I am reading Shonda´s twitter every day and she never said anything rude to the fans! So to the person who keeps telling that lie that her twitter told fans off, stop spreading your lies or prove it! because I´ve been to Shonda´s twitter account since the finale has aired and all she put up there was the long post about the people leaving and harmless stuff about her other shows or completely unrelated things. NOT ONE RUDE THING TO THE FANS! Quite the contrary really. She admitted that it was unsettling and unsatisfying.
I hope that Chyler has at least the courtesy to explain her desision to leave because it would make this cruel death scene much more acceptable. I hope she didn´t pull a TR Knight or Katherine Heigl who only left because of the spotlight not solely on them.
Seriously. I hate the fact that Little Grey is dead. I hate the haunting thought of my favorite bromance (Mark and Derek) ending because of Mark probably getting killed off next. I hate that my favouri

Wise words there from Krista. It is true though; you may be mad at Shonda but this is a TV show. If there was no drama, we’d all stop watching! Going as far as to “attack” Shonda via twitter is no way to treat her and CHYLER LEAVING WAS HER CHOICE. In my opinion, the way Chyler ended her time on the show was a great tribute to her character and Chyler did such an excellent job playing out her death scene.

I am sad that lexie was killed off but I can actually understand shonda's decision to do so. Her character doesn't have anywhere elso to go and the pairing of mark and lexie has always been iffy to me. I had such high hopes for her pairing with jackson. Unfortunately, there was little chemistry with them. I am more sad with teddy's (kim raver)leaving. She is such a good actress and I was really hoping that she would have a good on-screen romance with someone cool like owen. Anyway, hope these changes would finally give the other characters like mark (who were stuck in their roles)a chance to shine and be given a better storyline. Looking forward to next season :)

EXCUSE ME BUT I'M TIRED OF HEARING THAT CHYLER DID NOT WANT TO RETURN AND THAT SHE WANTED OFF!!!!PLEASE GIVE ME A LINK THAT she tell that or something said by her and not only shonda or rumors!!!!!!!cause i didn't find that as much ias i googled it!!i only foun a videro that chyler last year told that she was willing to continue grey's if Mer was gone and that she has a lot to do with lexie!!!!
Well, I just Google that, and nothing came up about her having years on her contract. THE ONLY THING THAT CAME UP WAS THAT HER CONTRACT WAS UP! So, whether or not what you said is true, Chyler Leigh did not want to return. She wanted a break from the show. Read anything I have posted and everything will back me up. I'm tired of explaining this to every individual!

E news reported in the summer of 2011 that Chyler Leigh had several years still left on her contract. Her Contract was not up. Google is your friend.

I to was very upset over Lexi dying but someone told me and I kinda hope they are right that she really isnt dead that when they are found Lexi is in a comma and bearly alive but NOT DEAD. I also heard by someone else this was another dream. I really truly hope that this is the case and she hasnt died and only time will truely tell. I love the show and I wont quit watching just because a charecter dies off because it happens all the time on all diffrent shows. These actors/actresses also have dreams and lifes of their own so maybe she was ready to leave the show. As for the people who keeping bringing up Gorge and Izzy getting killed off. Let me point out at this point Izzy still hasnt actually died. As for Gorge his actor asked to be written off so again they have their own lives and dreams

I think if she wanted to leave the show they should have sent her somewhere for some reason like they did with izzie. Im pissed and i do think we as fans should sign a petition and no I Will Not Grow Up to the person who said we should shut up no one wants to hear from you

I also have to say HOW DARE YOU GET PISSED WITH SHONDA RHIMES. She has given us eight seasons of Greys Anatomy so far! You say you "don't hate Shonda Rhimes" but you hate the show??? She was trying to manage a cast of 14 AND have story lines for all of them. Sadly contract negotiations came up, and CHYLER LEIGH (Lexie) chose NOT TO RENEW HER CONTRACT! That right there, STOPS all possible future story lines with that character. Shonda Rhimes did what she thought was necessary. WHY PROMISE A STORY LINE (Mark+Lexie)WHEN THE CHARACTER IS NOT EVEN GOING TO BE ON THE SHOW?!?!?!?!? LIKE, ANSER THAT DAMN QUESTION WHY DON'T YOU??? No Chyler Leigh, NO Lexie Grey! With NO GUARANTEE that Chyler Leigh would return to the role... why not kill her off?? It actually makes sense (if you choose to think about it). I'm less mad now. Lexie was killed off because Chyler Leigh wanted to leave the show and Owen fired Teddy because Kim Raver's contract was up and she didn't sign on either.
I'm still mad about them being stuck in the woods and dying but I'm sure it'll come beautifully. House of Candles, you know? Shonda Rhimes gave us the House of Candles and that's enough to keep my optimism.
I do agree though that there's a chance this show will decline in quality. I want this show to end in a high note so I hope the good stuff keeps coming or no one will be surprised when it ends when it does reach the end.

I can't believe you killed Lexie off just when she and Mark were heading back to each other. Please re-consider and have her cloned or not really dead, just in a coma or something. I cried for hours after the last episode!!!! Have a miracle happen that she starts breathing again and no-one notices. I love her witt and shyness!!!!

As others have said before me, I sincerely hope that the show comes back in September with everyone still in the woods and we get to see the rescue and the reactions of those back in Seattle. And, as much as I love Mark Sloan, I think he might need to leave Seattle, dead or alive. I can't see a decent storyline for him without Lexie. Not with Callie and definitely not with Julia. How do you go back to someone who supposedly has feelings for you and tell her that the love of your life just died in the woods and nah, you're not ready to have kids with her just yet. Maybe later? While Julia has gotten a little creepy with this whole testing fertility levels to determine optimal times to get pregnant, without discussing it firsthand with Mark, that should be a bit much even for her.

im so sad i feel like this could be the begging of the end their losing all their people and unless they bring some new ones in i feel like they could possibly let the show end on this sad and ridiculous note. I have followed this show religiously form the begging and im really sad about this finale. What could they do to turn it around, to keep viewers happy I mean honestly. Shonda is brilliant so i know they are capable. I just hope I can continue to love it and not resent them taking all of our favorite characters away. Because seriously if Derek would have died I would have turned my t.v off n vow never to watch it again!!!!!!

T and Kimski: There is such a thing as respect for the fans who made a show what it is and Shonda has completely blown off the Mark and Lexie fans for 2-3 years now. There has been NO respect for those fans at all. She has fed us one bold-faced lie after another and we are sick of it. She has earned every name she has been called.
As for the decision being both Chyler's and Shonda's think back to earlier in the season when there was talk about Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey possibly not returning. Chyler Leigh said back then that if it meant she was the "Grey" in "Grey's Anatomy' she would be happy to step up and take that on. Now, all of a sudden, she agreed to having her character killed off? If you believe that, there is a beach house for each one of you, and anyone who agrees with you, in the Louisiana swamp with your respective names on it.
Finally, Shonda may write this shit but that doesn't mean she gets to do what she damn well pleases. TV shows are like any oth
