The Vampire Diaries Spoiler Summary: Decisions, Deaths and Deredith
Elena Gilbert will be a full-on member of the undead on The Vampire Diaries Season 4. This much we know.
But a few spoilers/teases from this week shift the focus from how Elena will react to this transition and move it to what she will do about it. Our guess, based on the rundown below? KILL.
We've culled a few quotes and tidbits from a week's worth of reveals and interviews. To wit:
- Yes, there will be a major death sequence on the October 11 premiere. But the questions should NOT be "who dies," according to a TV Line tease. Start asking yourself instead: Who does the killing?
- Julie Plec echoed this sentiment in a chat with TV Guide, saying of Season 4 Elena: "How she gets blood is going to be one of the big problems."
- Damon, meanwhile, might find a new friend. Plec says the scorned Salvatore brother will need a new daytime drinking pal. Enter Meredith: "I don't think she's going to be as easy to sway as Alaric was, but there's going to be a buddy bond that forms between them, which will be fun." (Source: Zap2It)
- There will be a significant flashback on Episode 4. It will reveal a big secret that changes the course of the season.

Okay that picture of Elena as a vampire is absolutely freaky. Makes even more excited to season 4. :D Oh and just so you know, I may biased but Vampire Diaries is soooo much better than Twilight. Better acting and definitely better writing. And another friendly tidbit @Mrs. Kol Mikaelson Klaus's Ex-Wife, I'd be extra careful throwing that statement around, because you could be in for serious backlash from some of the more die-hardcore fans out there.

AS long as no more originals die i'm ok with it. Also interesting to have meredith and Damon friendship... wonder how that will come across.

I could have say it better than myself. This is garbage. The thought Elena being makes me want to fall out of my bed from laughing so hard. Even a carebear is more threatening than Elena Gilbert lol. By the way, I still look forward to seeing KOL and KLAUS, and my bby Rebekah. Other than fapping to this show, I am more focused on PLL and OUAT, might try Revenge and GOT for quality programming. This show is just a second-rate Twilight movie.

there's only one "scoobie gang" in genre tv shows and it had a far more competent redhead witch, far more kickass and interesting blonde lead female, far better main two vampire love interests and far better writing.

I had to look up who pastor young is, because i have seen every episode and couldn't figure it out. He is apparently a new character in season 4. Jamie was in the last half of season 3. He was living with Bonnie's mom, and then Bonnie went to the dance with him.

I admit I too am amused to see Ian with Torrey and Nina with Paul. While I used to be into a Damon/Elena affair, I now prefer that she chooses Stefan has her main squeeze.
While I've watched all three seasons of this show, I apparently do not remember much as I have no recollection to who Pastor Young and Jamie are. And while I assumed at first that Elena will be the one to do the killing, I am beginning to think that would be too obvious.

@Amie that one with trevino wasnt even a new one.. that was for the autograph session at comic con. the only reason they photoshopped trevino and zach was because they were the other two ppl at comic con. it wasnt meant for it to promote the new season, just comic con.

I think the writers should have Elena kill Jamie, which will freak Bonnie out and cause more tension between Bonnie and the scoobie gang. It will also get rid of one of the most boring characters ever on tvd - Jamie - who is a bore.
