When did the show ever imply that Stefan loved Katherine more than Damon loved Katherine? I feel like I must be watching a different show. Because it was Damon who was still trying to free Katherine from the tomb all those years later while Stefan had already moved on with his life, right? Or was that a different show (-prior to rewriting the shows history to make Damon and Elena happen).

Two lines of Dialogue which showed Elena how Damon feels. There is absolutely nothing wrong with TVD, season 3 had some boring eps and some really out there plots but its amazing and shocking esp the last 4 eps. The most brilliant eps since the show began! Everything is on track and with Kevin the A-hole Williamson back on TVD almost fulltime it will be even better.
All you people do is complain, complain, complain and complain. No show remains the same season after season. Every show goes through highs and lows. TVD included.

hey i think that stefan will eventually end up with elena but what i realise is that damon brings out the bigger emotions in elena and causes her to really develop into who she is. delena is a crash and burn, two hot sparks that will burn each other out and i think that elena realises that ans that is why she choose stefan

Since Damon met her first...why didn't he pull her out of the car? He was right there..hhhhmmm?? it was Stefan who saved her & Stefan did not love Katherine more than Damon did back then when reading the journals it explains how much Damon loved her because when Stefan saw a beast writhing on the floor Damon saw Katherine. Stefan did not forget about Elena when he was the Ripper....He was compelled to cut off his humanity. Although compelled, he still could not forget her. Let Elena & Stefan have a little fun their lives were so hectic they never really had much of a chance & you know she will be with Damon eventually.

Yes because her remembering two lines of dialogue that do not affect anything will suddenly make the terribly underdeveloped and ruined DE pairing better? nope, sorry.
It makes me wanna scream how badly DE is portrayed on the show, I enjoyed their interactions so much in the books, they both were so worth each other..
I enjoy all the Vampire Diaries scoop! It makes waiting for October a little more bearable! LOL

Considering TVD is basically at daytime/mexican soap opera level, i would not be surprised on if she remembers it during sex with steffie, lul.
yes, writing is that bad now.
That would be hillarious because TVD is becoming a parody of its former self, maybe its time to change the genre to comedy...Gawd, why is this happening, TVdD used to be my guilty pleasure when GG became a total disaster, now I am sensing the same here!

At some point Elena will have to give Damon a chance. But I still don't see them long term. Becoming a vampire will enhance Elena's personality, which means it will still clash with Damon's. And I don't get why meeting Damon first will make a difference. At that time he was still in love with Katherine. Actually he was obsessed with her. What girl would says "Oh I met you first while you were crazy obsessed with my lookalike so I'll choose you." I know it's only a tv show but that sends the wrong message.

Whoa...Elena will think the memory is actually occurring in front of her? Good god, I wonder what she'll do...and then there's the spoiler that says Elena will be on the outs with Damon in the premiere, so that makes me think she won't care or it won't go well...yikes. I hope the writers don't use th scene just to twist the knife in deeper for Delena fans, the did enough damage to us in the season 3 finale. DE fans have been waiting for her to remember this for 36 episodes, I really hope it doesn't disappoint.

Yes because nothing says "passion" and awesome relationship like sleeping with her doppelganger and her mother, raping her best friend, killing her best friend's mother, being abusive and misogynistic and being prone to killing people.
sorry, I was one of the most hardcore DE shippers in S1, but the pairing has been completely and utterly ruined.

What he said to her is important. It will help her in her decision. If you actually think about it, the show has about two major plots. Everything supernatural and the romance between Elena, Stefan and Damon. That's essentially what its about. Take it away the love triangele, what's left? Just let it be!

She DOESN'T KNOW what he said to her the first time he told her he loved her. The other thing is that Damon truly loves HER. Stefan loved Katherine as well, much more than Damon ever did.
I don't think they are dragging it out. I think they are doing a good job. Obviously in the Books, Elena ends up with Stefan, but you can't deny that Damon and Elena would be good together. She has to make a choice, but she will have to be in a relationship with Damon for her to know what she wants. Becoming a vampire would probably steer her in that direction.

its important bc this was before her parents died and she was happy go lucky elena and this means she met damon first. remember when they first talked he was telling she wanted a relationship full of danger and passion??
