HBO has released the first official poster for Game of Thrones Season 3.

It reveals nothing but the premiere date already announced this summer at Comic-Con, but still. It's a reminder that this epic smash is on the way back...

Here is what we know so far about Game of Thrones Season 3:

• Will Champion, the drummer for Coldplay, will cameo as a musician.
• Ed Skrein will portray Daario Naharis, the captain of the Stormcrows, who helps Daenerys sail into Westeros.
• Jacob Anderson take on the role of Grey Worm, the leader of the Unsullied, a sect of eunuch slave soldiers trained from birth to go into battle.
• In the biggest casting news of all, Ciarán Hinds will play the major character of Mance Rayder.
• It will be awesome.
