I prefer it to be Teddy! He story has died a little. Christina could take her place, and rekindle her relationship with Hunt! Kepner needs to stay! I would love to see her and Jackson start a true relationship! I think Mark is going to realize that he cannot live without Lexi! I hope the twists and turns aren't too much for us as viewers to handle!

I think its Teddy or April. The crash is a decoy. Teddy story has died a bit and I hate to think its going to be Lexi at all.

It must be hard for you Shonda to let any of your beloved characters go...I feel for you really. It can't be easy for you. Consider, MOM Avery joins SA Grace to break up April and Avery becoming the new Mrs Webber in the process! Why? because everybody would be broken up to see Webber go or Bailey who is a "no go" she brings that attitude, fierceness, opposition and bang! that every show needs in a character. So "Twisted Sister"(said with love) Ms.Shonda Rhimes consider someone other than Webber. I can see how you would choose Webber, he's the chief who isn't the chief. Maybe Owen can have a heart attack when he hears about Yang's plane going down and Webber is chief again! 0-0 Choose Teddy or Lexie O_0' With Teddy gone Yang Rules...But with Webber gone everybody STAYS! decisions decisions...

I think it's Webber, Lexie or Teddy. April failed the exam,got fired from the hospital,lose ALL of her offers, believes Jesus can no longer hear her; one would think that she should be placed on suicide watch except suicide is unforgivable thus she would never go through with it. Yang get's scared of Teddy ending up with her man and stays. Those on the plane have Yang and Mer to do what they "do" (pull it together and work medical miracles until help arrives!) However this time it will be Arizona in a coma and Callie reminding her of "the promise to never leave, you just made me make and now you're trying to leave me (again)" While begging her not to leave Arizona wakes up and says "never" and Grey get's to do another musical episode as they mourn Lexie, Teddy or Webber and pray for Arizona to wake up!! LOL However with Lexie gone, it opens the door for April to stay and for she and Avery to explore what they have! Maybe Mom Avery will disapprove and terrified of wedding bells a coming

Teddy. With Teddy gone, Cristina would have lead cardio left wide open to her like a Thanksgiving Day turkey. I adore Kim Raver, but she's had her time and there's nothing much left to do with her, to be frank. I don't believe it will be someone at the crash site, as that would be far too obvious for a Shonda Rhimes twist-written finale. My money's riding on Teddy.

Katis awes so cute do you unserstand that the contracts in this business are not a guaranties Many a toes have agents to book deal. The contract is binding with an out clause for the production company. Shonda wrote the ending before she new the contracts were a done deal. So why are you so sure they are stayin??

OMG doesnt anyone pay attention to details. No of the attendings have to leave for the grads to stay after passing their boards. The fact that Owen was concerned about everyone leaving and him having to hire surgeons fuels that theory out

Think back people ... Here is Izzie with Cancer in a Hospital bed and....Geoge gets hit by a bus and dies??? There is no way it's somebody that was on that plane...wayyy too obvious.

I think it will be Teddy who dies. I know she is not on the plane, but her death would provoke tremendous emotion and also give Christina a reason to stay. I think it will be her because she is not a obvious choice. No one is going to get upset if April dies; she was created as an unlikable character. I think false clues have been planted, ie Arizona's comment to Callie, the scene of the plane crash, to throw us off the trail.

If it's Derek, I think it would bring things around. Ellis left Seattle with a young Mer and went to Boston. How ironic would it be if Mer left Seattle in the aftermath of Derek's (possible) death and made a life in Boston with her daughter?

I do not wish for it to be a major character such as Mer, Der, Chris, Webber or Bailey. If they die in the plane crash I believe its either Arizona or Lexie. The people who were not on the plane were Callie, Teddy, Owen, Webber, April, Bailey and Avery. This makes me wonder if they will go in a different direction with this finale. All I can say is, BE READY FOR THE TEARS!!

From what we've seen from the American and Canadian promos, all signs point to Little Grey signing off. It's been said it's a beloved character that dies. They also said it was a very emotional table read, with people crying and everything. I don't think that would've be the case had it been April or Arizona who bite the dust. Lexie is connected to more characters on the show, being Mer's little sister, Derek's sis in law, Mark's love, Jackson's ex, etc etc. Her death would have the biggest impact of all the other choices (April, Arizona). All that being said, it'll suck big time. Lexie is one of my faves. :( Shonda Rhimes is a sadist!

I think it will be Derek (Patrick Dempsey)or other wise known as (McDreamy) will be killed think about it on the previews it shows Kristina saying he got sucked out of the plane through the exit and I have just been to this website that said it will be unexpected and it is one of the main characters. The said it will be very unexpect.
Thats what Shonda Rhimes the created of Grey's Anatomy said on an interview!!:(

So it's unexpected, I think Avery is going to run after Kepner and he's going to be hit by a car or something trying to get her out of way. Thinking totally outside the box for this finale.

It astounds me how many people STILL dont know that all of the original cast (MerDer, Alex, Cristina, Bailey) have renewed their contracts for two more years. They did not do that to die.
Callie was not on that plane. So she's out.
Avery is safe. So is Sloan.
It's probably Arizona or Lexie. Either one are "beloved" characters and will create plenty of heartbreak on the show.

Why is this important the story was already written and the characters fate had already been taped. If for instance if Deempsey was written out because let's be honest nobody really new what he was doing with the Show theses shows are routinely taped in advance The show would have been taped several months in advance for editing purposes. So if he was written out how likely is it that the would retape the ending in a week to change the final.
I think when the shows final was taped it was done so that there really would be this life altering moment when that actor was killed off. Remember we were promised a major characters death both his draws must loyal viewers to the core cast this is mer, derick, Christina, Alex bailey and webber.
Remember Adel, Zola, and Sophia are recurring roles their death maybe sad, but the story would continue and only a few characters would be forever changed

Who is in my top three. 1. Derick due to Dempseys contract issues 2 The former chief Webber. He is the heart of the show he was the leader of the first residents, he is loved by all off the staff ESP Baiiley, he was Mers Dad in many ways and he would leave a wife with Alzhimers alive and alone. It would cause pain and suffering to everyone. 3. April I don't know if she will die ,but she is more than likely the cause of the big event ie drinking and driving. It would be easy to kill her off via suicide, but it would be gut wrenching to have her kill or injury another character such as webber via a head on collision or running over them she would not only have to live with failing her boards, loosing her job offers, lossing her virginity, and ? Pregnancy while in jail for manslaughter. That's more of Greyls ending

Why is this so important. This means that the production company has the right to terminate the contract at any time with compensation to the actor. Let's look at p Dempsey for months there was the I am going no I am staying reports so if you were writing this it would be a way to end that drama that would be your out kill them off
Yes they all signed new deals but we the viewers don't know the details of that contact. It could be that the actor will be in 4 episodes out of that 2year period. So don't hold yor breath that they are all sAfe. Please remember that we were promised the death of a major character I think for long time fans the major characters are mer, derick, Christina, Baily, Alex and webber so honestly we should see an original character go to the great beyond. We were also promised maybe more tha one death

The general rule is that a party cannot cancel a contract once it has been entered into. However, certain limited exceptions apply. Many contracts contain cancellation clauses which could include a damage amount if isyou back out of the agreement.
Okay just so everyone understands the legal definition of a contract. The production company has the right to terminate any actor or actress regardless of the length of time remaing contract. The processes usually referred to as buying out a contract so even if the main 6 actors signed a contract the production company ie shondaland can terminate the contract if they want and pay out damages to the actor
