@Mrs. Kol Mikaelson Klaus's Ex-Wife - An Elena sucks blog? I like the sound of that already! :D
TVD is based on Elena's perspective of what goes on in Mystic Falls (Fell's Church) I get that but erm, but doesn't everyone else have a part to play? Tyler seems to sail in and out of the storyline saying he went through a lot of pain to break his sire to Klaus for Caroline but what he went through trying to, heaven only knows.
What's Matt in the show now? Some show prop? He could have a big part to play. How about Bonnie? The whole hype about her evolving to be a witch and then super-witch, now what, servant witch? The book version of Bonnie is meek and scared but the writers have made the on-screen Bonnie strong and determined, but I don't know, lately she seems to be on-call for anyone and EVERYONE who needs some magical assistance. The writers need to catch up, look back at S1 and S2 and get back the TVD essence that made it great entertainment to watch.

Isn't she going to die anyway...why get her dad involved? This character is so under developed and so pointless, her dad's never around, I've only seen a bit of her front room, her boyfriend fell in love with a ghost, everyone she knows dies, she can never do any spells without calling on a whole century worth of witches!
If you decide to give her a dad, give her a sister as well, a much better actress Rae’Ven Larrymore Kelly, who kills her off and give her some dark magic to do with a story line, a well developed character pleeaassee

Maybe the fact he's stayed away so long is becuz he knows what happens if you are around the Gilberts. If Miranda and Bonnie's mom were BFFs makes sense that Grayson n the father were friends.

As a black man, it kind of feels like you guys just googled black actors and picked these actors randomly lol; but, outside of Morris Chestnut and Kadeem Harrison, the other choices wouldn't work.

He's doomed, I don't even care or to be more specific feel the need to torture myself and think of someone who would play her dad because he'll die soon.
I've reach the point where I think Bonnie should just go and leave Mystic Falls, it's a waste of time and she's loosing every member of her family for Elena. She can be her best friend but there are some lines!
The thing is that Julie Plec seriously think Elena Gilbert, that person who can't even think by herself and keep whining how everything is because of her (true true true but saying it everytime won't change anything) will become "supernatural heroine" in WHAT UNIVERSE? You mean maybe her ability to push people to their death will change her into a REAPER too. She's a walking death. I don't even see the use of this girl, if she wasn't the main, I would have actually believe maybe she would be permanently dead so the other character might move on with their lives (or deaths it depends) because she's just bad news this girl.

Does it really matter? The poor guys already going to suffer some tragic fate all because of our "heroine"- Elena Gilbert (unless a miracle happens). At this point, i already feel sorry for him and Bonnie but at the same time, its too late to really care. Bonnie is boring and underdeveloped and her father should have appeared like back in S1 or S2.
Someone who has no relevance, either way he's gonna get killed to save Elena, because everything has to be all about Elena, even if it will not make sense. Julie Plec makes Josh Safran a Peabody Award Winner. (kids, look it up)

Heck I'd go with Morris Chestnut anyday. What about that guy who played president David Palmer in 24 or Blair Underwood, he'd execute the role perfectly.

maybe Mike Colter! loved him on Ringer.
Her dad has to be a strong but calm person. a good roll model!
and hopefully they introduce more witches, really strong sexy witches to the show. someone who won't lick V a**!

Can I vote no one...? Bonnie's story lines always feel like a bore and a waste of time to me. The only one I liked was Grams back in season 1, and she bit the dust pretty fast.
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.
