I have to say I really feel for Elena (even if this triangle is annoying the crap out of me and I never was into one pairing in particular..well I favoured Stelena a bit I guess)
I mean of course we all want that crazy passionate love that consumes us! (Just saying I'm a huge Chair-shipper and that word hit home with me ;))and when Damon said "It will always be Stefan" I hurt so much for him and thought "Really? AGAIN?! But Stefan wow I mean to have someone who loves you so selfless that he will let you die in order to respect your wishes even if it's surely killing him inside instead?! It's kind of THE biggest gesture at all! So really I understand Elena I probably coudn't decide either. But now since they have eternity maybe they can share...just kidding^^...but well why not? Every 50 years or so they could take turns ;)
But what I honestly dind't like was the whole "Klaus is now in Tylers body" thing. I mean NOOO.... Joseph Morgan is just too handsome and his accent way too sexy

Theory: Damon compelled her before stefan met her to find what she's looking for. She knew he was right when he told her what she was looking for. They were flirting. In a perfect delena world Elena doesn't over look that little moment in the street where Damon could have been the person that was there when she needed him. Just a different circumstance. By all in all I'm married and have been for a long time and my soul mate is wayyy more like Damon than Stefan.. I hope the writers make her a smart vampire.

I love both Stefan and Damon but i think that Elena has always meant to be with Stefan. Damon is the cheeky dangerous brother who can move on with things even when it hurts and the fact that Elena chose Stefan in season 3 finale even when Damon asked her truthfully who she would rather say goodbye to between them two she said it would always be Stefan who she loved, she cares about Damon but they suit understanding eachother in a romantic friendly way like best friends, they dont have the passion there unlike Stefan and Elena. She may have saw Damon first but her she was also meant to forget them meeting for a reason, and that was so she could fall in love with Stefan. Its just like twilight, she loves them both but it will always be Edward..

Oh and how many seconds did it take Elena to forgive Damon for all he did? Both brothers are not saints, they know it, Elena knows it, now you guys need to get it.

i just hope that elena does NOT become a vampire. she once said to stefan that she didnt want that for herself. she wants to grow up, maybe have kids. i dont think thats sth. she wants even after all whats happened

@alwaysstelena and dme, its pointless to try and talk some sense into those people, Elena told Damon she loves Stefan, they can't accept that becoz they think the show owes them this hot pair. LOL,its not the end of the world!

I'm reposting Mel's theory because that'd be an awesome twist of events, even if it would piss off all the Stefan fans. Even if when all is said and done she still chose Stefan over Damon, this would be a great story line for Elena, to have to decipher what was real and what was compulsion, just like what Stefan and Damon had to decipher with Katherine.
Anyway, here is previous poster Mel's theory:
Theory:
In the scene where damon meets Elena first, he compels her to "find all that she is looking for".
Then when she met Stefan she says she "fell for him instantly".
Stefan did such crazy stuff to her this year and she forgave him in a matter of seconds.
I think she is on some level "compelled" to love Stefan.
Of course she does but there's a level of compulsion going on because it simply makes no sense. Damon was there for her all year long and that kiss in the motel wasn't normal. They have so much chemistry and an unremarkable bond. And it was so hard for her to admit it for

@Marisa I think that's called controlling someone, not selfless love. Selfless love lets you be you and supports that, not makes you do what they think is best. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Ian but Damon needs someone else, not Katherine's double or his brother's old girlfriend JMO

@morgan really go to hell? Cause we prefer Stefan.. do you see us saying all Stefan haters go to hell? Wow.. just because Elena made her choice and it was not Damon do not need to be harsh.
Listen I find DE boring so it is an opinion just like you guys find Stefan boring with Elena. Honestly, it started with Stefan and it will end with Stefan. The hope of DE that JP put there is to throw bones so ppl can keep watching the show like other shows have done.
Really why do you guys want Elena and Damon together because Damon is hot even though he has done horrible things.. I mean come on in the end she realized she wanted Stefan even if she met Damon more.. she was compelled to be with an all consuming love yet.. guess what she chose Stefan.. so yup their love is true.
Do not get me wrong I love Damon but he needs to find someone who is not his brother's girlfriend.. find someone who loves him for him.

It says something when the supporting characters are miles more interesting than the mains. I'd rather watch Caroline/Tyler/Klaus way more than boring and stale Elena and Stefan- Those two are like watching cardboard

Like some of you guys, I also think Stefan had his chance and he blew it. And it annoys me that he thinks he's selfrighteous, that he's good enough for her. He had Catherine then Elena, now it's Damon's turn. Stefan should go back to Catherine.

@dme : I don't agree with you. Yes Stefan let her make her own decisions, but to me that just looks like her loves her less. Damon loves her SELFLESSLY. He wants to protect her and be happy more than anything, even if that means she's not with him. That's what you do when you really love someone. You think of their happiness before your own.

I enjoyed the interview! I am very excited for season 4.
I am glad that Rebekah will be ostracized even more! I think Tyklaus will kill her as we now she is not part of the blood line and she killed his change of making more hybrids and yes she may be his sister but I will not be surprised if he kills her.
I am glad that Elena and Stefan will be a couple again.
I am not a Bonnie fan and I have mixed feelings about what she did.

i think elena should choose damon over stefan. not that stefans bad or anything, its just that we have seen the stelena couple for over 2 seasons, its time for a change! i know that in the end elenas gonna be with stefan but they could just give the delena couple a chance, i just wanna see how elena and damons relationship would be like compared to stefan and elena! like seriously, if elena keeps sticking with stefan, this love triangles gonna be really boring, theres gonna be not suprises :(
im even more excited of teh caroline, tyler and klaus!

this triangle is seriously gettin boring. maybe elena being a vampire will bring more excitement in it..because she was definetly the MOST BORING person although it think that she is really sweet. hope kathrine s gonna come back soon,she was really fun.would love to see her with stefan and damon with elena. My only concern is klaus... i love this guy..i hope he'll...joseph morgan is sooo amazing...hes not only good looking but i looove the way he talks...hes got to come back...even if its just for a little "klaroline" ;P

Bring Klaus back! Get him out of Tyler and bring him back! Other than that, and the fact that I care more about the Caroline/Tyler/Klaus triangle than the Damon/Elena/Stefan one, this seemed rather messy and a bit silly to me. However as I still watch GG, I can't be relied on to have a rational thought.

And now she will forget. She will still love Stefan, but that bond that was with them bc of that compulsion will be gone and all the memories that were erased with Damon will be restored THUS remaking the love triangle.
There's no way they put that scene in just to show that they met first.

I am só with you aydree, I totally agree. She said that she fell for him first and never really 'unfell' for him. So there you go! She fell for Damon first, though she doesn't know yet. So Damon and Elena are going to be together. Stefan already had a chance with Elena and blew it with saying that he doesn't want to have anything to do with her. sorry Stelena fans, That's just my opinion.
