very good news .it would be very sad if any of the original did not come back next year.now i hope that teddy will be the one who die.the character is written very bad and i think that kim raver is a good actress and she must leave the show because its just not good for her to play such a useless character .

I abssolutely thought it was going to be Webber, but now I'm feeling like it might be one of the kids, which is going to totally sink. I don't think it's Owen and truly hope that it won't be, but I don't want either of the kids to die either. If Arizona is staying, that rules her out. Can't wait to see how this plays out.

I hope is not Arizona or Callie, they are the funniest and the best couple after MerDer. Lexie it's great, so not her, it should be Owen or Zola, but the coment on April about her suiciding seams in a way a posibility!!!! I just can't wait to know!!!! :(

soooo happy!!!! i really hope they kill off owen. he has been a total ass lately and i hate him even more now. i just hope that they don't kill lexie! she's one of my favorites and i can't watch her get killed. if she dies im pretty sure a part of me will die with her :'(

P.S. If Izzie was to have reappeared it should have been a SL for the boards episodes, she should have been taking them too. It's too late to have Izzie back IMO.
I think 10 seasons of GA will be enough, it'll be pointless going on beyond that.
So looks like I'll still be checking this website out the next two years :)

If it is Owen who dies, I, for one, will be extremely sad ... I just really like him & I think Kevin McKidd & Sandra Oh just play so wonderfully opposite each other. It is my opinion, that the character of Owen Hunt has been the best thing that has ever happened to Cristina Yang - yes, even though he cheated on her. From the moment she laid eyes on him, he awakened something within her that even Preston Burke didn't.
Neither Owen nor Cristina can stay away from each other .... their love for each other runs deep - again, yes, even though he cheated on her. We'll see what happens these last two episodes.

I can't wrap my head around who we could possibly lose. I was convinced that it was going to be Webber, but not that he has resigned it's not looking like it will be him. It will be devastating to lose either Lexi, Callie, or Arizona (especially for Mark) so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it won't be them. But I am ecstatic over the news that everybody resigned for not just one, but two years!

No one is saying Adele because the death is supposed to be "shocking" and affect everyone in the hospital. Her death won't.

I don't want anyone to die, but if someone has to, I hope it's Teddy. After Henry died she's become pointless. It's not that I don't like her, I don't see what she brings to the show.
That is great news. However that pretty much just leaves Lexie, Owen or Jackson. I do not want Lexie to die, especially not after admitting to Mark that she still loves him. Mer can not lose her sister. I also do not want Owen to die eventhough he was cheated on Christina. I am 50/50 on Jackson I liked him at the start then he got a little annoying but I like him again.

i love how everyone is saying its one of the staff of the hospital...just remember theres still adele. i know she hasnt been in the spotlight, but with her alzheimers increasing, its hard to say when she will leave us like ellis grey did. maybe that is who is going to die.

I am thinking that the death will be Arizona. I think Zola is very sick, not just the flu and she needs to be airlifted somewhere. I think Arizona, Alex, Derek, and Meredith will be on the helicopter and it will crash. Arizona dies which causes Alex to stay at SGMW to fill the void in peds, Zola doesn't make it so Meredith and Derek are too distraught to leave, and Cristina can't leave Meredith since she just lost her child. This would also set up the "bittersweet" storyline for Lexie and Mark. They will get back together and then Arizona will die and Callie will need Mark more than ever, causing Lexie to have to either accept the relationshop between Callie and Mark and help raise Sophia or to walk away once and for all.

I hope that it us Avery or April that dies because all the others have been there longer and I think they all should stay. I will miss all the others way more If one of them die I have aren't them longer.

Shonda also says that Mark and Avery are safe
"A beloved character" will die...... not Teddy, Ben or April
Callie is beloved but they just had her going through a windshield last season and in a coma so don't think so.
Shonda has also said Owen and Christina still have a "journey" ahead so again...don't think it's him
So that leaves Arizona and Lexi

for the first time in a long time i agree with you Jarrod , now the timing could not be more perfect for bringing back Katherine Heigl, it will a nice bump for the ratings, without her it's hard to imagine ratings to be good enough for a 10th season.

I think the death will be Lexie's. She's been as close to being out of the series this year as any major player could be. No real major story lines. It seemed like she was there mainly to be a sounding board for a few other characters and to be a spare Grey if Pompeo left.
Since Pompeo will stay, there isn't a real lot left for her to do.
A pity- when they started the character she was really interesting. Bit by bit they took away her intelligence and spunk.

Awesome news. As long as the original characters return, I don't care who else leaves. So happy Meredith, Cristina and Alex will be back for 2 more years. This made my day.
