Jesus, but these freaks in the comments are embarrassing. I just don't understand why they're being so mean, what do they think it proves besides their own immaturity and inferiority complex. As for the poll, I didn't vote. Not that I can't chose even, but after reading these comments I feel icky being associated with this bunch of fans in any way, positive or negative.

The two people with the best chemistry in the entertainment industry have made it to the top of this little contest. That is great. Love 'em both separately, but much they are spectacular together.

CASTLE is unique. This is the first time in my life I have felt the inclination to actively participate in a TV program. I am not a professional critic. As a viewer I perceive Castle & Beckett as two sides of the same coin; different but the same. Does this make sense? You grow to love them both & while remaining grounded in reality, Stana becomes Kate & Nathan becomes Richard. As a mother there have been times I feel like shaking them up...both of them...as I am sure their parents must feel on occasion. In a nutshell, there is no VS. between Katic & Fillion. At present they are both CASTLE - two young people with tremendous potential who have managed to make us believe they truly are ONE and I for one love them both.

The results of this voting and especially these nasty comments below are exactly the reason why I stay away from the Castle fandom. I just don't want to be associated with the most vocal and delusional part of it, so-called "Stanatics', and here they are at full display, at their "finest". I will never get how people can call themselves fans of the show and at the same time feel so much hatred and animosity towards the lead actor, who actually makes the show what it is, whether they like it of not - and just for the mere fact that he has some other memorable roles in his career besides Castle and dares to love them, too. And I feel a bit sorry for Stana, to be honest. With fans like these one don't need enemies, indeed.
P.S. The irony is that Emily, the first commenter, happened to be right - that's exactly what is going on here. Sad, but true.

Come on, this poll is not an election of who you want to run your country, it's just a fun and interesting way to determine which shows and characters are most popular amongst the online community. Period.
If there is "hatred" being bred amongst the Castle fandom it's because of the fans themselves, NOT because of TV Fanatic or any other site that has set up a poll like this. We just need to learn to have respect for all members of this wonderful fandom and we need to pull together to show support for this show because both Nathan and Stana wouldn't be on television for us to cheer for without this show and without such a loyal fanbase behind them.
Honestly, can't we just be HAPPY and PROUD that BOTH of our stars made it to the final round? Why does this have to instigate fights amongst the Nathan fans and Stana fans?? Okay, either way they're the best couple on ABC. I, however, cannot vote in this for the fact that I love Stana and Nathan too much. These are talented actors and they deserve this honor, but I'll let some other Castle fan vote. I can't choose.

It's sad that this poll has brought out arguments about who's better, which fans are more loyal, which actor is more deserving. Does it really matter? For example, yes, I'm a fan of Fillion, and yes, I loved Firefly, but the very fact that I'm here means that I'm also a fan of Castle, having watched every single episode. So people telling Nathan fans (me in particular) to "go vote in a geek poll" is just absurd. What, we can't love both shows?
Folks, this isn't a federal election. Vote for the one you like the best, or the one you think deserves it. No need to judge others' motives and reasons, and certainly no need to justify your votes.

hahaha I agree, @Laura. \Molly's and Nathan's egos are unbelievable sometimes, I feel they are just jealous of Stana, for different reasons of course. No wonder really, Stana is perfection! Nathan could stand to lose some attitude and learn something from her, professionally and as a human being. Like somebody said already she has the most to do with Castle's success and has most difficult parts to play (brilliantly). I don't know what Nathan can be so cocky about, playing the doofus that he is, not like it's that big a stretch. "Star" my ass. And seems like this poll agrees with me, hehe...

That is a terrible pic of Nathan. He look so old and tired there. Comparing the banner photo on top of the page (ie. season one poster photo) with the photo used in the poll (not too long ago, since it seems like it was taken during the Spiderman movie premiere), it's a bit surprising to see how much both Nathan and Stana have changed over the years. Nonetheless, love them both.

I don't understand how Stana is not 90 % yet. I dont know anyone who likes Nathan better than her, he has to have less percents. You browncoats should not vote in our pole if you dont watch this show and many of you even want Castle canceled. It's not fair.

@vilfbrim - but the problem is that we can't see the results before voting, so we have no idea who to put the vote in for and equalize the result to 50/50.
As much as I want both to present ABC to battle against other network stars in the upcoming polls, there can only be one winner. So, the question being, who do you like more? Or who would you rather representing ABC? Can't decide? Then flip a coin. 50/50 is not happening.
Either way, it's a win-win for Castle fans. We made it this far. The previous finales for CW and CBS has more than 10000 vote (CW is 30000 total if memory serves me right). So whoever wins this round, we should show our support no matter what. Because there would be no Castle if not for BOTH of these two talented actors.

That is a terrible pic of Nathan. He look so old and tired there.
