Miriam Shor Cast as Reporter on The Good Wife Season 4

by at . Comments

Kristin Chenoweth is unfortunately out. And another former GCB star is in. But not as a replacement for her ex-castmate. Allow us to explain:

Days after Chenoweth announced that an on-set injury had forced her to resign from further filming on The Good Wife - following one episode of the actress as a political reporter - TV Line confirms that that Miriam Shor has also been cast as a journalist on Season 4.

However, network sources state that Shor's character is a national news correspondent who feels wasted on the local Chicago market, and will not simply be taking over for Chenoweth.

This role was conceived prior to Chenoweth's mishap and subsequent exit.

Shor starred as Cricket Caruth-Reilly on GCB and has also appeared on Damages and Swingtown.

The Good Wife Season 4, meanwhile, premieres on September 30.

Yipeee! Amazing. Love Miriam and glad she is getting good roles. I'm sure Kristin must have put her name forward.
