I loved this episode - except for the brotherly bonding about leaving town if Elena doesn't choose 1 or the other. If you love her fight for her Damon - I know she's getting a bit ridiculous but Stefan makes her even more boring! I gotta say I am a Joseph Morgan fan - I think he makes a great Klaus and his weaknesses and hunger for love make him so human in spite of his tantrums. Loved, loved, loved the attempts to get invited in - classic Klaus! I think Stefan will come to the rescue eventually and save him. Come on Elena - just give in and bring back that randy girl who jumped Damon a couple of weeks ago! The chemistry is HOT and Damon will make her so much more interesting (hopefully)!

That was a very good episode indeed. But i was really sad when Klaus ''died''. I loved that character so much! I can't tell you how pissed i was when i saw the little '' Good Ridance Klaus'' fest they had prepared. Not that i can blame them...But i couldn't stand watching them drink tequilas while i was in a mourning mode!
Best part of the episode... The Salvatore Brothers of course. I'm shipping Delena but it would be heartbreaking to see them separate again over a girl. And did Stephen call Elena a very special girl? In what way?
Also i'm sad about Klaroline not getting any good moments before Klaus' ''departure''. Come on...I didn't ask for endgame. But making Caroline jump from joy for them getting rid of Klaus didn't even give them a decent closure.

Klaus was hilarious when trying to break into the house. Funniest scene in a loong while! I thought this episode was easily the best of the season so far. The only thing that didn't fit into it was how whipped Damon and Stefan were! "Elena is such a special girl, we're just gonna sit around waiting who she chooses, because that's all we care about"? That is lame, guys! Come on, you're badass vampires and much better as a team anyways! Leave Elena to her brooding and get the hell out of Mystic Falls!

Unlike you, I have hated the pantomime villain 'Klaus' with his affected accent and speeches. I have just had absolutely no interest in him or his wretched family at all. They have been the wad of hair that clogs up the water in the plughole of the shower, stopping the plot from flowing freely and forcing you to stand around in dirty, cold water that's not going anywhere. Yes, I suspect they'll bring him back. These writers seem to have a dread of actually saying goodbye to any of their creations. And I shall have a hissy fit. Good riddance.

I think Klaus might be back next episode...for whatever reason, the boys won't get him into the Atlantic Ocean (maybe they go back to Mystic Falls when they here about Elena collapsing)and then somehow he'll get blood into his system and come back to life!
Also, another theory, in the promo, Elena is in the car with Matt and they go off Wickery Bridge. I think this is a parallel of what happened with her parents three years ago (probably to the day, I reckon it's the anniversary of their death or something). Now last time, Stefan saved Elena but couldn't save her parents. I think this time, Damon is going to save Elena but he won't be able to save Matt. I'll miss him but seriously the poor boy has no storyline anymore and it doesn't look like Caroline is going back to him any time soon.

I might hate Elena with freaking passion but I find people's ignorance over most common medical knoweldge horrible.
She hit her head. Followed by passing out with a blood coming from her nose few hours latter. Classic case of brain hemorrhaging, haematoma or any other typical internal bleeding from that hit.
I don't care what happens to her since I could not care less about her, but please, please, please, people, don't miss most obvious details.

Hahahaha, so true :-) I was thinking the same, but maybe things work different in Mystic Falls.
What I liked in this episode
Klaus attacking Elena's house. GREAT! Badass all along! Totally enjoyed it!
Klaus telling Caroline she's safe with him. Had a certain deal of irony ;-)
Damon and Stefan bromance. I love these two together!
What I didn't like
All are happy while Badlaric is still alive?! SERIOUSLY??? You're kidding me, right? They were all like "wooohooo, nothing bad will ever happen to us again". I couldn't understand that one second. Yes, they had to stop Klaus to save Elena. But taking down the ONE GUY who can help stop Badlaric?! How stupid is that?

i have to ask:
If Klaus is really gone then why joseph morgan received the season finale scripts.he will obviously have at least one scene.and because it's a flashback episode of elena's past life klaus will for sure be in nowadays mystic falls!
After all i think Bonnie didn't kill him but killed him Mikael way so we definetly seeing him again.
But yes i cried like a baby.no matter what klaus was one of my favorite and joseph really helped.his story,his character...i just loved him!
The episode was EPIC.TVD never fails to deliver.I can't imagine how fantasic the finale will be!anf there is one more major death?Klaus was not enough?

Making it super quick since it's late:
-KLAUS IS THE BEST BADASS when it comes to tearing a house apart. Talking about unwelcomed guests... He rocked the hell out of that fence, not counting the determination in wich he marched towards the door WITH A NEWSPAPER ON FIRE!
-CAROLINE THROWING A BON VOYAGE PARTY FOR KLAUS AFTER HE HELPED HER. I get it, she didn't like him, but still... a party? While the corpes is still "warm"? Tacky, CF.
-ELENA'S FAINT. She's pregnant (Lol, just kidding), but it seems obvious to me that is a secondary effect of her head wound when she knocked herself onto the stair step.
(BTW, I'm no doctor, but I'm guessing that if you lost most of your blood you wouldn't be able to talk or walk... LEAST OF ALL DRINK TEQUILA!)

This so much. There's no originality in this show already.
Not to mention that no matter how interesting it sounds, this show would never succeed in executing that storyline.
"Steffie goes off the rails" ALSO sounded as a great storyline...sadly...

Oh wow Matt, your review was totally ripped from my soul! But after reading the latest grippings attached to it. I just came up with a huge thought from reading borednow and fourtyseven. BN: said why was klaus weak and was taken by Stefan when he couldn't take baby dark-laric (btw, love this name mash) and FS: said he thought klaus possed Elana...oh my god! Klaus possed Stefan! Because he knows Elana will choose him! That's why Stefan made Damon say he would leave if she chose him! That way "Stefan"can get the girl and when he brings back real Stefan, he will have to love him like a brother, which he always wanted, because he helped him win elana and Damon would be long gone. If this is the case, this would be the best twist ever for season 4. My heart is beating for what may come! I'm stoked!

Why on earth would you ask if Bonnie should be a new villain when we already have Alaric going dark. He's clearly one of the future new villains, if the show is going to be creative they will stick with keeping one loved character from the gang as a villain and focus on new original ones (not original as in, the family) and Bonnie going "dark" may sound interesting but this show has taken material from Buffy quite enough, so no thanks.

I'm sorry but the show will never have the same appeal to me without Joseph Morgan in it. I literally waited for every moment he was on the screen.
If this is the last time we see him, Joseph Morgan, you did an incredible job!

I know it seems wrong to feel sad that Klaus is gone but i can't help but feel like something will be missing from TVD from now on. I miss Klaus already. I know it is far fetched but I hope Rebekah finds him and brings him back in the next episode. Lol I want Klaus back! :'(

Celebrations all round!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Not only did TVD get renewed for a season 4(the long wait kinda had me worried) but Klaus is finally dead(hopefully). I didn't scream out loud till the end of the episode just to make sure I didn't get excited over nothing. Off course he'll show up sometime again, I just hope it's late in season 4, I could do without him for a long while. I thought last week was amazing, but this week was just absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!!!! I'm not gonna go into any details, because this episode speaks for itself. One question though, does anyone have any idea what actually happened to Elena at the end? I hope she's not turning, otherwise the finale would be all about her decision and blah blah blah. Who else thinks Bonnie should be the main villian? I'm just picturing her kicking some serious vampire ass.

Forwood Forever. Like 4EVA Mark Wahlberg Fear style, sorry if that's creepy great movie just had to throw it out there. Loved this episode. Not sure why Elena passed out but perhaps it was just for the human reason that after you lose a shitton of blood you're supposed to rest, recover, hydrate and NOT take tequila shots. Just a guess?

For what it's worth, I think it's good that Elena didn't choose. And I think she didn't wanna say the real reason; because of the brother bond, what Klaus said. They're all never been good with confrontations about the brother. Elena did the right thing, not choosing. If she chose, the brother loses each other. And I think that's more of the reason why she didn't choose, instead of being selfish her not wanting to lose the other. And yeay! Klaus is gone. As much as I love him, I'm glad he 'died' or desiccate whatever.
