OMG! Lots of hooking up on this show, and I don't mean Severide. Wow, Chief. Would like to see some of the personal, home life of the other characters -- Mouch or Otis. Yeah, I'm thinking Taylor and Lauren are buddies off screen. Nothing wrong with that, and it shows on screen. Gotta have my Taylor Kinney twice a week! Yeah, Tues. and Sat. nights!

I completely agree with the reviewer that last night's reveal by Benny now puts a whole new light on Boden's conversation with PeterMills about keeping focused on his job and not getting distracted by a workplace relationship, but I'd add that it's also interesting to note that Boden used Kelly Severide as an example for Mills to follow. I think that Benny, knowing what happened to Mills' father, drilled it into Kelly's head how important it was to not get distracted while he was training as a 'candidate'. If that's the case it's very nice continuity on the part of the writers.

I am wondering if Severide has feelings for Shay? Yes, I know Shay is a lesbian and I doubt she's interested in Severide. However, the scene at the Banquet when they walked in together he was beaming.
