Elena is going to choose damon. In their conversation she said maybe if I would have met you first. Well at that time she didnt really know that she had met damon the first time. He just compelled her to forget. Now that she is a vampire she will remember everything.
As for stephen he had hhis chance with Elana its Damon turn!!!

Loved this ep, and so happy she choose Stefan! I hope they now get someone for Damon, who he will actually love more than Elena! It would be so good! Also, we NEED Klaus in his own body and then we need Caroline and Klaus! They need to get together! It was the best ep ever, and what a cliffhanger! Can't wait for next season!

Lets be honest here.....for all you Damon haters, yes it is great that Elena is seemingly made for Stefan and that at FIRST she chose Stefan towards the end. But ultimately her conversation with Damon is what started her on the turning point in her life, if Damon didn't really care for her in the beginning either what would be the point in compelling her to forget him? Damon loved her at first sight which is why he compelled her to forget....he wanted her to also make her own choice! Damon also let her choose lets not forget that.
As far am I'm concerned Elena ending up with Damon would be great...where just for once, the character got to choose and not the script writer! The typical story line would say Stefan, and lets be honest all 1st and 2nd season we thought they would till the end. But being with Damon just seems so much better, she would never lose them both anyways, I mean Katherine didn't all those years. Why should Elena be any different!

i dont understand why people are still saying she has to choose damon.......did you not hear her choose stefan?, it doesnt matter who she saw first that was full of shit because the damon we all knew in season one didnt care really if elena was dead or alive he just wanted katherin. the writters are just trying to continue the triangle, which is getting boring.

What does Damon meeting her first have to do with anything? She chose Stefan regardless... She meant it as if she were dating Damon first. Yes she met Damon first but then Stefan saved her life. Stefan made her want to live.
She was compelled to have a consumed love but guess what still chose Stefan. Damon needs to move on and be with someone who loves him and puts him first.

OMG, the finale was amazing! Cannot wait for season 4 and to see Elena and Stefan back together finally! It was so great that she finally became a vampire, so she can be with Stefan forever!

I think that it doesn't matter who she met first. I think Stephan is the right choice because he lets Elena CHOOSE for herself and he stands by HER decisions. Did you miss where Damon told him " Why did you LET her go? I would've forced her to stay. Yes she would be mad but she would be alive...."

Team Damon! Yes I am! I must say though, I wanted him dead in the first season! The writing is so good that I dont know when I started liking him. Before I new i, I myself was inlove with him! Elena pick Damon and leave Stefan for Bonnie! They are more alike. Stefan is a sissy! Do you think Damon would have listened to Elena when she wanted Mat saves first! No way!

The last episode of the season 3 TVD really is a shocker and keeps us wanting more! Lots of new infos too from finding out that Klaus is in fact in Tyler's body, Damon met Elena before Stefan did, and how Elena is going to turn into a vampire. Please tell me season 4 will be coming soon.. and if so, when will it be out? Anw, I'm still rooting for team Stelena. I'm hoping that in the next season, Damon will find someone better, someone who actually values him more and not put him as a second choice (re: not Elena) hahaha

I love Damon I hope he gets his chance with elena cuz he truly loves her and he deserves to b happy. stefan is awesome too but I don't think that who she should be with Damon beings out the best in her and she would b way better off with him and he truly loves her more then him and I hope this new info of him meeting her first and wiping her memory makes her change her mind cuz he loved her right off the back. I love this show so much CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 4.

there is only one word to explain with episode except for WOW .... loved it
this season was kinda going in a circle but then the last few episodes the writers wowed us and open our eyes again .... they did copy the last seen from last night episode .. bella had kinda the same thing at the end of breaking dawn .. vampire diaries is way better tho ... way better .

I agree with cupcake i cant wait till season 4 4 more months is a long time and yes it knock the socks off of me also so far the best season yet i hope the academy awards people watch this season the best in writing and best show of the year and the best actors congrat;s to you all for the best show on tv

I like both Damon and Stefan. So whoever she chose I was satisfied with. They both bring out some part of her. But, we already seen Stefan and Elena as a couple so I would like to see how Damon and Elena would be as a couple. And I really hope she's not gonna be a Katherine. Maybe something like Caroline. Because Caroline had some rough patches when she first turned but, she always stayed a good vampire and that's what I would like to see of Elena. But, all in all I hope season 4 blows my socks off like this season did. Would like to say it was an amazing episode last night and can't wait for season 4!

I prefter Damon and Elena because 1. he did meet her first though he erased her memory and he seems to be more controlled and willing to do anything for elena, especially during that period when stefan was with klaus. as for rebekah, stuff her.

I REALLY HOPE CAROLINE STAYS FOR SEASON 4, I REALLY LIKE HER BETTER AS A VAMPIRE THAN AS A HUMAN. NOW FOR ELENA IT REALLY DEPENDS ON HOW SHE WOULD BE AS A VAMPIRE, ATLEAST WHAT TYPE OF VAMPIRE SHE WOULD BE THAN I GUESS WE CAN DETERMINE WHO SHE REALLY WOULD CHOOSE SINCE VAMPIRES BLOCK OUT THEIR EMOTIONS.

The end was amazing. do not like her decision. stefan is very boring. she should have choosen damon, but she will change her mind when she finds out that he was there before her parents accident. they both need each other.
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.
