New Vampire Diaries Preview: Fresh Footage!
His name is Connor, and he's about to make a serious impact on The Vampire Diaries.
With Season 4 of this CW thriller set to premiere on Thursday, ITV2 in England has released a new trailer for the first two episodes - both of which I've seen, the second of which is among the best in the show's history - and it includes our very first look at Todd Williams as the new hunter in Mystic Falls.
What does he want? What circumstances set off his arrival? Have patience, TVD fans. We'll find out soon enough.

@amiie hate to burst your bubble, but those are the only limited plots that j.plec can write about, i love but seriously do you still want forwood after s3? julie plec just nuked holes for that ship to sink when she write about moooaarr cave sex

Do anyone remember Luka and his father and sister Greta? I guess maybe the character Todd William plays have to do something with them? He just reminded me of Luka, but that would be a bit boring I guess. Since everyone is so anticipated about him I guess he will be a badass hunter. I'm just siked about this pastor, WHAT WILL HAPPEN?!

What I want is some Forwood scenes, like not just them making out but actually having conversations about their future!

@ Ilk_vomit don't blame us for that julie plec needs to get laid because all she writes about is her characters to bang, bonnie as a plot device, her characters creating sexual tension, and save elena because "she's a special girl" (the helmet wearing kind)

And I am tired of DE fans wining about wanting more DE scenes...Guys, the show is called the Vampire Diaries, not The Delena Show...just btw.

I think the problem with this episode is that they're bringing in the hunters way too early. I mean, this episode is the episode where the show's main character is going to have to choose between death or being a vampire. And as boring and cardboard as Elena may be, this episode should have been focused on just that - what will she choose? Does she regret saving Matt? And how do the others around her react? This could really have been a great episode, if they could for once just focus on the characters, not all the action and villains.
But nope! Instead we not only get Bonnie trying to reverse the whole thing, which is pointless because she's gonna fail and it just makes Elena even more of a Mary-Sue, but we also get vampire hunters randomly appearing out of nowhere, cheap action, taking all the focus away from our main cast. So, yeah. This episode is gonna suck.
