i was crying non stop…if it were me, i would have chosen stefan, because he is her soulmate he is the love that gives her a reason to keep living and that is what love is, the kind of love that gives you hope in the darkest of moments. ive experienced love that consumes you and its not the best kind of love, because you completely lose yourself in the process and you forget who you are, stefan always allows her to choose for herself where damon always thinks he knows better than she does at making her own choices. i feel for damon, but she belongs with stefan, because no matter who met her first, you cant decide who you love in one second, stefan won her heart in all fairness because he gave her a reason for living again. elana might be a moral compass for damon, but stefan is her moral compass and he is the one that her heart truly belongs to…damon still loves katherine and he always will, she was his first love. that will never change and elana is not katherine… but one thing i

except that stefan is a more scary killer than damon when stefan's in a bad mood - is he really safer?

All I have to say about Elena meeting Damon first is that when history is suddenly rewritten on a show just to make a couple happen down the road, it's hardly ever a good thing. Stefan and Elena should just stay together and Katherine should come back for Damon cos that is whom he truly loves.

@Amy Hoang - About the vial of blood given to Elena.. It was given to her when she passed out and went to the hospital because she was going to die from a hemorrhage in her brain. So it did heal her. The reason she turned into a vampire is because she drowned in the river, but she still has the blood in her system previously.
Jeremy didn't die in Season1/2 from the drug overdose when he had Anna's blood in his system because he didn't take enough to kill him, and the blood was just healing him instead. He never died, so he could never turn.

Mina - That was Tyler then. It was when he was transforming was when Klaus was possessing his body. It was Tyler up until the point when Caroline left.

When Caroline and Tyler had that heart breaking moment, Tyler said 'just tell my mum i left town like i was supposed to' but if Klaus was really in Tylers body then how would he have known?!

The storyline is just getting back insync with the books. Elena becomes a vampire in there too after drowning in the river.

Whoa...I am like, thinking way back to the end of season 1 now, was the vial the same as what Meredith gave Bill and Elena, the same amount that Anna gave Jeremy or was it not? If so, then why did the blood only healed him and not transition him? Ok, once I find it, I am gonna re-watch it and if the size and shape are the same, then I really do guess the producers just use whatever they like and so, of course, that could also mean that Elena is just revived, but doesn't turn. Who's with me? If anyone have season 1, please re-watch this episode and post and us me whether the vial are the same size and shape. Thank you.

Elena said you should be with the person that makes you glad or happy to be a live, well she is not alive anymore so what does that mean for the trio now? Who does vampire Elena want? Since we know that human Elena wanted Stefen maybe Vamp. Elena wants Damon?

if im honest, i don't get why her meeting him first would have changed everything. he still was in middle road waiting for a car to kill someonee, he was still in love with katherine, he was still set on destroying stefan.. just cause he was nice with one convo.. and him making her forget he told her he loved him.. so.. she knows that.. :| but when he told her she didn't even love him back? and i do think its sad tho that what he thought she wanted is exactly what she didn't want.. she loves stefan.. no matter if she fell in love with him :|

I am so happy that elena chosed stefan, on the other hand i was sad because of what happened to tyler,matt etc ,i dont care what elena is i will love her the same way hope she sticks with stefan next season are else i am going to mad, those people make my day.i am a stelena fan till death..katherine is right for damon so what if he found elena first stefan was the one who actually saved her fricin life ok i love damon too but stefan is my baby.love bonnie and jermy 2.I am going to go crazy ,not seeing the show untill september..stelena straight

llk_vomit - I totally agree with you. It seems as if season 3 was dragged, like the producers was making it up as they went along, not like season 1 and 2. I do hope season 4 will be better.

I watch the show (Duh) but why would I stop ? Ive never posted that I was done with it ala BoredNow.I just hated this season and it did'nt live up to the excellence that season 2 brought.

As far as Supernatural villians go on the CW,Crowly and the Leviathans from SUPERNATURAL are way more of a threat than pussy boy Klaus ever was.

I hope there will be a Karoline romance, yes we all know if Tyler's not dead, they would all know for sure that Klaus is not dead, but that doesn't mean they would think for a second, that Tyler is actually Klaus, unless of course, he'll do things that raises suspicious or, Bonnie tells someone/everyone or, they somehow firgured it out on their own. I really do hope before that happens, they do a lil hanky-panky(call me weird, but it actually would turn me on...LOL) I know he's been sweet and letting Caroline make her own choice, but that don't mean if he gets the chance, he won't take it...

I give season 3 a D, that is being generous. Nothing lived up to the hype, the big bad villain was a flop and the main heroine was so irritating, she made me dread watching TVD. I really perservered because I had faith that it would be good again. But the finale was extremely underwhelming, I feel that the writers had no real direction with regards to the storyline. So what if Elena is a vampire, knowing her personality she will probably screetch about how wrong it is to drink human blood while at the same time partake in huge amounts of it. She is a hotbed of contradictions and double standards.

Couple of other things the producers have yet explained, like who was the witch that was giving Vicki a chance at the human world or, were there more than one witch(I could assume it was not a Bennett line, but if not, then what line are they...), also the werewolf who never attacked Elena, Damon or, Alaric when they were looking for Stefan(its eyes told me that it knew who Elena was and the way it was staring at her...trust me, if this wasn't important, then there was no need for it), if killing an Original with a stake burns its body, then why wasn't Esther's body burned???, not only that, it seems preserved(her body never turned grey either, as we saw, so could that mean she's dead, but undead again???, so now with Alaric dead, what about the stake, I mean, it was bound to his ring, but would that mean, once he's dead, the power of the ring that bounded the stake is dead?, if that's the case, would it once again mean, they cold only use it once? Too many unanswered questions...

Well, even if Rebekah has yet figured it out, Elijah would know for sure, since he stated in the past, switching bodies is one of Klaus specialty and if they see Tyler alive, they would know for sure, Klaus is not dead, but I mean, Bonnie knows, but now, there's a twist, because even if a slim chance Klaus didn't create Mary's bloodline, we don't know for sure who's Elena's bloodline is now(if she does become a Vampire, but maybe Meredith would know, which I highly doubt) and seriously, if they happen to do yet another twist as who the bad guy is gonna be, I'm gonna scream. I am still rooting on Tatia/Klaus family(No matter what the producers say, to me, they're only presumed dead), but yes, it's gonna be hard for Elena now, because once she's a Vampire, she will remmeber all the times when she was compelled(and don't forget about Abby, how Damon ultimately did the deed, so she and Stefan could be together, Elena has yet to know about this...)

I'm very glad that no original died in this ep, I thought they were going to kill at least one of them but I'm extremely happy that they didn't!!!
Just one question... If klaus body was set on fire, does that mean that he's stuck in someone else's body foreveer??? Because joseph morgan is the only klaus!!! I dont want him gone..... there is no point in having klaus if there is no joseph....

Firat of all! the flashback with Damon and Elena had the DEEPEST MEANING..it showed us that Damon did meet her first ...and in fact you could see Elena sharing her thoughts about her relationship with Matt with a complete stranger she found there (which means she was drawn to him from the very first minute she saw him),,and if her parents hadn't come, they might be chatting for hours right there..and second and most important, was the fact that it was revealed to us that DAMON COMPELLED HER TO FIND LOVE AND BE HAPPY...!yay..you know how important that is?when she remembers all this, she will DEFINATELY feel overwhelmed by it and by the fact that Damon was the one that indeed changed her life and his compulsion brought Stefan into her life..but eronically...she said that sge feels consumed when she is with him and Damon thought she always wanted this in her life...tragic irony!HER FEELINGS FOR DAMON WILL ONLY GROW STRONGER NEXT YEAR...they are ENDGAME!
