Yes Lexie died that doesn't mean that mark should die too. He still has a lot to live for like for his daughter!!!! Just because Lexie died it doesn't mean its the end of the world.

is lexi really dead? when she "died" mark just started crying and held her hand. he never checked her pulse or anything. maybe she just is in a coma. i hope when they find them that they are going to be like lexi's not dead, she is just in a coma. and the whole season lexi will be in a coma and wake up in the finale. i really hope so. i mean chyler doesnt even need to be in those episodes if shes in a coma they use fake people. and one episode wont kill her. shonda could do this bc she probably realizes how upset us fans are...
did anyone ever read that she really wanted to leave the show? and are the interviews with shonda sources reliable? and in an interview with chyler didnt she say she would take over as main GREY is meredith left the show? WTF why couldnt meredith die?!?!
i am devastated. i am still in shock and its pretty much been a whole week since she died. i loved her and mark absolutely loved them and i am hoping they can fix this terrible thing. PLEASE!!!

Sad to see Lexi go .. Sad to say but kinda hope mark goes to just bc I don't see him truly happy after this .
I totally agree with what ppl are saying about this finally feeling rushed and not well written . Not one of greys best episodes but I'm a true fan and will keep watching until they stop making them lol
Lately greys has been so dark and gloomy really hope next season brings more happy endings and fresh faces ( that we can grow to love and have great story lines to go with ourcurrent favs )

Sorry but if one episode is not to your liking, so much where you can stop watching, your not a true Greys fan..lol and why is everyone so "mad" that Lexi was killed off? Has anyone stopped to think about what will be the basis for filming after season 9? They have gone through residency and are doctors now, whats next?
dont be surprised if season 9 will be the last.

I honestly was crying and so upset with the whole episode and by reading what I read I believe someone else is going to die and that probably be "Arizona" & if it is I'm gonna be highly upset Cus she's one of my main favorites. Imma truly miss "Lexie". "Bailey" & "Christina" is my main favorite so Im not all that angry.

i have watched from day one and every season finale is edge of seat terrifying excitement. the mass murder is still my favourite because i am a huge Alex fan and it left you with "who died and survived?" this epsode was just like that, it didnt have the shock factor as such but it has the lingering question, will they make it through the night? will owen realise they are missing? I would hate to see any other cast members not make it to next season and above all i want to see everyone happy especially Callie. has no one raised that question? she keeps going on about how happy she is now and doesnt know that all the ppl she loves are hanging onto their lives, in feel her life is about to crash, after all it is a drama series. yes lexi died but in a way there are so many other major things going on in that episode and devastating as well. i cried from start to end so congrats to Rhimes for making it so emotional. I cant wait for season 9.

That season finale was absolutely horrible. I really wish the whole thing was just a dream. I can't believe they killed off Lexie. She was a great character. I loved mark and Lexi together. That finale left me so angry and not wanting to watch the show anymore.

go ahead people, say your not coming back for season 9, at the moment they are only words easy to type. I'll go as far as saying i'll put my last dollar in the pot to say you won't be able to help yourself and watch the premire, all wanting to know if how they get rescued, does anyone else die etc etc.
Yes it's sad that Lexi has died, she will not be back, so you petition people forget it, you aren't going to win that one.
What i would like to see happen in the premire well for them to be rescued first, the reaction back at the hospital of Lexi's passing believe me i doubt Alex and Jackson will go once they find out as they both had relationship's with her so they will stick around to support Mer.
Cristina's reaction to Teddy leaving will be interesting as Owen will offer her the attending postition to stay. Derek will have a long recovery so i'm going to speculate that Mer is going to go back to Neuro as no-one else can, and Derek only trust's her. For General Bailey and Webber are

I'm a really big fan of Mark and Lexie. It sounds like Rhimes felt like that as well. I'm going to respect that Chyler made a personal choice and Rhimes followed her wishes and wrote an ending that would honor both Mark and Lexie's love for each other. RIP, Lexie, you beguiled us with your heart, your love story with Mark, your spunk, and your lovely doe eyes that always had a sparkle. You will be missed.

Chyler wanted to leave from what I heard. What I would like to happen? Meredith has been so busy taking care of others, she loses her leg because it gets infected and maybe temporary problems with the untreated head wound. Everyone else makes it out okay but with long difficult recoveries.

I'm bummed that lexie died..... It looked like arizona was next spitting up blOod... Poor kallie she loses everyone. I miss izzy yet I liked the Danny story. I am so glad that Mer and christina are together. I am excited for next season. Bring lexie Back. Maybe she just pasted out. And looks dead. It would be great if in the first ep. They showed her taking a breath and the rest of everyone working together to get her out of the thing that's crushing her. Please bring her back I don't care how cheesey the story line is. I want her and mark together.

I hated the season finale. Since Lexie died, I think Mark should have died also. I am worried about Arizona and hope she is not going to be killed off. I am also not happy about Kim Raver leaving the show.

What a total waste of my time! As for when George died and Izzy left, could have cared less! The killing of Lexi/ Chyler is another matter totally! The show was better because of her and I am done with this washed up mess! Blames this girl for writing her off? Shame on Rhimes! Could she not have gotten rid of that annoying character Kepner? Love Yang, but she is not enough to keep me watching this show when a better one is on at the sametime! And I wanted Lexie with Jackson! The hot hot guy that is her age and treated her right? Mark was funny when he was a slut! Person of Interest is by far the better show and I won't have to overwork the DVR anymore! Hats off to you Rimes for taking a great show and trashing it, but good!

There is not always cell phone coverage in the forest so can't depend in cell phones. Cannot imagine a plane with no transmitter though. And none of the doctors took snacks and water with them for a flight of 2-3 hours? Yeah right.

That's a good point. And another thing: so the transmitter was broken and it didn't occur to any of them to try their cellphones? I mean, there were like 6 people there And none had it with them? They found backpacks And matches but not a single phone, they probably woundn't get any service but still...! A simple call And maybe lexie would've been saved. At least make it logical

Funny fact from the latest episode...when they tried to make a fire they had matches (which are gone now) but also alot of cloates which catches fire very easy...maybe that would be a way they get rescued next season?
I really hope that no one more dies/leaves, it is enough now!

Let's face facts people. Calzona needs more airtime. Rhimes and her writers do not want to devote airtime to slexie when they need to air more gay relationship segments with Calzona. Yes, Rhimes will ride the show into the ground (losing 7-8 Mill Viewers) but she gets the gay community off her back. Hollywood is being pushed HARD to include gay/lesbian actor/actress relationships on their television shows. There is just not enough time to include everyone in the show.
