i thought it was an amazing finale, and realistic--a plane crash results in fatalities; but Lexie will be missed, her odd quirks and out of nowhere inappropriate comments lol

I simply can not believe shonda rimes And the writers did this. In my opinion it was too harsh to kill off a character that was both so loved and on the verge of getting her happy ending with mark. I would really love to have seen them together again! And it doesn't even make sense because it took her so long to be able to tell mark her true feelings And she finaly does, she dies!!! I don't get it And i don't think this is what they had originally planned. They should've ended up together. Of course i won't stop watching the show, it still is a great show, but i am very disapointed in them And i don't think it was a smart move.

Are you SOOOOO rude that you post mouth off language! Come on sweetie wake up and get a life! Yes, everyone is upset that Lexie was cut off, and so am I. What happened when George died?! Or Liz?! How did you feel?! Were you one of them that threatened to STOP watching or did you continue?! Well I guess that question was already answered! That is the point here... Nobody is saying what true fan´s are supposed to do... They are just making a point that people don´t have to threat that they aren´t going to watch the show anymore! It´s ridiculas to say you are and then you don´t! That´s all! Or are you guys just saying that to see if Shonda changes her mind on everything! For what I know the show certainly didn´t turn out to be a success with your imagination but it did with her´s!

I love Grey's Anatomy...and i hope that will be a 10,11 even 12 seasons, in fact i'm lying...i wish it could be like The Young and the Restless - neverending :)

She already killed off George and Izzy, 2 of the most beautiful characters there was in Grey´s Anatomy and you still continued watching. So stop being little spoiled brats and crying wolf that you will stop watching the show! You don´t want to watch it!? then don´t! Stop crying wolf!!!Let the other fans enjoy it!
Shonda Rhimes will do what she thinks is best for the show. The show will have to end some day and of course we all want a beautiful ending. Instead of threatening that you will stop watching the show because she cuts off some beautiful characters, new characters will come and you will also love them and also forget about the others that were cut off! Yes, I was a Lexie fan, as I was an Izzy fan, as I also was a big George fan! It was painfull to watch, but life as we know it goes on. Shonda Rhimes knows how to keep people watching. Can you imagine Grey´s Anatomy ending!!!??? We won´t be able see no more episodes!? Have you thought about that?!

I think that Grey´s anatomy is a show that you can´t excluid the other characters. It´s impossible! How about Meredith and Derek?? How about Yang and Owen?? How about the rest of the caracters!?? As you say it´s our opinion, well, i guess we are the real fan´s and just want to keep the series going. But if you don´t want to watch then don´t!

What a finale! It could of ended in a different way, but this is a way to let the fans keep a curious thought about the next season. And be anxious for the next one to start. The only thing that i think that is bad is us not knowing when the next season will start! There are too much questons to be answered and us not knowing when the next season will start, just draws us away in forgetting about Grey´s Anatomy. We just continue our lives and day by day we forget about the series. I just think that the series shouldn´t take so long to start, because fans like me, get so caught up in it that we actually think we are living it. But leaving some business unfinished, just leaves the fans sooooo curious, that they won´t stop watching, like they threat they will. I think that Shonda Rhimes has an awesome mind and imagination. So if you will just let her do her job, I am sure, that it will be an awesome one! So STOP threatening that you will stop watching the show because you know you wonÂ

I just don't understand this fanbase sometimes...
Shonda and Chyler made this decision together. Chyler wanted some new experiences in her career. This happens. Think about where Lexie was in her life as a character - how would she have just "gone into the sunset" without dying? She was a 4th year...how would you have reacted if she had just left? And what would the rationale have been for her to leave? In order to move forward as a show without Chyler, Lexi's passing had to occur.
I don't understand how it is "messed up," just because it was an unpopular decision. It makes sense in the long run. It allows the actress to move on and produce great scenes. It moves the story forward at this unsure time in these characters' lives. And, it made for good television. Again, just because you loved the character and it's incredibly sad doesn't mean it's bad writing or worth boycotting/never watching again.

This ending was hard to take in. Nothing was answered that I wanted answered...the suspense is killing me but I'm glad they are comming back for season 9 but like many others killing anyone else off will kill the show.... Losing little gray was hard enough.....please don't kill anyone else off...I probably wont continue watching the show sorry

I think a few things can happen in season 9. One of those being Arizona dying and then eventually ending the whole series with Mark and Callie together because they are best friends, they used to date and they have a kid together. Just a thought but who knows. Bottom line is that Shonda should have never killed off little grey. Bad bad bad decision!!!!!

It takes guts as a director and writer to (possibly) kill of most main characters from a show.
Honestly, though, I'm not sure I'll keep watching it if they will eventually all die.
It's like with the Australian show "McLeod's Daughters" - losing the main characters in a show calls for a end to the entire show. At least that's how I feel...

I really liked Lexie and I had hoped she and Mark would get back together but if that happened then what?? So i guess her dying was the best possible end cos I don't think her character would have wanted to leave SGMW. (you can hate me) but I dont mind if Arizona dies as long as Callie ends up with Mark. I just feel their relationship is a lot more genuine and exciting than "Calzona" Iwish Burke would come back!!! That would be an unexpected twist and entertaining too.
