NCIS Spoilers: Tiva to Open Up Like Never Before?

at . Comments

This summer, NCIS' brain trust promised to "take things further" with Tony and Ziva in Season 10.

As always, that could mean any number of things. Ambiguity is one of the show's calling cards.

That said, executive producer Gary Glasberg offered this insight to TV Guide: “As we get into November sweeps, expect to see Tony and Ziva opening up to each other more, sharing some guarded memories that they both cherish."

"Tony will have some decisions to make as the season progresses," the show-runner adds of Michael Weatherly's character, hinting, "decisions that could leave him at a real emotional crossroads.”

Elsewhere, Glasberg weighed in on Alex Kingston guest starring as a key character (and a redhead no less) who will catch Gibbs' eye. Miranda Pennebaker will serve as his conduit to D.C.'s underworld.

"She is someone with a bit of a shady past who knows a lot about the underground sale of things," he says - the selling of a teenage girl in this particular case. "Gibbs turns to her for information."

"They clearly have a bit of a sordid past. It's never really determined how far their past went, but there's flirtation in the air. This is the first time that they are really working together on something."

Will it be the last? Sound off on these dueling NCIS teasers in the comments below ...

I will say this im looking forward to the Vance/Ziva/CIA storyline

Sam, You maybe correct.. although I do hope You aren't.
I still wish to watch NCIS for a few more years.. lol
and not repeats of the early seasons before ZIVA..
which I have now seen many many times.. lol
I will admit, that when Kate was shot, I thought that is the end of NCIS for Me, but found maybe like many other fans of the show, That Cote made the show even better, especially with all the funny language quips.. and the "she can kill a man with one finger" statements by Tony...

YIKES.. a lot of shows that have finished because of the linking of the two main characters. Some shows can draw this out over a very long period of time.
We the fans can really love watching these, but once they are married or together or having a baby etc, or even worse, marrying someone else... lol
It really wrecked Bones , in My opinion, although in JAG it was a long drawn out affair , but how long can You go, or would a NORMAL person with those feelings, go without saying anything...? lol Its probably very difficult for the writers to keep these things going.. and VERY VERY difficult once they are together.. although it makes Me VERY angry when one of the Main characters leaves very suddenly to marry someone in another country..
I do curse the actor, who has left the series...

Folks, it's clear that by the end of the season that these two are going to be heading in the direction of entering a relationship. Now, it's also beginning to become clear that either next season or the 12th season is probably going to be it for the series. So how far and how fast they take things with Tony and Ziva are probably going to depend which season will be the final one.

on Friends and ER didn't harm anything about them getting together on Friends when Ross and Rachel got together and broke up before 2nd season and fans loved Monica and Chandler together and it was on for ten years, ER they all about that on that show since day one fans where happy Carol and Doug together it's just George got his movie Career and that lasted for 15 years with the main character hooking up, what killed that show was the helicopter falling on poor Romano I know lasted 5 season after but still. on JAG it didn't happen to the last episode the two Main characters together and I like Harriet and Bud together so did others. but I agree with House

Jesus Christ, Janet. Take it easy on people. YOUR posts are barely literate, so try to show some tolerance. Clearly some of the people who visit this site are not from the States and don't deserve your ridicule.

Grey's Anatomy
Gilmore Girls
That 70 show
ER These are all show that Shipper have either taken off the air or destroy because of their selfish need to see Sex between two main stars, These are all show that just like NCIS had a great fan base that was told to Love or leave it when the Tiva group came and stole the show from US the people who watch NCIS when NCIS was not the cool thing to watch, They Told US the fans who LOVE everything about NCIS not just one character that WE ARE NOT REAL FANS they told us THE SHOW ABOUT ZIVA AND ONLY ZIVA. So go ahead attack people spelling attack their grammar or how their style of writing is if that what you have to do to make yourself feel good go right ahead keep on doing what you’re doing because all your doing killing NCIS and adding it to that list up there. NCIS is not a romance show it is a well acted show with good characters and you want to junk it up like a romance novel. Tony and Ziva together in a relationship would effectively have NCIS 'jump the shark'.

They said if you have to make personal attack at people its because you can not accpted that they are right and you are wrong

Hi Janet - I know, right?? Lol they change their names and then try to use words and lines from YOUR posts because they're too lame to come up with their own!! Yeah...the GRAND MAJORITY - like I already SAID - wants Tiva. Therefore, Mr. Weatherly already told you that it WILL happen. Is THAT clear enough for you???

firstly people can change there names but never there style of writing you know who you are, anyway gary glasberg doesnt always follow through on what he says but we all know tiva will happen.

Tony: One other question, I know you're an expert in English history. And I was just wondering, have you ever heard of Archibald Drummond, the 17th Earl of Trent?
Ducky: The Earl of Trent. No, I can't say I have. Why?
Tony: I was just wondering. Thanks.

McGee: All right. Well you should probably know that Abby and I used to date?
Bishop: Ew. Like, each other?
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: Wait - isn't that a violation of rule 12, never date a....
McGee: It was a long time ago. After we'd broken up, one night I went to her lab. Found a scribbled piece paper; a list. Potential boyfriends had to fulfill certain conditions by a pre-arranged date or else, goodbye.
Bishop: Such as.
McGee: Things started off relatively normal: opening the door for her, flowers, putting the seat down. Then around number 8, it gets uh...
Bishop: What?
McGee: Does she know you have these?
Bishop: Does she know you have these?
McGee: Yeah she wasn't happy when she found out.
Bishop: These are all very specific.
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: These ideas apply to you?
McGee: No those rules weren't in place when we were together. At least I don't think so.
Bishop: What's with the two month cutoff? Abby's sabotaging herself. I've seen stuff like this before. We have to talk to her.
