Grey's Anatomy Season Finale Promo: We Are Going to Die!

by at . Comments

The stunning end of last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy and the promo for next Thursday's season finale certainly made clear what the dark, complex thing Shonda Rhimes teased consists of.

In the aftermath of the crash, the doctors must battle to stay alive while trying to save the lives of their peers, as the shocking turn of events last night could mean devastating consequences.

Take a look at ABC's first promo for "Flight" and get scared now:

Also in the eighth season finale, Bailey and Ben make a decision regarding their relationship's future, Teddy is presented with a tempting offer, and Richard plans a special dinner for the residents.

As always, the Grey's Anatomy season-ender is not to be missed. Even with the original cast now under contract for next season, there's no telling which characters might pay the ultimate price.

For an in-depth discussion of this week's penultimate Season 8 episode, read our review of "Migration" from earlier. We've updated our Grey's Anatomy music section with last night's tracks, as well.

Then, as we gear up for the main event, tell us:

Will Mark and Lexie get back together? Are any or all of the doctors really leaving Seattle? Are Cristina and Hunt done? Will everyone survive the plane crash? Sound off in the comments below!

Aubrey is 4 months now, and still sleenipg in her pack n play right beside the bed! She started sleenipg through the night after turning a month old. I know I'll have to face moving her, but I just haven't yet! Lexie is so adorable. I LOVE that last picture of her in the sunglasses! Such a little diva!

when does this come back on.... i work an it is hard for me to keep up with the show...i hated that Lexi died...i hope know one else does!!!!!! i have watched this show from day i work in a hospital.....wish it was like there' this show so much!!!!!!

i have to agree with alyssa (whoever you are.) i think it is not true, they'll work it out... but HOW can they work it out in a way that will make any sense, that won't just be a 'sitcom soitluon' to the problem?

hiddenrose- I am hoping but hearing what shondra rhimes just wrote, it was her and Chyler who made the call, SO Lexie, take it back and go back to work and let the pizza commericals go,

Marcia, I would certainly go back to watching if they wrote it that way. It is plausible. In trauma, I have seen body recoveries actually end up being rescues when a faint pulse was felt and witnessed the miracle of a full recovery when by all rights it should not have been. Sometimes, it seems like the hand of God just comes down and grants them. That would most certainly appease me and keep me watching. But if not, there are plenty of other viewing options and it was a good ride while it lasted.

well what if lexie when the are rescued and the plane wreckage is removed is found to have a breath or a pulse, after all mer was dead in the drowning episode but was revived, and it is cold in the forest so maybe it lowered her heart rate, providing for her to remain alive, after all wasn't it webber who said of mer, their not dead until their warm and dead, and no one did check a pulse

Yeah, was mad about Henry too, thought Teddy really needed him. And Mark needs Lexie. I wonder if Mark will decide to go to her, he's very iffy w/cardiac tamponade. Blood can build up again, and there's only so much blood in the human body. Sorry, EMT here. I thought Mer had had enough death in her family, Mother, step-Mother, Father, now sister? This is almost sadistic.

That sucked big time :(

I concur with most of you. I have watch Grey's Anatomy for many years and have seen many characters come and go, but Lexie's character and her love story with Mark is what kept me reeled in the past couple of years. I enjoyed some of the other story lines, but Lexie and Mark is what kept me watching because I was so looking forward to their future. Now, I just really don't care to watch anymore. I was pretty irritated when they killed off Henry and now they got rid of my absolute favorite character. Someone dying every season is exhausted. I see death and heartbreak at work every day I walk through the doors, so I watch TV to see the triumphs real life leaves in the dust. Granted, the show needs some heavy and it has plenty of that in other storylines. After all these years, it is time to move on. I still have Once Upon A Time. You can't go wrong with Snow White and Prince Charming.

Well I was right! I mean when you think about it it's not rocket science! Like I said she had no storyline this season and was nonexistent! I didn't cry as much as I thought I would I might still be in shock I can't even think about the mess Mark is going to be next season! WHY didn't they kill April? I mean no one cares about her!!!!
