this show is so well written and the entire cast so engaging it is no surprise that they have such a loyal fan base. i must say I have never heard of writers and the powers at be listening so intently to the desires of their fans!! This was a very sexy, funny, entertaining episode!! just wish during the romantic scenes that the lighting personnel would "lighten up" a bit, it is always so dark when castle and Beckett get together it is hard to see the "action" If they can lighten it up on utube..surely the pros can do it!!

OMG! Ryan in the interrogation! LOL. I haven’t laughed-out-loud that hard at a “Castle” episode since the “pickled egged moment” from “Sucker Punched.” Oh, Ryan going after that guy was just so very enjoyable! It’s my “rewind moment” of the episode. :D I also find it very interesting that Ryan has decided to keep the secret (as least for now) seeing as Beckett is so sure he’ll, “blow it way out of portion,” if he finds out – which, I guess, is why she looked like she was having a complete (and hilarious) nervous breakdown when she realized Ryan now knows.
As for Castle’s “beach house,”… oui!! :0 I’m sorry, but I would just never leave! I don’t care how much you love NYC, I WOULD NEVER LEAVE! Why would you *ever* want to leave?!

please Michael go away - I dont think I can endure you on this site badmouthing Castle!
This was another fun episode - the writers are to be congratulated for making this union work - and when Castle gave them the name Caskett! Obviously someone was reading the past comments. I just want to be sure though that the entire cast remains part of the storylines.

I loved the call-out to Firefly, when he mentioned the "serenity" of his place. The house was spectacular, of course, and his comment that he was not "James Patterson rich" was very sly, as Patterson portrays one of his poker buddies on the show. The whole hour was just pleasantly redolent from treats for the fans, and I am going to watch it several more times this week, I think. It's so nice that ABC makes their episodes available online.
I wasn't even paying any attention to the mystery of who killed the man who fell in the pool; I was too alert for more inside references for the fans. They went all-out this time. Once in a while, it is a delight. Always, it would be cloying and campy. I trust them to keep a nice balance.

Loved this episode. Loved the unsuspecting Ryan found our first in the squadroom. And I love even more that he's going to keep the secret. Loved that Castle noticed the knot tying and knew the killer wasn't the marina guy. How cool was the sexual tension even as a couple, they have to wait for the right time. Great writing.

I loved almost everything about this episode, but have to agree that the choice of killer was a bit squirelly..otherwise...loved.What I didn't love was the preview for the next ep. I am ok with Castle being a suspect..but the fact that it makes it look like Beckett believes he could be capable?! not good. I really hope they arn't breaking them up and this is just a bump in the road.

Another absolutely fantastic episode. Between the Caskett mention, Kate getting called a hooker (repeatedly), Ryan's interrogation and then his conversation with Castle just afterward made this episode amazing. The twist was great and I'm glad they incorporated meaning into Castle's clumsiness.
And we should all be greatful for the fact that they kept Revenge (with it's shallow characters and predictable, monotonously soapy plot) as far away from this show as possible.

other then seening Kate Beckett naked felt kinda of boring you know like what made it so different from Bones and NCIS or law and order I don't know just seem like ever since they put the two main star together the show has not been the same.
Just wonderful, amusing, delightful and didn't Stana look amazing (Nathan you have to lose a little weight - please). Can't believe we have to wait for two weeks though. Is it because of your presidential candidate debate? And wasn't is great that the "Caskett" word was used! Roll on the 30th (29th for you, you lucky people).

I LOVED this episode.
Ryan's interrogation scene HAS to go down as one of the best scenes in Castle history. I started of being impressed with how hard he was leaning on the guy, but when he started interrogating about Castle and Beckett - that was just pure genius. That scene made the whole episode for me.
It was also fun finally watching Castle and Beckett act on how turned on they get when they're talking out a case. Intelligence is definitely a turn on LOL. We've been watching how excited they get completing each others' sentences since the start, and they finally had the space to be physical about it. That was hot. Not gonna lie. Very hot.

Great episode, I love how they still manage to keep that couple interesting even tough they're together now. Who would have thought, of all people, Ryan would be the one to find out first (aside from Martha, or course!) I would have guessed Lanie or Esposito, but not Ryan.

I absolutely love this show -so much that I'm always upset with myself for wishing the rest of the week & weekend to be over with so I can get to the next episode. I'd love a trip back to the Hamptons with a Revenge crossover, but I won't hold my breath for that.
The next two weeks are going to pass so slowly! Though, I can't say I'm too thrilled at the thought of Castle being a legit suspect -whether the clues point his way or not. Hopefully it's not the first Castle episode ever to get two thumbs down from me.
Until then, LOVE this show!

another great episodes the writers sure know what there doing loved how ryan found out and nice of him to keep the secret.looks like the next episode will be very intense and we all kno castle didnt kill anybody
I absolutely loved this episode and I gotta say that Castle writers are doing an amazing job. I like the fact that they used their shipper name. There are very few tv shows that incorporate what the fans want into a show. I was jumping up and down while Ryan was in the interrogation room with the partner but it is nice to know that this relationship will be kept semi-secret for a while.
Everyone kept saying Lainey or Espo would figure it out first and I cannot believe that Ryan did. This episode was so good that I didn't really care about the murder although I did not see the meth lab thing coming. As soon as they said that, I kinda figured it would be someone we did not even remember. The romantic scene was just as good as I expected. I'm so glad they are together. However, I will be pissed if something happens to that relationship and make them break up or something like that.

Monday's are MY favorite night of the week. I love Rick and Kate! Absolutely wonderful cast...still grinning over the Ryan interrogation...WOW! Loved Martha's..."when a man says 'what are we going to do for dinner?' he's dead to me." Amen sister! Lanie, you are awesome and Javier, you are wonderfully clueless. (Still want you and Lanie together...just saying). FINALLY when Kate and Rick do "their thing" talking out the killer, they were able to cinch up close, like they do MENTALLY every week. LOVE this writing and their playful relationship. THIS is how a fun successful relationship really works. Thanks for finally getting it right! Keep it coming!

My husband and I enjoy Castle so much that we both stop whatever we're doing to watch every Monday night. And tonight's episode was especially rewarding. The writers are doing a wonderful job at keeping the chemistry roiling and the acting is just flat-out superb from every member of the ensemble cast. Castle's last phone call from Ryan with Becket listening in was just priceless! And we just vkept grinning at each other at every sly turn. GREAT JOB!
