from being trapped and realize she's the one he wants. I think it's between Arizona and April. If it has to be someone on the plane then it would be Arizona. April might be gone anyway as she didn't get rehired. Of course Shonda gets us all thinking one way and it ends up being completely opposite! It's going to be such an AWESOME show!!

Didn't the coming attractions show the survivors of the plane crash and one of them asks where Derrick is. The reply was "derrick got sucked out". If the was mid air, he's a gonner. Meredith stays at Grace. Christina also stays. It leaves Grey open to a new love interest and story line. Derrick is a major major player and a shocker to lose McDreamy!

To me this show crashed with this ending. Season finale = something hugely tragic is just showbusiness. People COULD move on normally with their lives...growing and maturing... and the writers could be creative and maybe even have new characters. Idea > Kepner doesn't commit suicide or anything so foolish. She actually has an epiphany of sorts and decides to dedicate her life to God and helping others who are not so choosy about having a "board certified doctor". This series has moved me deeply many times. I like it most when it stays "real". God bless these fictional people and everyone involved w/ making GA.

Everything is possible, but this is the scariest scenario: it's Derek.
This would actually make scene, since if Derek died then Meredith and Christina would definitely stay in Seattle... And it would give Shonda a whole lot to write about. They said Patrick signed on for next year, so he may appear as a ghost (hello Denny Douqette) at the begging of next season. I think the writers will give us something juicier this time.
The article says Mark is safe, so we 're left with Lexie, Arizona and Derek on the plane, not to mention the ones that stayed.

Teddy was not on airplane she gets an offer next week from another hospital I think. My guess is the twins they were going to separate are izzies, now all the Dr.'s are hurt kepner gets her job back and Derek is dead!

Kepner's religious beliefs wouldn't let her commit suicide, she already feels shes let god down losing her virginity so doubt she would want to, in her mind, fail him more. But I would prefer her, or teddy.
Andrea's seems most plausable, Arizona would be a huge shocker....could lead to a Callie/Mark thing.
Either way in my ideal world, yang will survive, get back with owen realising lifes to short, get pregnant, and have triplets lol.

Arizona is as goner. Jessica Capshaw is preggers and Shonda has already said that her pregnacy is not going to be written into the show. If there's a second then PLEASE let it be Kepner.
Maybe Izzie is going to return this season and the plane crashed on top of her? Now THAT would be a twist. LOL

its arizona, cause she pulled alex off the plane, and adamantly told Callie not to leave her. so, she's as good as dead in tv land. i wouldnt be surprised if April died separately, suicidal?!, as well. thats a good tie in.

kepner: cause that would make an excellent point to webber's words to alex: youre the one winning - well not so much if because of his actions april is killing herself. and that would be a good move - everybody thinking about the crash and no one noticing april.
mark, maybe: it would be really tough and it makes mcdreamy and mer stay in seattle for sure (lexie)

my biggest fear: derek - i really really hope its not him.. it sound strange, but i kind of think dempsey maybe said that at start of the season not without a reason... it would suck! i'd consider not watching the next season..

if its Arizona or Callie I swear to stop watching forever especially Arizona but I highly doubt its them since they just got their fairytail with the wedding and Arizona got lucky with getting Callie to live! I highly doubt Arizona will leave right now I think its teddy since she just lost the husband and all or mabye Keptner

I rewatched the ending and I didnt think I saw teddy on the plane. The ones on the plane I saw was meredith,derek,sloan,lexie,arizona,and christina. I would much prefer if it was teddy over the 3 I think its coming down to. It seems to me the three are Slaon, lexie, and arizona. I saw another comment that maybe it will be someone not on the plane to throw you and that would be good. My votes would be for teddy or april.
Meredith: Get this baby out of me safely and you can have whatever you want.
