Sean Patrick Flanery to Play Private Investigator on Dexter
Dexter has filled its two major Season 8 roles.
A very short while after news hit that Charlotte Rampling has been cast as a criminal profiler/neuro-psychiatrist, we can confirm that Sean Patrick Flanery will recur this summer on the Showtime hit as a private investigator named Jacob Elroy.
The actor (Breaking In, The Young and the Restless) will play a former cop who many believe will help track the killer of La Guerta.
Showtime has not yet committed to Dexter Season 8 being the final chapter of this story, but it has announced that the series will return in summer, as opposed to its regular fall time slot.

I HEART SPF!! He's been off our screens for far too long! Great actor and sexy as hell! Hope he becomes Dex's best buddy and confidante and lasts the final season/s lol
